    Actually water bowls are more natural and they cannot get enough water through a water bottle. Rabbits drink as much as a small dog, and if it is heavy enough, there’s no way for it to spill. A rabbit can go through GI stacis if they get dehydrated. I advise getting bowls

      Brynn Wiskochil Hi there! We refill the water bottles whenever it’s nearly empty (usually daily). The problem with water bowls is that sometimes they can spill if the rabbit accidentally knocks it over. But if water bowls work for you then go for it!

      Spacegymnast 11 meadow+Timothy is usually okay. Meadow has other edible contents sometimes like different grass or dandelions. If you can get it, the greener the better. Meadow hay can often help rabbits who eat too much pellets and not enough hay because the leaves are more attractive to them.

    1. Water bottles aren’t really necessary for rabbits to get enough water, as it can cause them dehydrated, and that there could be bacteria from the metal straw and the plastic material in them, and yes if the material of the bowl is plastic, then it will be more a lighter weight as it can tip over easily, but heavy metal bowls are more likely not to tip over, then a plastic Bowl would.
    2. If the woodshavings aren’t hardwood shavings, cause hardwood shavings are considered more likely safe for Rabbits as beddings.
    3. I don’t really recommend buying foods from pet shops, as most of them are just junk foods, which can easily upset they’re stomachs, instead you can shop through online in good rabbit care shops, and mostly the best type of hay for you’re Rabbits is timothy hay and timothy pellets, but don’t overfeed you’re rabbits hay, if they’re adults you should consider giving them a 1/4 cup of pellets to they’re diets.
    4. Corner litter boxes aren’t the best for you’re Rabbits to use, because corner litter boxes has a very small space for you’re rabbits to turn a 50° turn, and to set up you’re liter box, there should be beddings (it’s best to research on what kind of bedding is good for you’re rabbits) and put a bunch of hay in they’re liter boxes, while they can munch on them while doing they’re business.
    These are all the things to remind some of you’re mistakes, and this isn’t mean’t to be anything mean towards you, but just to remind you that next time, but not only for you, but for others aswell to make sure of those mistakes, and yes we all make mistakes (even i did) but we can all try to cover up those mistakes :)

    This is bad rabbit care, teaching rabbit owners false facts. Never use a water bottle unless you really have to, it dose NOT give enough water to the bun bun. Also that littler box is way to small, try a large cat litter box. Sorry if this sounded rude, but I think if your making a rabbit care video you should atleast care for the rabbit correctly.

    I don't mean to sound like a hater but use heavy glass bowls instead of bottles because believe me or not rabbits drink as much water as a dog does plus water bottles will get bacteria on the part were they drink from them and on the inside walls of a bottle. Also don't put wood shavings or anything like that because it will be confused and not know were its litter pan is. Also NEVER get that small of a litter pan. The rabbit should be able to do a full 360 spin so get the litter pan that's big enough for a cat and give your rabbit lots of hay and exercise. AND when they have there litter pan give them a thing were they can eat hay and use the litter can at the same time so they need to be right next to each other

Second, how do you keep their house from getting muddy? Third, our bunnies always get dirty and get stuff stuck on them, how do you prevent that? That’s it!

    • @handheldgamesystem

      Hello! I know im not the creator of this video but I hope I can help :) You cannot prevent a rabbit from digging holes as they’re natural instinct is to build burrows. However you can add a fleece carpet underneath your cage for them to get to the dirt , it won’t get muddy as long as you put the thermal cover on while raining as it can protect the whole cage , third it’s really just a matter of cleanliness , you can brush them if it bothers you but they do groom each other . Hope this helped :D

      Angie froyo I realize that they do just fine outdoors! I live in the cities so it doesnt get as bad as the country side, however I did buy a mosquito net and a tarp to cover the hutch anyways just in case. Helped a lot!

    You shouldn’t use a water bottle as a rabbit can drink the same amount of water as a small dog and you can’t get much water out of water bottles

    A hutch is not enough, and sawdust has been linked to respiratory and liver disease in rabbits and small mammals.

  • @saraidempsey3152
    @saraidempsey3152 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Dont use the water bottles unless you want your rabbit to be dehydrated. Those dont allow the bun enough water- use a water bowl for your rabbits. Also your bunny shouldnt be outside in temperatures lower than 15°C (they are quite susceptible to hypothermia).
    Also I highly recommend free roaming your rabbits if you can- no animal likes cages (causes depression and anxiety in a lot of animals... and humans too! Lol) and it's really rewarding to watch your bunnies jump around and play. Dont feed alfalfa to bunnies older than 8 months (it's not good for them) and DO NOT use pine or cedar chips with your bunny (its toxic for them).

    honestly, in my opinion, its not good to keep bunnies outdoors at all, because even if u have a secure cage or area for them, they can still end up getting out some how, and get eaten by something to injure themselves really badly, and if that doesn't happen, something can end up getting IN the cage. Also hutches and cages are not the best either because it gives no space for them to run.

    • @Bee-ly4gx
      @Bee-ly4gx 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree with you. They also need to binky and it’s something looks a height of 3 foot they need for that. My rabbits only have a hutch for letting themselves in and out of as it is inside and they free roam.

  • @nihako_3997
    @nihako_3997 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Okay okay okay.....this video is so wrong 😂
    1. Bunnies shouldn't have woodshaving for flooring
    2. Bunnies drink A LOT of water and water bottles just don't give enough water to them (bottles can leave bunnies dehydrated)
    3. Litter boxes should be bigger than that and have a LOT LOT LOT of Timothy hay in them
    4. Hutches tend to be too small for rabbits to do zoomies or run around
    Sorry but this is all just the hard truth. I don't mean to be rude but if anyone sees this please look up more on bunnies before getting one because they are very fragile and high maintenance
