@@rossi5839 I did remove the bottom plastics. Also, when changing the transmission filter, watch for the little spring and don’t torque the metal cover too much. The first time I changed it, the metal cover plate cracked and had to order a new one from the dealer. It was a while ago but I think it was around $100 or more.
You said 10 30 but put in 10 40. Is 10 40 correct? How much oil did it take? What type of coolant did you use? Thank you also what was the milage on this bike?
Good video. I recently purchased a 2015 CTX700N Same bike except for color. I do the maintenance work on my Motos. Someone before you didn't lube the seal on that old oil filter.
I have a 2016 CTX700N, I’m changing my oil and cleaning and re-lubing my chain today!👍🏼
Did you have to remove the bottom plastic in order to change the filter?

Thank you very much. I’m doing an oil change on my wife’s bike and much needed info.

Either one will work just fine. Honda switched to recommending 10w30 around 2010 or so. Either will work fine. Thank you for watching.

This is my son's bike and we had not changed the oil since he bought it.
Did you finish the 450r?
Waiting on parts
