I love this show!🥰
you are truly the ONE designer that pleases the masses!
You should do an episode where you drastically change the target audience for a product by making alterations to its packaging.
He did that in the captain crunch vid
That would be fun!
Or changing the genre of movie posters and video games!
I love this idea of giving detail back to brand logos, becuase most of them are so oversimplified now.
Good
Dude! You NAILED the Pringles one! So much better than the original!
* clears throat * Brandon Shepherd demonstrated exceptional talent and creativity during his remarkable redesign of the iconic Pringles logo. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of brand aesthetics, he managed to breathe new life into the renowned potato chip brand. Shepherd's innovative approach seamlessly fused modern design elements with the classic Pringles identity, resulting in a logo that exuded both freshness and familiarity. His use of vibrant colors and clean lines captured the essence of the Pringles experience, evoking a sense of excitement and joy. Through his incredible work, Brandon Shepherd has not only revitalized the Pringles logo but also cemented his reputation as a visionary designer capable of leaving a lasting impact on the world of branding.

The Pringles Logo you made gives the pringles guy so much more personality, its almost like he upgraded from his job as a potato chip salesman to his dream job as a performer but still selling his famous chips at the concession stands.
You just gave lore like Lucky Charms or Trix guys in their pursuit of the cereal but better. This is an awesome backstory.
Pringles lore!
So you're saying it lowers the brand recognition value by removing the mascot from chips to entrepreneurship.
The redesign is obviously the better art piece but it makes for a terrible logo.
He's just the Monopoly guy now.
@@HostileAtHeart it aint that deep

These overdetailed designs genuinely make the products look so much more appealing and would make me actually want to buy them
Yeah i dont understand the oversimplification bullshit, it doesn't make the logo more friendly, it just makes it soulless and boring
I would buy pringles cans on the regular if they had this level of class
@@dumbvillage9253"We aim to make our brands more recognizable - by removing what made them recognizable"
Brands make designs simple because it be easier to make faster production and be more recognizable with the simple design choices over designing may make it to cluttered or less modern like today i hope this helps :>
@@KaylaWolf0408 yet they fucked up the pringles guy by making him less recognizable
The Pringles Logo is just…beautiful.
It feels like it has a soul, and dare I say that I actually prefer it over the original one before the bad redesign.
The other two are good, especially the Land O Lakes one.
The "100 calories" box: am I a joke to you?!
How do you not have a job at Pringles as their logo designer? That was spot on! In a video, can you design for different Lay's flavors? That would be cool.
The monster one goes so incredibly hard, companies need to hire artists again
For real, graphic designers and their respective companies are so full of crap these days
@@antr_ not all graphic designers 😢

No way that you made the Pringles design look so good it even outshines the original design even from the pixelated look on the thumbnail.
HOW, that is WILD!!
I think it beats out the _original_ even, these were sick! monster was the weakest but I'd still go "oh, that can looks sweet" if it were a special Halloween-themes flavour
A toddler could outshine the current awful design. What’s more impressive is he outshined the OLD design
Tbf, beating the current design is not a very high bar.

3:25 fun fact: Pringles do not meet the requirements to be classified as potato chips, so they are actually labeled as potato crisps.

In the UK this is a null point as everything is labelled as a Potato Crisp
I thought crisps were just the UK term
Fun fact: fun fact is overused overrated
Going to the supermarket and stocking my pantry would be way more pleasurable if packaged products were like small, well-designed works of art like these!

Probably when the younger generations get in charge of the designs. These simplified designs are more of a Gen X idea and I dont think millenials and gen z are particularly fond of them.
Most designs and art exist as a reaction to earlier works, take romanticism vs. Modern breakthrough. Gen X grew up with complex logos and are simplying them, millennials and gen a grow up with simple, and change it back to complex. So on and so forth.
@@SlashProducts true
You can only simply things so much so I think it will get to a point that all the simplified logos will just revert to be more complex
As a gen z I truly hope we go back to the more creative complex logos. But more of their own style and not the skeumorphic + woosh everyone seemed to be going for in the 00s
This guy needs to get hired #hirebrandon
It ain’t over complicated if this guy can do it for free, it’s just marvelous. I think the reason it’s expensive is because the makers expect good pay out of fine art.

More companies need to overcomplicate their branding tbh. It just looks so much more interesting and fun.
It's actually insane how much better that Pringles can is now. I wouldn't even call it overcomplicated really. It's so well balanced it honestly looks like it has always been like that it's so perfect.
too big though
I'd say it goes original>minimal>this busy mess
It's overcomplicated, over engineered and too big for a logo.
Yes it's artistic and it will look great as a collection but not as a logo that will be in millions of packaging...
@@deepakbisht4957 it will be super recognizable imo
dude, if i saw this Pringles design (but before he added the chips) i would be like "i need to buy some of these"
I legitimately think thay this will be the new trend in a few years. Everyone is sick of things being simplified, and that pringles redesign in particular made me crave these designs with more personality
No the simplified pringles is easier on the eyes the overclomplicated one looks like an off brand version
@@oo--7714 I'm sorry, but this is one of the only instances where the simplified design just straight up sucks (let's just admit that we're saturated with one too many minimalist designs). No soul, no personality. Just flat pretty colors. I still can't forgive them making the Pringles man bald and dying his eyebrows black.
@oo--7714 when i first saw the new pringles logo, i was kind of conflicted if whether it was a retro version pointing to how awful the logo was in the past or if it was actually offbrand, it just fucking sucks
Every trend is a cycle, it'll come back round eventually
i think designs are so simple because it costs less to use less ink when print the logos which sucks 😭 i hate simple logos

as a pringle fan and as someone who studied graphic design and marketing, your pringle logo? it isn't overcomplicated, it's balanced, the texture looks soft, the details aren't too small to see, and the shading it's just perfect.
in other words, it's perfect
Hm, and the shiny gold text makes it feel much more premium...
as a pringle fan
@@clydu91
There's the heavy metal fan, there's the marvel fan, there's the fan, and then there's me: the Pringle fan :)
If there was something that didn’t add much, would it still be perfect?
@@neonzplayz5060 well, usually a logo is simple because it's a small logo, like an application or a mark, but this type of logo is printed on a chip bag, so it's pretty big for a logo.
in case there was a mistake or an imperfection in the logo (or like you said something too simplified), it would easily draw the eye of the viewer to it, and once you see it you cannot unsee it... like the beak of the duck that looks like a dog.
so no, it would not be still perfect; small mistakes can be more devastating than what expected when we talk about sponsoring something
