Dead short or inappropriate gauge of wire, or extra resistance will melt the wire. Dead short is self explanatory and so is too small of gauge wire for the current in the wire. Extra resistance can be caused by several reasons. A stuck switch powering the gear shift actuator or hydraulic diverter valve (im not familiar with the forklift's systems). A stuck switch can be as simple as resting your hand on the gearshift which causes accidental powering of the circuit when not needed, heating the wire. Mud, dirt rust, on an actuator and its connecting parts like linkages or a failing actuator can cause excessive current cooking the wire. Loose wire or wire end crimps cause heat. Just some ideas to checkout. My guess your hand resting on the shifter.
Hello friends of beekeepers, I am a person who loves beekeeping more than any other job and I have worked for almost 10 years in beekeeping. I am looking for a job.🐝🐝🐝
Hey Phil when you got this unit to Canada was there any extra duty or import fees you has to pay? Or was the price you negotiated with the company your final cost?
Maybe the Chinese manufacturer doesn’t want to disclose the wiring diagram, because then it would be too obvious to the IP lawyers in their target markets that they ripped off somebody else’s design? 😂
Here in Australia we have a saying; If it's got tits or tyres, it's gonna give you trouble.
That must be so frustrating >.< I know very little about electronics and I would be at a loss, glad you had someone who can help.
We are back up and running.
Hope you have i solved. Lucky you didn’t fry anything more expensive than wires.
Yeah. Gave it a good workout today and all good.
Can you give us a tour of the shed
Good idea.

We got it fixed.

I was responsible for import duties. Price I paid to manufacturer was fob dock in Vancouver. I paid import and shipping from there.

I doubt the wiring diagram is proprietary.
