This is great thanks ... based in the UK and fairly new to Etsy I followed the tip with setting Printful for US - now I see that anyone in the UK will see 'ships from the US' although I thought Printful would ship locally i.e. Birmingham (UK) or the nearest Printful country location to a customer ... grateful for any clarification! Thank you :)
Clear and helpful. I have an Etsy shop with Printful integration. In listings for a poster I have included the Printful basic mockups but want to add an image from my PC as the main picture. This needs to be done first, but once I have downloaded it it appears to be impossible to go back to Printful to add the basic mockups. Am I trying to do the impossible?
loving your work phil. your videos have really helped me avoid mistakes and learn some great tip on setting up my POD business. USed your template for the Etsy customer support and 5 days later my account was unfrozen. Much appreciated !
Thanks again for a great video as always! Question: I have a mug store on Etsy and I only sell in the US because I thought selling in other countries would be more expensive because of shipping. However, watching your video made me realize it may be good for me to sell in other countries as well. Any suggestion?
@@faithwoman8 Well yes in some cases it is more expensive but you can configure a higher shipping cost for those countries. I get most of my Sales in the USA and Canada but still occasionally EU or Australian orders. It's worth giving it a try especially for Q4. And the shipping cost printful page in the description definitely helps ;)
I read a reddit post where a girl was charging $30 and free shipping on etsy but losing money using printfull. -$6 . How are people able to use printful but charge less and still make money?
ETSY shut down my account before I even listed anything...I appealed it and got denied. They said I was a potential security risk and advised me not to submit any more appeals cause their decision was final....ETSY will let me buy but not sell....go figure.
I have watched a number of Etsy/printful videos. But I’m still sure whether I can start with a bank account with zero money or whether I need to have it topped up. Printful take the processing funds from your account, but Etsy do not place the funds into your account until the time set up (week/month), is that correct?.
@@PhilipAnders the first item i tried connecting was a mug, i just put in whatever because like you said they do it later. but man i was stuck looking everywhere for printful box diminsions lol

Yes unfortunately Etsy only allows us to set 1 origin for the product. Printful will still ship locally, Etsy just doesn't make it clear annoyingly.

after running a sale on etsy and etsys fees it won't be a 10 dollar profit. It will be more like 5$ that's the idea ;)
What works on etsy general shop or niche based shop ?
Either one can work. Niche based can probably do better but you're best finding a good Niche first

No idea what you mean, item size is completely irrelevant. Printful automatically provides that data
