After having subb’d I was delighted to find a podcast on SP Engineering! Those wonderful English boys and girls from Frome,Somerset, England 🏴 I run 3-1 low boy no baffle on my Speedy..Great vid mate!
I’m pleased you liked the video on the SP Engineering exhaust. Do you wear ear protectors? That’s something I need to get! 😁 Make sure you connect on Instagram too! 👊
I've always prefered bikes without stickers but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Some say it devalues the bike, I guess you have to decide how long you plan to keep the bike for and if you can live with factory stickers!
Good stuff Phil 👍 nice edits & transitions music overlays nicely done mate, can't wait see you on a group ride dude & I'd say baffles out an needs a Lost Boyz sticker on your bike 😎⚡😎 awesome stuff dude see ya soon
A lot of work , and thought gone into this to help us all make the right decisions with our beloved steeds , a fab vid Phil , great work take a bow sir 🙌👌
Thanks very much, you’re too kind! Honestly, they sound wicked without baffles but as I said in the video, they also sound wicked with baffles in but it doesn’t kill your ears. I plan to mix it up depending on where I’m riding too! Let me know how you get on! 😁👍
I just bought a 2020 Speed S. I am debating whether to get these or the stubby dome GPs😁 sounds amazing S&P is a quality product for those who dont wanna shell out 900 bucks for a friggin exhaust. Cheers!
Hey! Congrats on the new bike, you’ll love it! I’m really pleased with my SP Eng. end cans, they look and sound great. I’m currently running them with the baffles in as after a day out my head felt pretty thuddy, but I’m getting old! 🤣 Let me know what you end up going for. Tell Phil sent you and they may be able to do a deal or put the price up?! 🤣👍
Just subscribed to your channel. I cannot help but remark on how nice your speed triple looks in black. I run in white with originally modified 3-1 Arrow full system now into SP Engineering Low Boy, no baffle sounds sublime. I wanted to sit two stubbies “SP Engineering” under the seat, respecting the original Triumph factory configuration but my existing 3-1 is louder.haha English Engineering🏴
Thanks so much Alex for subscribing and kind comments. I’m biased, and agree she looks a beauty in black. Track me down on Instagram as I can’t wait to see pics of your bike! 😁👍
HELP…..is it normal for the clutch lever to have some play,it’s around 5mm up and down it’s not loose and the clutch action is fine but my OCD Is saying that the lever should be more ridged
The SP Engineering cans are really good and a huge weight saving over the stock items. My Sprint GT has been through 2 MOTs with no problems, dB killer fitted for the occasion obviously...
It’s good to hear from another SP Engineering fan! I’m definitely looking forward to being released again soon and showing my cans off to my local biker community! I’ll mention you if the MOT station have any doubts about noise levels! 😁👍
@@TheAdventuresofPhilJones the 1050 triple is a cracking good lump as it is (you don't need me to tell you that Im sure), but take the dB killers out and it is music to your ears. You want burbles, crackles and pops? You got it! 58 going on 15 I am lol...
@@stelvioc3691 Nicely said! I haven’t had the chance to have a day out with the new cans thanks to lockdown but cannot wait for a bit of fun soon! 18 till I die is what I always say! 🤣👍
Got SP's on my Z1000 and the weight saving alone is amazing, think they weight each around the same as a bag of sugar, compared to stock at around 16kgs
Nice video mate. I've owned my '18 Speed RS for 3 years now and can't ever see me parting with it. It makes me smile everytime I ride it. The only thing that niggles me is my twin Arrows are a bit out of alignment so they're the same distance apart. People have said that twisting the mid pipe is the solution. Do you agree? Any help would be great. Cheers from Melbourne.
Thanks so much Craig. Your bike sounds awesome, they are fantastic bike’s aren’t they! Have you seen my Speed Triple series on TH-cam? My advice would go to a custom shop or exhaust specialist and ask them to have a look. You need to carefully measure everything to find out where it’s out of alignment! Let me know how you get on. Good luck 😁👊
Phil, do you have straight pipes on the Triumph or do you still have the Cat in? I have 2 x Domed GP Stubbies on straight pipes on a Kawasaki Z1000 Black Edition and they make my ears cry! I have to have the baffles to avoid the neighbours lynching me.
I have the Cat but it’s still loud. For day’s out I’ll be fitting the baffles! Check out my latest video for more of the sound! I can imagine what your neighbours think! 😜👍
Thanks for your comment. I’m pleased you like the look of her, the new exhaust makes such a difference and really finishes her off. I’ve been experimenting with taking the baffle in and out, out really gets you noticed! 😎👍
@@TheAdventuresofPhilJones I recently went from a OEM to a Delkevic slip on for my Sprint GT. I believe they claimed about 5db difference between the two. Currently I have been running without the baffle. There's no doubt either way, both sound better than OEM 😁👍 Have a Great weekend...

Good luck with the new channel, mate. Great video to open up with.

When I received my new bike I asked the dealership to remove all stickers, I prefer the clean lines too. I like the sound with no baffles.

Thanks for watching and for your kind comments. I’ve got plenty more ideas and hope to start filming again very soon! 😁
Rear pegs off and a tail tidy with a 7 x 5 number plate. Speedys are amazing I love mine.
I agree they are a great bike. I have a pillion rider who wouldn't appreciate the dangling I'm afraid! Thanks for watching!!
What a cracking video Phil 👏 you’re a talented fella! I think I need to do a run with my baffles in after watching this 👍 keep up the great work

great video Phil, i have a standard 1050 94r and it seems a little quiet most of the time.
Thanks! I do still really love the SP Engineering Exhausts, Arrows sound great too but they are bigger and so expensive!

I’ve noticed the Arrow cans on my 2020RS are not symmetrically offset from centreline of bike. That’s just the way it is, not looking to change it.
Great video sounds and looks fantastic i have a speed rs just subscribed stay safe looking forward to next video's 🇬🇧👍
Thanks for the kind comments, Richard and for subscribing! 😊👍 Enjoy your RS, awesome bike mate! 👊

Sounds and looks lovely 👌👍
Thanks! I can’t wait to share some videos from the road soon! 😁👍
Lovely sound that 👍👍 ( baffles out )
Thanks! Baffles are out atm! 😁🔥👍
I prefer the look and sound of the stock exhaust 14:59 Nothing wrong with that!
Thanks for sharing. That’s great, each to their own, not everyone is going to like the same thing. 😁
The great thing is you could cut the baffle pipe down slightly for a fruiter sound which would still easily pass the sound regs.
That’s a good thought, maybe I’ll try that one day and request some baffles from SP Engineering! 😁👍
Awesome Buddy!!
Thanks so much, BikerBrian. I've just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to checking out your videos! Thanks for the encouragement!
