@@PhilipAnders I go one question after the video. How does MyDesing handle the refunds? Do I still have to pay the production or is it like MBA?

@@PhilipAnders Wait. So print providers like Printify and MyDesigns don't give refunds???????????? I supposed that makes sense. But I guess you could have customer return the item to the seller, and they put it on a shelf somewhere non-musty, and ship it themselves when another person buys it. Would be a nightmare to keep track of what you got on hand after a while, though (I'm guessing...if anyone has a system or spreadsheet for tracking they'd care to share, hmu).

Thank you for this Video. Question. Printify allows design variations. Is it possible to add more than one Design File (Pos one that goes on light colored shirts and Neg one that goes on darker shirts) or do you need to create separate listing?
Philip, great video. Is there a way to order T-shirts manually to check out the quality before adding to Etsy? I’d like to preview the quality before plunging in on so many listings. I’d also like to be able to order T-shirts to be shipped to me directly for selling in a local shop but so far I do not see this as an option. In the end it is the final physical product that makes or breaks us sellers. Thank you!
Is it possible to edit a listing after publishing? For example, I may want to change the name of the sizes later on.

Great video. Where do I indicate the partners address/zip code as required by etsy if I choose to use Mydesigns?. Can you use Mydesigns in Canada?

This tool is pretty awesome, the only thing I am hesitant with is the title generation.. The general concensus I have gathered is to not put what the shirt says in the title, instead you would want to put something the customer would actually be searching in Etsy. Have you found this to not matter?
Intriguing, but a few major questions! 1. Can you edit the opacity of your design on the mock-ups to be more transparent so as to display more realistic compared to the actual product?
2. Also can we upload our own mock-up photos that it can use to bulk create mock-ups?
3. Can we fulfill through Printify?

1. Not as of yet but if you request the feature I can imagine them implementing it
2. Yes you can upload PSD mockups and create them in bulk
3. No as Mydesigns is a competitor of printify. But they integrate with some of the same print providers as printify and are adding more in future

Hello Philip, thank you so much for this video ! Very helpful and i almost finish your methode. But i'm wandering if we have to settings a new shipping profile with Swift Pod on our printify account before start in MyDesigns?
I'm asking that because i live in canada montreal and for the few listing i have in my shop actually and i choose Duplium who is a canadian print provider in printify, and on the shipping settings, printify seems to not allowed tu have a print provider outside of the country where i live... It's that weird or am i wrong on how to set my store and listing ? Thank you so much !!!!
I created a lot of png digital files for Etsy. But now, I want to use the POD. Do I duplicate them and make a bulk edit for tshirts? Or is there a way to do it with the existing png listing? TY
Hi Philip, in your etsy listings do you put seperate
products in separate listings or do you
combine different products in one listing. For
example you have a design, do you put like 1
listing for shirt 1 listing for hoodie 1 listing for
sweatshirt or do you combine all of them in
the same listing?
I used to do them separately as there was no other way. Now with Mydesigns I tend to combine multiple products into one as it's cheaper and more time efficient
btw mydesigns does do the POD but know that printify is still cheaper if you incorperate their shipping
Yeah some items may be cheaper on printify. The goal with MyDesigns is to save time. There's no way to quickly create listings and mockups + bulk publish through printify
@@PhilipAnders I defiantly get that but your established price will be a factor for those new into it.
Be aware that if you a production partner like Printify you cannot use external mockups from mydesigns and Etsy might ban your shop.
Wait a second. Are you putting both the t-shirt AND the sweatshirt on just one listing? Or did you just make it more efficient in MyDesigns, but in Etsy it would be 2 separate listings?

How do the orders get fulfilled once an item is purchased on etsy that was listed by mydesigns? Do they fulfill it through a print on demand website or do you set a print on demand website that you use on mydesigns and thats who they use? Also, does mydesigns handle the uploading of the tracking numbers? Lastly, how is personalization requests handled on mydesings? Thanks in advance! Keep up the very helpful and valuable information
You select a print provider through Mydesigns just like you would with printify. The tracking gets automatically uploaded and for personalisation check out my recent tutorial dedicated to personalised ornaments or my interview with Curtis where we discuss the topic😉

t-shirts still outperform all other products for me. But sweatshirt and hoodie sales do pick up

No as they are basically a printify alternative. They are adding many of the same production partners as printify to their own catalogue as well in the future
thanx for the great content. So i have been following thr ur tutorial, when i get to creating mockups with the free plan it doesnt allow me to do tshirt color variations. It says its for paid plan, Is there another way?
Ahh I didn't know that's limited to the paid plan. You can create them in separate batches still

Hey Phillip, I walked through the entire process, and I am currently at the publish part, In the store dropdown menu, my store name is not coming up even though my etsy is connected. Have you encountered this issue?
That's odd, never heard of that or had it before. Is it still happening? If it was happening to me I'd reach out to their live chat team for help
If your etsy pod is being printed by printing how does this work? I get that it's uploading to etsy but how are they becoming a pod listing without a printer like printing or printful?
MyDesigns works basically the same way Printify or Printful do. They print items for you through various printing partners
also side note n question issue with mydesigns as your POD provider your sub is over no more POD services i don't want to get lcoked like that vs printify i just paying for a discount vs a lockout
You can sell POD through Mydesigns without a paid subscription
The color shirt mock-ups don’t look realistic enough since the color is applied digitally. Sure, the white / black ones look nice, but athletic gray, Heather peach or Heather mauve are bad :/
I think I heard them talk about this in a livestream saying they have added or will add the option to have the heather effect applied to the design. Not sure if it's live yet but MyDesigns does always tend to improve things if they are made aware of them
@@PhilipAnders heather textures are live for select mockups now.
There's a heather toggle option for mockups that support it.
It’s placing the designs too low on the shirts. They should implement a way to fix that.

No not really. There is a super old one with old interfaces & workflows

depends on the product. for the shirts I showed there are swift pod, printful and mydesigns
Is there software like this for Amazon merch?? i struggle with titles and bullet points....Trump designs all over Amazon, i post one and it's rejected but why??? for the life of me just can't fully understand their policies even after trademark checks ;-(
You can auto upload to merch with flying upload 😉

When trying to publish listings it asks you to choose a provider, when you try to chose a provider the same way the video shows, the platform keeps shutting down. I tried 5 times to publish and keep getting the same results. I have the Pro plan and its not worth the time, headaches or money. All Hype this platform is.

The videos are nice but the program sucks and needs work. When trying to publish listings it keeps shutting down and not being responsive. The chat is a joke and the person i keep getting has no knowledge of the platform and keeps sending me links to the same videos i already watched. This platform is not user friendly so if your not into tech this is not for you.
What an utter waste of time, this thing is so buggy. I had a massive headache after two hours of screwing around with it.
