As she gets older, she manages to get even more classy with regard to everything she does. I’ve grown to respect her opinion and the way she voices that so much over the years. I love it and we need more women like this in the industry who point out things that are not fair while simultaneously building up the people that need it.

If you saw the movie, which I did on today, Jennifer Hudson, as usual, stole the show with her polished vocals and heartfelt acting. I, just like the security guard, was brought to tears by her performance in this production; others in attendance could be heard weeping and blowing their noses when she sang. Jennifer, IMO, is once again Oscar worthy with what she delivered. I also appreciate how laid back she was in this interview, but I do agree that Hoda asked some not so good questions. The guy who tapped danced in the red pants in the movie, as well as Idris Elba, also gave standout, memorable performances. Rebel was hilarious, and by the way, her "meow" here was more realistic, IMO. Francesca is breathtakingly beautiful and her flawless dancing was a delight to see in the movie. Lastly, I'm a die hard Les Twins fan (Larry & Laurent Bourgeois), so they are the real reason I went to see "Cats" today; so very glad I did!

Just saw the movie and loved it! We saw Cats in theaters several times many years ago, but the movie is just wonderful! The dancers were great, the singing was great (Jennifer Hudson singing Memories made me cry because she put such emotion into it), the moving ears and tails were great, the cat "movements" were great, the singing was great, the acting and facial expressions were great, and the sets were great! Ya gotta see it!

A short clip was shown of her singing in the Aretha movie (hits theaters in January 2020) when I went to "Cats" today. I tell you what, that woman delivers a soul-stirring performance each and every time she opens her mouth to sing! They picked the right one to play Aretha when they chose Jennifer Hudson. I even heard the Queen of Soul herself say she wanted Jennifer to play her when interviewed before she passed away. She'll be holding up another Oscar award for sure!

I do not like how the interviewer mainly focused on Taylor. Taylor literally tried to swap the focus on Francesca but she just would not go there. and "who has the most realistic meow? who is more likely to stay under a bed for 4 hrs?" like honestly ask more details about what they went through being so different from a film, and who has seen the previous cast recordings or productions for research purposes? what was Andrew Lloyd Webber like working with him? bro just get better questions

Wow. The interviewer is shady af. She barely made eye contact or gave any attention to the lead role. She asked each person to show her what they learned in cat school, but didn’t ask Francesca and as soon as Francesca started speaking, she immediately switched and asked Taylor about her music writing. Ew, people like her are gross. Good job Taylor for shifting it back to Francesca when you could.

As a general public viewer of this film I just loved it, as this was a play that I have wanted to see for many years and could never afford to see on stage. So I really enjoyed it from begining to end. I cried during 2 times in the film when the emotion was so raw to me. I can't understand the critics reviews of this movie when they can glorify a serial killer and tear down a story of magical cats. Shame on you!

Yes, Jennifer does look the youngest of these ladies. Moreover, you can tell she has very little makeup on. Can't wait to see her play the role of the legendary songstress, Aretha Franklin. A short clip was shown of her singing in the Aretha movie (hits theaters in January 2020) when I went to "Cats" today. I tell you what, that woman delivers a soul-stirring performance each and every time she opens her mouth to sing! They picked the right one to play Aretha when they chose Jennifer Hudson. I even heard the Queen of Soul herself say she wanted Jennifer to play her when interviewed before she passed away. She'll be holding up another Oscar award for sure!
