Tip: An easier way to select multiple items is to make your box from lower right to upper left. When done this way, all features that the box crosses are included in the selection. When going from upper left to lower right, the box needs to completely surround features for them to be selected.
I was lookin in to doin that when I get my enclosure and other items for my D1 setup, so thank you, PS I ordered the no mod air assist and it's already has been shipped :) cant wait to set it all up

I am planning on building a simple enclosure using your recommendations on a FB post. My question, how does your camera work with an enclosure box? Amazing tutorial Cobey! Floored by the efficiency of this method. One question, when we're going to set up the virtual jig, the circles from your earlier coasters were already there and you added a design for alignment. Is there a keystroke or button clicked for making these templates? Noticed their different colors too.
What I do is create the virtual jig, then save the project. This allows me to recall it over and over. The colors are the various layers. For a virtual jig, putting the material outline on layer T1 or T2, which are tooling layers. Tooling layers frame only, nothing else.
Assuming no leg extensions are being used, just the stock feet, 13" height. View is the entire engraving area for a standard size D1 series machines (no rail extensions).
Yes, but some limitations. The upright needs to be lowered about an inch, and no leg extensions can be used. This is why I don't go for tight fitting enclosures - they're too limiting

I'm putting together a full kit - camera (no case needed) and mount to attach the camera to the D1. The camera I'm planning to use is a 16MP, compared to the 8MP and 5MP versions Lightburn offers.
Some questions: Where is the camera kit available from? Will the version looking down on working area as in the video work with the xtool enclosure? Is the kit available for international customers?
