Your message is hopeful, and amazing. I'm grateful for the 'disruptions' I've experienced because it's opened the door to look at the source of my pain and heal. In doing this I am breaking the cycle of trauma. I've come into contact with my inner most self through this healing process and I wouldn't give that up for anything.

I have a telephone consultation with a newly assigned psychiatrist tomorrow. I live in the UK and have to rely on what the national health services provide. I have no money for private treatment.
I feel, at least, better equipped to present for consultation with this person.
I feel exhausted. Your videos have helped me a great deal since discovering them a few days ago.

I'm sorry but the video contents fail to emphasise the topic displayed in the video title. instead it presents a list discussing Ace test. The actual list should have been about all the long-term effects seen in complex PTSD such as the the way stress manifests into physical chronic health problems eg. migraines, etc. And also the discussion should have been directed at how the increasing cortisol during childhood can affect brain development and damage the hippocampus in our areas of the brain that end up leading to the health problems later on in life

Agreed. It’s not what I was expecting. I’m searching for a video of what everyday life entails for a cptsd sufferer. I want something to compare myself to is what I trying to do as this isn’t useful to me. But it was educational.
