When pursuing improvements in your walking balance, agility, and stamina, it is SUPER important that you get your brain better at moving into different planes of movement, feeling comfortable and stable in that plane and then returning to midline.
These CLOCK STEPS drills target your cerebellum (responsible for accuracy, balance, and coordination), brain stem, and spinal cord (responsible for spinal reflexes and motor output).
As you practice these drills start with SMALL STEPS that feel comfortable and stable for your brain.
Also, start SLOW with your steps. Take a step, pause, find your balance, and then push your body back to center.
As you feel more confident moving in multiple planes, you can increase your stride / step length and the speed of your steps.
    This movement drill will improve:
    - Balance
    - Coordination
    - Spasticity
    - Vestibular activation
    - Posture
    - Pain
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
Whether you just received a multiple sclerosis diagnosis or have been previously diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, on a multiple sclerosis drug treatment plan, treating multiple sclerosis through HSCT or through diet changes exercise is extremely important and should also be in your toolbox for dealing with your multiple sclerosis diagnosis. Live your life by design and NOT BY DIAGNOSIS.

Good Idea. doing the clock and putting weight on each limb as you go around. My PTs over the years have had me just move around with no real weight on my legs. Thank you it is a small big thing.
