Thank you so much. As am American, I’ve had to take my health care in my own hands over my lifetime due to lack of access to good care.
So it’s been ALOT of internet searching, book reading, and youtube. This is the second video of yours I’ve watched today and I’m so grateful for the simple, effective, and well-sourced information. I also appreciate the small amount of personal disclosure that was particularly helpful for me.
    Thank you. Peace.

It’s vital to understand that flashbacks are not always “memories” in the conventional sense. As noted, emotional flashbacks are common. I don’t know what most of my triggers are, but I know the feelings and emotions that result from encountering those triggers. It’s exhausting both living through and trying to avoid those triggers. After years, I feel little beyond complacency and fatigue.

I have complex -ptsd, major depression and anxiety and ocd. Having complex-ptsd isn't fun. Having a emotional flashback while I'm awake is a regular thing. I also have nightmares. I don't sleep that good at night. I was on high alert mode from 7 years old to 45 years old because of the abuse I went through. I've been through every kind of abuse you can think of. I try to avoid anything or anyone who is a trigger to me. Living with complex-ptsd is a daily fight and a true struggle. I'm an introvert a lone wolf by nature and character. I don't trust easily because of the traumatic events and traumatic things that I have been through. I also lived in unhealthy bad environments. It's a daily struggle and fight for me.

YOUR VOICE not only held my attention, but I realized about halfway through that I hadn't bren reading comments or searching for other videos. Also, my muscles were relaxed which is rare because I'm almost always in a state of high tension physically, mentally, & emotionally. Thank you. ☺ Subscribed. ✔

For those hoping to heal from Narcissistic Abuse, I strongly recommend the book "Letting Go: A Pathway of Surrender" by Dr. David Hawkins.

I wish mine would engage on that level. She just claims to “understand” while criticizing me for my weakness. It’s demeaning, demoralizing, and destructive.
