Alex, thank you for this comparison. Your video influenced me to pick up a Rojo Refine 360. Thank you for the discount! The preprogramed smart modes is what sealed the deal for me, this seems like a fantastic product for a beginner user like myself and I look forward to sharing it with my family. My Rojo 900 is coming this week.
I chose this one not just for the unique functionality of the 12 smart modes, but mainly because the Rojo’s unique ability to customise each wavelengths intensity separately makes this panel more future-proof than the other two. With a ton of new research coming out on wavelength intensities and dosage etc you can therefore fine tune the Rojo according to new research, rather than being restricted to just globally lowering/increasing IR or NIR on the other two panels.
Plus I got my ROJO for £929 with a free stand & free shipping which really is a very good deal for a top 3 performing panel.

Hi Alex, Just subscribed to your channel! I am very new to RLT and have learned so much from your videos. I have a dumb question. If you want to treat fine line and wrinkles on face and neck do you put your face closer than 6" from panel so your neck is not too far away from panel? Is heat generated from panel l, if so can that heat up your skin if you get too close? Don't wanty melasma to worsen. Is there a preferred range ie. 6-12 " that you need to be able to get most effective results?
Thinking about getting the Rojo refine 900 to help with different body parts also and my pets.

I might keep holding out for your whole body panel review that's upcoming. I really want to get to the point where I can do the whole body but I'm hesitant to combine smaller units like the ones in this video because the weight adds up really fast. I might be rigging up a custom articulating stand from vertical to horizontal and weight is pretty important. With a single whole body panel you could shed 40-50% of the weight of four smaller panels. The Mitored adapt mega only weighs 60 lb for that giant panel, while 4 biomax 900 add up to 132lb... Also, I believe mega panels benefit from large efficiency gains from fewer led drivers and fans, making the overall energy/circuit usage much lower. 4 biomax 900 = 1960 watts (a complete 20A circuit) so nothing else on that circuit can be on at the same time. 1 mega = 1220 watts, so you can still have the lights and plugs of other things sharing the circuit.

@@AlexFergusdotcomForgive me for my ignorance, but I was under the assumption that some wave lengths are beneficial to skin aging…with that being said, wouldn’t ROJO be the best choice considering the BIO900 has no intensity setting? I was about to buy 2 900 panels last night with the motorized stand using your affiliate link, but now I’m concerned about photoaging; it was a toss up between 2xBio900, ROJO mega panel, or IDEARED from AliExpress. What do you think about the 900s not having the intensity setting? Are we trading temporary skin benefits for accelerated skin aging?

On the Rojo, can I dedicate 100% of the power output to a single wavelength? Or if I turn all of the other wave lengths to zero and turn 810 to 100% will I still be getting 16% of the power dedicated to that one wavelength versus 100% of the power output dedicated to that one wave length?

    • @shay5025
      @shay5025 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Pretty sure you're only going to get that 16%. The sliders basically let you select between 0 and 100% of the individual wavelength contribution (in this case 16% of whole panel power). It's a physical limitation of how many LEDs of that particular wavelength exist on the panel. This also speaks to the light distribution. Since each lens has two LEDs, there a similar pattern as the biomax 900 when it comes to the wavelength pattern.

That's what I am trying to figure out, too.
It seems like if only one wavelength is selected to be operating out of all of them, it wouldn't increase the output of that one wavelength. It is just decreasing all the other wavelengths, and that extra power is not being reallocated to the first wavelength.

Yes, generally a longer lead time. However spec’s wise, they’re the same.
I saw this with Aquarium lights through the 2010’s. As LED technology was relatively new, High intensity LED reef lights were being sold off to multiple stores with custom logos etc. Infact, in the same ‘panel’ design as the red lights. These manufacturers would just pivot into what the latest trend is.

Yes, I did a video on buying from China and have included a panel I purchased in my 2024 Comparison video.th-cam.com/video/7PQAtrNkg3I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qQ3JDOnQ_f9jCfg2

All these reviews are extremely informative about the RLT panels but in none of these video’s are we seeing anything that is truly informative in relation to how good they actually work at doing what they are marketed for?? I’d love to see some real subjects (people) using these different panels and reporting on actual results seen and found by their actual real world use. Basically how effective are they after a period of real use on real skin etc…
Yes things are always going to be relative and subjective which will still differ from person to person. But some real world use and results would be good to see.
    👍🏻

DO NOT buy Platinum. Absolutely atrocious customer service on the phone. By far the most awful experience I have ever had with any company of anything ever in my life.

I was going to buy PlatinumLED but it looks like there are bad reviews everywhere about their service, I will go with Rojo

In my personal experience with platinumLED I experienced excellent phone and prompt e-mail support from them recently. I needed an extra pair of eye protection goggles and they sent me out another pair the next day! Platinum LED’s panels have been absolutely life changing for me.
