I opted not to have it laced and without tire for $70 discount. In retrospect this is not the way to go because the rim that it comes with fits actual motorcycle tires

I got the enclosure from custom ebike. It runs a little over $600. The plastic ones are a few hundred more but don’t have as much capacity. Links are in the description!
@@retro93277 I was shocked by the price at first too. I priced out the plastic ones and they were $800 so it was the largest size for the least amount of money I could find.
God's work, thanks for taking the time to put this all together
No problem! Thanks for watching! let me know if you have any questions
So the listing on Ali shows motor wheel and tires. Did your kit not come pre-laced? And did it come with a tire?

@@atom0023 did you have to Dremel out both sides of the plate or just one side ?
Did you need two machine both mounting plates
No, just one side needs machining!
Do you have to machine both mounting plates on the rear hub? So that the bigger motor will fit?
Just one side
Where did you get that enclosure from ? Have a link ?

@@atom0023 I think I will design my own , it will prob end up being cheaper . It’s just aluminum panels . Thanks for the info ! 👍
Yea, I thought about doing it myself too. If you do make one you should make a few more to cover your costs!
