I think In the original game it's "Koume" on one and "Kotake" on the other, but i think the modder changed it.

8:33 The Pyra and Mythra swimsuits (and Rex’s) are in Xenoblade 2 and are rewards for completing really difficult DLC challenge battles. There are swimsuits for all main party members besides Dromarch because he’s literally a tiger.

They actually have a purpose as well, there's a DLC Boss who's surrounded by a poison puddle and these reduce poison damage

@@elijahfarias2403 i love this. one of my favorite memories of SCP secret lab was of a d-class who would keep playing that over the mic, it was hilarious, especially when he would use the limited-time event item that made you small and your voice high pitched. eventually, the entire server was referencing it all the time. good times 🥲

Bowsette was inspired by a Power-up in the Mario series called the Super Crown. This item was introduced in the New Super Mario Bros Wii U Deluxe on Switch and was only usable by Toadette. It would turn Toadette into a Peach look-alike called Peachette. This one artist drew a small Comic Strip where Bowser put on a Super Crown, which was the birth of Bowsette. She became a super popular character in 2018, especially among R34 artists. Her popularity rose to eclipse both Bowser and Peach on certain websites and she even got a page on Wikipedia. I'm surprised you have never heard of her.

Been modding the series since brawl and it just makes it refreshing to play the game in a new way every time.
Highly recommend checking out WillyFGC who makes some of the best stages and C# who makes a bunch of different mods such as an alucard moveset.

@@inkkles There is ALOT of progress with this as of late actually. Specifically Midbus and knuckles. It is NOT public yet but CSK and wuboy figured out how to port custom animations/moves into specific costumes to make echoes without replacing a character.

That sonic skin is actually from jet set radio future lol it’s the main characters outfit it’s a game about roller skating and doing graffiti I loveddd that game as a kid so much

@@hammechakaiju9140 It is more obscure than the Dreamcast game, which was later ported to multiple other systems. That is the Jet Set Radio *Future* outfit, which only saw release on the original Xbox.
I would love to see more videos on mods like this. Hearing your thoughts on the mods and reacting to the extra stuff that they add was genuinely really fun
Really wish Nintendo did this, it would really help with the skin variety. I just saw the Midbus mod for Ultimate and it is truly phenomenal. Thank you for this Poppt1, you should definitely showcase the Midbus mod.

The Shield of Classic Link is called Magic Shield because it can reflect fire and magic projectiles
The arrows he shoots are Silver Arrows, these are useful to destroy some demonic Entities and these are once used to finish off Ganon

The writing on WW Ganondorfs sword says either Kotake or Koume (his surrogate mothers). In the game he had duel swords with one on each.
"Accidentally" going cinematic mode when zooming in on pythra swimsuits. Also he definitely tried to tilt the camera on the uncensored pyra, if you know what I mean

I always love how much care and attention to detail is put in these mods. Breath of the wild Zelda actually made me want an age of calamity version of her in smash, maybe an echo fighter but she uses the shieka slate to perform moves and has a different up special

I think bowsette is based on the crown item from New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, it transforms toadette into peachette which makes her pretty much just look and move like peach, she can even float. And then the internet was the internet and put it on bowser instead
Yo Poppt I'm pretty sure the style of the Kirby and Megaman is called "cell shading". It's an awesome art style, and there's also a very cute yoshi mod that looks just like the other cell shaded characters that you should get next time!
I've always wondered why Cel Shading seems to have died off for the most part outside of like the last few Dragonball games and the Borderlands games and probably some others. It looks so good, isn't graphics intensive and the texture files are super small. On top of all that in my opinion it holds up about as well as 2D sprites have, I mean Windwaker looks better now than Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword's semi-cel shaded look ever did and they came out after it.
as the other person mentioned it's "Cel" shading, which is short for celluloid (which I guess could be abbreviated as cell as well but it's not, lol)
Poppt, you need to use one of those phone apps that creates a 3D model of a person so you can add yourself into the game with a moveset from that one fanmade trailer

You're not far off, but they actually changed Link's design in Ocarina of Time to make him more attractive, and it's believed that he was designed after Leonardo DiCaprio. Thomas Game Docs made a video all about it.

I'm late, but the things that made popular the Sonic G-Type mod are the voice actor wich is the same of Brawl that were original voice lines for Smash unlike the new one, the facial expressions that made look Sonic with more personality and the Skins.

It's based on Beat from Jet Set Radio. It's an old Sega game where you can spray paint the cops while doing sick tricks on rollerblades
The sonic skin is actually a Jet Set Radio Future nod at a character named Beat. That's also why sonic is wearing skates.

ganondorf sword at least in the original wind waker game says "kotake koume", and it's the names of ganondorf adoptive mothers, however, this version of the mod, which is based on the US version says "Honmono" which can be translated to "real thing".

Octolings are playable equivalents to inklings in splatoon 2 and 3! However the specific octoling in that mod is agent 8 from the splatoon 2 DLC octo expansion just like how the normal inkling skins has agent 3 from splatoon 1
ngl I was expecting mods that actually change the gameplay like the ones you were playing with Nick x) this was just extra skins - extra clean though!
