I have just started walking at 72 years old. I had to slow the pace but the workout was easy to follow and I’ll be using this to improve my fitness. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I was holding on whilst walking on my treadmill. After watching your video I now go twice as fast and walk without holding on. You gave me the confidence to do better.😊
Margaret did this today. While I’m not new to exercising I did just purchase a treadmill and found your video and did it this am. I appreciate this very much and found your video very helpful. Looking forward to doing this twice a week as suggested.
Thank you for this video. I will be bringing you with me on my treadmill walk. It will help me pace myself. I’m a semi beginner walking on a treadmill .Your videos are very informative and I enjoy working them out . Thank you for all your help.
I am 59. I start my mornings with a 30 min brisk walk on my treadmill at 3.2 with a 2 min slow walk before and after. I start and end with the the suggestions as per your videos on walking. The post stretch always feels sooooo good.
I was walking on my treadmill on at a good clip and I stopped abruptly, then I got a really bad painful chest squeezing episode. I got scared and called my doctor and he told me when walking on the treadmill I needed to slow the speed down and walk a few slow minutes before stopping not to stop abruptly, bad for the heart. Lesson learned! 🙄
Hello great video, Can you please tell me what type of shoe are you wearing to walk on the treadmill. What brand is it? Thank you Margaret taking care of us!
Hello. Thank you for your video but do have a question. I just bought a treadmill from Life Pro called the Swift. My primary use for the treadmill is for good walking exercise and running. So I am wondering if you have anymore walking treadmill workout videos or if more are to come. There are so many other treadmill videos but they often lead to more running workouts instead of good walking exercise. Now I don't know if your treadmill has incline but mine doesn't. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Jessica 😊
I am 72 I suggest hold onto the bars or handles at different stages,in case, the foot gets caught by the rolling belt. But walk on a gradient of 10 snd speed of 3.5 kph for 60 minutes Then gradually increase the variables After4 months, i lost my love handles and huge chunk of belly fat Now i wear a weighted vest at 15 kg, incline 13%, pace 5.2- 5.5 kph for 10 km every day I must do the 10 km daily as it is now a habit!!
Me again whilst I am here I walk 30 minutes a day on my treadmill, I now discover that I am doing it all wrong, holding on and posture. My question is would it be a harmful benefit to walk for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 in the afternoon?
I created this (weight bearing) treadmill workout for seniors and beginners. Give it a try!

Is 12-3-30 Workout good for middle-aged men/women?
I definitely hold on to the treadmill, because I have fallen on the treadmill before. I always hold on with one hand.
