Glad to finally re-visit this game after 5 years and produce a much better recording of it. Not has the quality improved a lot, I've also managed to optimize the run quite heavily. Whilst it's unlikely to be the most optimized way of beating the game, it should be atleast good enough for walkthrough purposes. The public seems to have split opinions when it comes to Banjo Kazooie vs Banjo Tooie and which is the better of the two. I *personally* prefer Kazooie over Tooie because I like the rather small stages that are easy to familiarize yourself with. I do however very much dislike the fact that Music Notes reset everytime you leave a stage. This becomes particularly annoying in Rusty Bucket Bay and Tick Tock Wood, both of which are stages where it's very easy to die at certain points meaning you'll have to re-collect all of the Music Notes. Fortunately, it's not necessary to collect all 100 notes in every stage to beat the game, but for longplay purposes I felt compelled to do so anyway. What's even better is that they decided to fix this "issue" in the X360 re-release as the notes *do not* reset in that version making the game a hell of a lot easier. Anyway, amazing game overall

Don’t have one of those doohickeys lol. But I run it these days on a regular Xbox live arcade version #263 on the leaderboards which my record is 3:35:32. Same playthrough though. Plus I’ve done it before on N64 a couple times before. The key is each world has a routine from one step to another to make the world go by quick. With the knowledge of the worlds, I can tackle the first 7 worlds in less than 20 minutes (Click Clock Wood in a half hour).

Banjo should use a orange warp cauldron from the hidden tunnel in Click Clock Wood entrance to the pipe under Clanker's Cavern entrance to get to the Click Clock Wood picture quickly.
You should print the List of Questions From Grunty's Furnace Fun and Facts About Gruntilda from your computer, so you can get a correct answer on all the boards.
