I love this bike, it does everything so well and they look great too.I bet the Ohlins just finishs it off perfectly. If I could of found the R model I definitely would of jumped on it. Stay safe 👍
@@timfinning I have the graphite Grey one the ohlins is a nice touch still fiddling with the settings 🤣.... But they are great looking bikes and allot of fun.
@@huwtgriffiths4448 totally agree I really like mine. I just fitted a belly pan and quick shifter to mine. I have an exhaust to fit soon too. I'm going for a low exhaust and doing away with the under seat ones. Stay tuned 👍
@@timfinning sounds like it's a keeper bud 🤘..... I do like them in black though.... I need a tailtidy, new exhausts it's got the factory default ones they really need to go.... I had arrows on my previous bike and it sounded bloody awesome with pops and bangs.... keep us posted on the upgrades 👍🏻
Love it Tim nice find i dont like Dunlops either have you tried the Michelin road 6 i had them on my old FZ1 the best i have had by a long shot especially this time of year
Thanks mate, I find the Road's really noisy had them on the Z , when I had my visor open all I could hear was the front tyre but grippy no doubt. It's a great bike Lee it's just nice to ride 👍
I had an 06 and 09 models both had 180 rears as standard same as the Street. This model has the 190. I fitted Pirelli and it is night and day difference, so much better now for handling and cornering.
Hi how do you rate the speed triple in relation to the street triple? Do you mind the weight of your new bike? street triple wasn't more handy? faster in the corners?
I think the two are very similar, I really prefer this bike to ride than the street triple. This bike handles about the same and the extra weight disappears when you're moving. The older Speed Triples felt much bigger and heavier than this generation. Probably the same speeds in corner's to be honest.
Love It!!! Really great colour - I have a Street Triple in Phantom Black - really pops in the sunlight if you keep up the waxed shine. 😎
Thanks mate appreciate it 👍
Triumph are building some nice bikes I'll have to admit. You sound enthusiastic about this one...happy days.
Yeah I like this one, so good to ride. Beats the Z 1000 in every way.👍
That’s a big bike . Bigger than it looks on this ad I’d seen maybe I’ll still buy it as my first bike
AWESOME BIKE Tim 😎🤙......, Can't wait to do some kilometres with You Brother 👍👍... Yeah Boi"
Thanks mate, cant wait to put some kms on it, if only this rain would stop🤙
CONGRATULATIONS NICE Bike!!
Thanks mate appreciate it.
I got one 2017 r model.... My 2nd one, 1st one was taken out in an accident in March 2023.... Fooking love them.. Beast.

1 mean machine Tim, you have been wanting this bike for a while and I definitely think you picked the best one. Looking forward to some of your mods!
@@mattexley8413 thanks mate it's a great bike very happy with it.
Nice!
Thanks Rooster.
The majority of Speed Triples come with a 190 rear tyre, beginning with the T509 in 1997.

@@timfinning Well blow me down! Turns out those early 1050s had a 180 like you said. Weird how they changed them back to 190 again on the later bikes.
Hi
how do you rate the speed triple in relation to the street triple?
Do you mind the weight of your new bike?

Do I detect a passionate and excitement tone back in your voice Tim 😏
Yes Colin I think you are right 🤪
I think this is the best looking Speed Triple they have done to date. The 1200 has lost some if the uniqueness by dropping the pipe down by the wheel.
Agreed, my mate has the 1200 beautiful looking bike but it definitely lost the bull terrier look about it.
Ahhhh heated grips...lol
Yes heated grips sooo good 😊
