I know it has been a few videos since we worked on the NBS GMC Yukon but between my Son using it and me daily driving it has been a struggle to work on it. In this video however we put a brand new GM Fog light Valance on and add a lower splitter or lip to it. I really think the lower lip makes it look so much more aggressive. While we have all that apart I add new fog light housings and led fog light bulbs to the Yukon. Not only do the led fog lights perform better they look more modern as well. I am sure you noticed from the picture or thumbnail but we also removed the billet grille. It had to go. Follow along as I show you how to remove the lower valance or plastic from your GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe. The replacement of the valance or plastic is easy to do if you take your time and makes a huge difference in the look of your SUV. In this video we also take a look at the front pitman arm and idler arm to see what all needs replaced during the lowering process. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

It’s looking a lot better. I have always wondered what the deal was on that extra lip, I remember when those where new and occasionally you would see a Tahoe with one, always thought they looked good but never looked into it, thanks now I know!
Yeah they should have used it on all of them.
The billet never looks right on these IMO good call!
I agree
On my 06 Yukon I used eagle eyes fog lights and i'm very impressed with the construction, they even feel heavier than the original "autosystem" GM brand. I bent the bumper flange, used spacers and oblonged the holes on the plastic fog lights to get them to sit perfect in the valance. Also, since the fog lights have no splash shield in the back of them your front tires can splash a lot of water pressure on the back of the LED heat sink and water will seep through the heat sink and lead wire into your fog light.
I will check them out in the future.
My '05 Yukon XL..... My factory front / lower valance ... the center 24" inset is not open ( between the tow hooks ). But, also considering to install an LED bar inside it ( with a tinted glass, so it doesn't show up too much).... Good video, by the way. I also replaced my fog housings... I noticed, the finger adjustment 'bolt/spring/ thread' size are different from stock (?) Also planning to install an HID Morimoto kit for the fogs.....
Thank you. Good luck on yours
Removing the billet grill was a no brainer.. personally I think they make a vehicle look cheap. Lol. ✌🏻
I like it on some but definitely better without here.
SEM Color Coat in Landau Black. It lasts. I did my Avalanche cladding w it 2 years ago and it is still as black as it was when I first did it. It’s amazing stuff.
I may have to check that out.
@@TWAMotorsports I tried many products on these plastics and this is by far the most superior solution I've found for keeping them looking black. It has not faded, chipped, or flaked at all. It's more of a dye than a paint. I recommend it to anyone changing color of plastic or protecting the cladding and keeping it looking black.
That's awesome
love the lip and the fogs. great idea on the silicone!! Ty
Thank you. Lip makes for a more aggressive look in my opinion
Man you are a life saver i been looking to do the same thing to my yukon adding that lower lip for about a year or better now i went to a dealer to get the parts but did not any luck because they go off of the VIN and i could get any help from the parts dept with parts # was even told that it would not fit my year so i kinda gave up until tonight now that i seen your video i will be changing my for sure keep the yukon videos coming i watch them all BTW i have the same year make and model and color "pewter" which lower lip did you go with there are a few of them don"t want to get the wrong one
Thank you. Glad I could help. Definitely looks better with it in my opinion.
Yessir, love when nbs content is being pushed out. Gotta change that grille tbh
Thank you. Yeah grille is coming out
Loving the videos & I appreciate your attention to details. 🔍
Thank you
Red or black on the grille emblem would be nice
I think red for now but eventually black
03-07 Sierra front end on a Yukon would be cool! I believe its just a bumper and grille.
And cutting of frame horns.
I’ve used autozensation on my cat eye for headlights & fog lights never had a problem with them
Thank you. I will check them out too
Factory is the way to go on grilles, imo. I used the KYC brand lights, per your suggestion, and I love ‘em. But I wanted that factory amber. I’m not sure on a good brand for clears.
Yeah tyc is the best replacement for factory in my opinion
I love the videos man 🔥🔥
Thank you
Love the vids and i think an all black grill would look nice on it
All black does look nice I think
@@TWAMotorsports yeah with the emblem all black would tie off the front end nice
I may try it.
Any time I replace headlight housings, I apply a bead of silicone around the joint where they are glued together. I had one leak before.
Definitely good idea.
I have a 2002 Suburban 1500 LT and want to order and install one of those lower front deflector lip. Anyone know which one I need to buy and if I need to change my valance?
I have that same lower lip on my 05 Tahoe. It looks good. I bought aftermarket OEM fogs for mine and they shake a lot. Let me know how those work out for you.
It does look better. Fog lights do have some shake I noticed.
I like how the front end looks like from far away. I would change out all the front suspension if your changing out the idler and pitman arm
I am changing almost everything actually
@@TWAMotorsports that's good.
All but steering box lol
Would you happen to know if this would fit on the 05 sierra with round fog light valance
Doubtful
Dammmmm it my Yukon looks awesome 🤩
were you the previous owner?
@@jewllake no I’ll be the future owner lol
Lol
Hey I bought a after market air dam valence and it’s not snapping onto my 05 lower valence
Probably shouldn't buy an aftermarket one I guess
@@TWAMotorsports I made some cuts and it git
👍
Great video man
Thank you Daniel
Do you know if you can move the bumper front and backwards?
Not easily
@@TWAMotorsports is there an adjustment?
Not much. Mostly left and right
How much would you charge to rebuild my 04 yukon?
Don't have time to
Dope!
Thank you
How low are you going?
Probably around 3/4-5
What kit are you going with
Never use a kit. All individual parts I like.
Nvm i just seen it taken off😂
👍
editing would be awesome, good videos, very informative, just too much talking and basically thinking to yourself out loud
Drop that bit$& and it’ll look great.
Coming at some point
Take off the side steps 🥴
Not happening. Lol
bro you have to stop talking so much, blah blah blah blah
Thank you for the input. Do you by chance have a channel so I can get some pointers?
Nice video on the Yukon front Lower valance with the chin spoiler to allow more air into the radiator...the color difference is factory from GM.. I like the original look and yes the billet grill had to go... 👍
Thank you. Definitely looks better without the billet.
@@TWAMotorsports good night and I'll hit you up tomorrow on Instagram on my lunch break...
You too. Probably won't be on ig much.
The front grill is $388.00 Plus tax from GM
Cheaper for me
I would go with the original RED GMC emblem on the black grill. That’s what I did for mine and it actually looks like a new Yukon. I don’t like the honeycomb grill. The black standard issue grill looks good with red GMC.
That is what I think I will do for now.
I’d get the original grille and paint it gloss black with a new solid red GMC emblem. And the surrounding part of the grille chrome. Paint it body color to match.
I definitely want to keep the chrome
Thank you for the great video and for getting to the point! Your explanation was right on subject. Thank you sir!!!
Thank you
Black and chrome gmc grille emblem 🔥 i plastic dipped mine 2 yrs ago on my 09 nnbs Sierra no chips yet 👍🏽
I may plasti dip to see if I like it.
looks like u also need the idler arm bracket thats the one were the idler arm goes onto it also gots a socket looks like it has play u might want to double check that. good work
Bought the whole thing
Watching your videos make me go find a suv . I might have one finger crossed 🤞🏿
Good luck
@@TWAMotorsports thanks bro I’m will drop video on TH-cam Wednesday after the radio stop
Awesome
I usually try to go with TYC also, I’ve decent luck with Anzo here lately.
Yeah wish tyc made a clear.
Thx for the vid definitely doing this to my 01 Sierra
Glad I could help
The lip made it 10x better
Thank you. I agree
Does the lower lip fit on the 99-02 sierra
If you have the right lower valance
@@TWAMotorsports I have the factory one
Only fits 2005 to 2007 classic stock valance
@@TWAMotorsports is there a version for the 99-02
If you buy a valance for 2005 and up.
