Very interesting video and informative. I built an 8 by 6 foot shed with 2 external runs and ramps. Happy bunnies.

Thanks just going to get a couple bunnies, picked up a used dog kennel for outside and going to put a wire roof for hawk and owl protection, also thought I should bury some wire mesh for digging predators

Remember the space requirements and give them shelter from the rain. I have fencing on the ground so they don't dig. Let me know how it goes!!

Thank you. I'm getting ready to build an even better when I think. I needed something a little more sturdy and easier for me to harvest the poop and give them food.

How do you keep your bugs away from your bunnies? Being on the ground like they are. Great video beyond that.

I've only got one in-house bunny but he's a dwarf so he's little. My meat rabbits are all on my back porch.

Different systems work for different folks. I have my does running in the backyard right now. The bucks are locked up. It's what works right now. :)

Rabbits live longer if they live inside and it's more beneficial but this is a good setup :)

I have 8 bonded incredibly spoiled buns with a ton of beds, blankets, toys, chews, baskets etc. As long as you socialize with them get them fixed (due to cancer risk), lots of space, weatherproofing and a high quality diet they with thrive and love you mine all love coming up to me and sitting in my lap allowing me to pet them I've had 4 pass away (3 from old age at 12 and 13 and last last one passed away at 8 even with medical help and antibiotics as he had a bad infection in his foot when we rescued them) they only don't live a long really good life if you don't take really good care of them or spend time with them

How do you keep your buns from burrowing and getting out? 🤔 I totally love your bunny yard. I think it's great for the buns to have room to run. I have cages outside and I let my buns out of their hutches to run in the bun runs. It makes them very happy.

Your rabbits are adorable! But I do have one question, Are you bonded with your rabbits? Do they come to you when your around? Because living outside can create a since of separation and depressing relationship with your rabbits. Yes, they may have each other, but they will just accoicate you with the food lady, not anything else. Anyways have a good day!

We raised them inside for several months. They all still come to me and let me pet them but I don't know if that's only because I bring food or because they actually like me.

Ha! I saw it in a YT tutorial. He basically said whatever your top energy level is, double it for the camera because you lose so much on video. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for all the great advice but what about hawks, they can just fly in?

Rabbits on the ground get bugs then they die

18 months and no bugs. I put diatomaceous in the cages so that might help.
