I met her once; her bodyguards didn’t want her to say hi to her fans but she went anyways and took her time to say hi to everyone, signed autographs, and took pictures WITH EVERYONE! Oh and she bought everyone PIZZA! not to mention it was really cold outside and other celebs didn’t even say hi they just went to their cars.

As a huge ballet fan I've known her for years and she is quite famous for rising through the ranks at the Royal Opera House very quickly and is well liked by the audiences especially for her role as Juliet, I would say.

We have been so lucky to meet Francesca, she is my daughters idol and to see her dance the nutcracker is phenomenal. She was fantastic and so humble, she made my daughters day, by giving us a personal tour of the Royal Opera House, and was such a beautiful person. Love her to bits. ❤️

She's a great ballerina! And a stunning woman! People should learn that Ballet dancers are just like any other athlete. They have to to train (take class) everyday to stay at top form.

@Liz Muschinski I agree he didn't make fun of her, but I thought he was off his usual level. Almost looked like an average guy going stupid because he finds the woman he's trying to speak to so beautiful that his brain has stopped working. I'm sure that wasn't it, she is stunning, but he's had so many stars on the show he has to be immune to that effect. Still, it's how he appeared to me and he wasn't charming. Not his usual level, but I did love his highlighting Judi Dench going to Cat school.

I know that she is new to the industry and I am excited to see her doing the press for the movie because she is the star in so many ways, but it is so awesome to see such a tremendously talented person in this role. I hope that she has continued success in whatever she decides to pursue because she seems like a genuinely kind and humble person as well as immensely talented.

The fact that she does not seem to know how to play into Jimmy's constant attempts to make the conversation more 'talk-showy' and entertaining - by virtually ridiculing every step of the creative process - really shows how raw and down-to-earth she is. I really like that, unlike most actresses - she does not feel the need to giggle through every question and adjust her normal behaviour; she just does her best to answer honestly and professionally, which is really refreshing. Kimmel comes through as very disrespectful, though - you have someone with an actual work-ethic who clearly takes their craft seriously, and he basically pokes fun of her discipline & preparation for this film - esp. at 4:00. A host should adapt their conversation style to the guest they are having (see Colbert), not the other way around - by basically making her engage in the same flippant and condescending way of talking about ballet & the film that Jimmy seems to project here. It's her first time on a US talkshow as well, she deserved better.

Well put. I get that Kimmel was trying to be funny and he has very typical American humour which is funny with the right guest... But I feel like adapting to your guest's level of comfort and demeanour is really important, it's the one thing that makes a host standout.

He was certainly being silly but if someone can’t poke fun at themselves and enjoy some jokes than they don’t seem like a very fun person to be around. She is lovely but dull, maybe it was just the nerves though
gee i didn't see that, he was just having fun finding different ways to look at the process than the "serious" way. It's like there's a "serious," "right" way to look at a process, and then a humorist finds different angles and perspectives on that process and brings those out and in doing so shows us different ways to see it?

The cat behavioural course was for like 1 month or something like that, Taylor Swift stayed in the course for 4 month's as she is the mother of cats lol Taylor actually sings the song "Beautiful Ghosts" she co-wrote with Lord Lloyd Webber.
Isn’t that cool? Taylor really adored going to cat school so while so many people maybe make fun of it, she thought it was a lot of fun and an interesting opportunity. I love how she takes those kinds of things and completely enjoys them. Also, I think that is a beautiful song.

Just saw the movie "Cats" and loved it! We saw Cats in theaters several times many years ago, but the movie is just wonderful! The dancers were great, the singing was great (Jennifer Hudson singing Memories made me cry because she put such emotion into it), the moving ears and tails were great, the cat "movements" were great, the singing was great, the acting and facial expressions were great, and the sets were great! Ya gotta see it!
She is the prettiest cat ever! Also the most talented ballerina with beautiful voice! Pure rare talent!

He’s just shitting on this project that she put everything on hold for and her absolute energy into.
Whether or not it’s a good movie, her dancing was incredible and ballet is a sport, a demanding job that takes dedication and you never get the chance to stop. Everyday is a constant competition, where you put your body to the absolute limit and do it again and again. When she says “you can feel it when you take a few days off” this is a high end ballerina.. i can’t imagine the pressure she’s under.
I can’t imagine putting so much effort, so much love into a performance. Giving it your all, going sleep deprived, working your body to the limit everyday because that’s what professional dancers do.
She reached top tier of her career and took the chance to be a part of this because she loved the musical growing up. learning feline movements in dance makes sense... you’re acting as cats. The characters are cats. ITS CALLED CATS. It’s not funny that they learned (from someone who studied feline behaviour) how to move like cats.
She’s tired and if I were in her place I’d probably stumble over my words, she is an amazing performer and that should be recognized and not belittled

I'm still not planning to catch "CATS" in theaters, but she is really gorgeous and sweet! Francesca does have a very feline quality to her, and also a very lovely accent.
What a wonderful woman. I really like Jimmy, but he is a little bit too trashy in this interview. I hope Francesca does not feel disrespected because of this. She stays admirably professional with the situation and does genuinely seem like a person who achieved what she did due to hard work and discipline. I wish her the best for her career and hope that mankind will be exposed to more of her beauty and good attitude in the future :)

Interviewers should learn to respect people’s crafts. These comedians think they're funny when they make these backhanded jokes.
Xcuze a comedian who doesn't know the difference between comedy and demeaning, especially when someone comes on your talk show, shouldn't have one. And for you think this way, it's clear your funny taste is questionable. That's all.
