New Certified Oil Filter Review

Decided to redue my Certified Oil Filter Review since maybe I didn't give it a chance on the last review. I purchased this oil filter from Canadian Tire, cost for my area is $6.59 plus tax.
Still not a great filter.

definitively made by Fram it has the typical Fram base plate and cardboard end cap, just an orange Fram painted white. thanks, great video.

Thanks David, some of those economy filters are not worth the risk.

No bypass because it's for an engine with block bypass, so none needed on filter. Most likely older GM though some newer GM have block bypass too. Yes, it's a Fram made filter, though with nitrile adbv lower tier than the current Extra Guard orange can. Basic jobber filter quick lubes might use.

I can see this may be good for when you change out the filter on a short interval like 2 or 3 k , but that is it 🤔

Yeah it's not great, cheaper than Fram extra gaurd

Yes, not only fram. I like to use car quest filters, purolator, wix and ac delco. Even the super techs are decent filters. Thanks for your vids. Enjoy watching them
