Oregon Coast Albacore Fishing "Blood Brothers" (July, 18th 2024)

- Our first tuna rip of the year, and the first trip having our brother Isaiah out with us. The south wind prediction was off per usual, so we got thrown around a bit, but we left them biting with 23 on deck, and a handful lost to the depths.
We headed Northwest to where we had scouted, but the water temp was 56 / 57 degrees. Now we know there were probably fish holding in that temp, but we continued well past the 125 line only to see the temp drop after a quick rise to 59 degrees. We went back to that spot and dropped lines only to hook up before all lines were out. It was consistent from there. We had a blast in not so ideal conditions. Lots of water drops and foggy lenses, but hey, it's the pacific ocean.

Looked like a blast, I've never got on a jig bite but hoping so this year. Loved the drone footage, looks like you almost lost it with that bigger wave.
Yeah! It went completely under water and somehow we got it back. What was odd is that we had two drones and both were pretty much uncontrollable on this trip. Something was up! Made for a cool perspective shot though as it went rogue. BTW - Really enjoy all your content!

hell yeah, anytime we get into them we are excited. We had a new guy on the boat, so there was no better sound than that reel going off! We ended will 110lbs of loins, so those peanuts add up.
Is that a northriver Seahawk what model and love model and engine size looks like it handles good love the video sub especially live the tuna vids
Yeah, it's a Seahawk 25' Hard Top model. On days like this one we could use a little more bow, but it does pretty awesome!
