Here’s an interesting tidbit: There’s been plenty of animal buddies in the whole trilogy, but only two in particular have been in all three games: Squawks and Enguarde.
The first DK game looked so advanced for 1994! The entire game and the artwork have great CGI for its time, and it was a year before Toy Story came out! They really pushed the SNES to the limit here with the graphics! ❤❤

In Jungle Hijinxs, there's a hidden 3 up. You go to the top of the cave (I do it with Rambi) and you should eventually be bouncing on a hidden tire. If not go get Rambi. You hop off him to the hidden tire then jump up and a barrel cannon blasts you and there's your 3 up.

It was better than Sonic and Mario Bros in every way imaginable and honestly, I didn't think it could be topped but then 1:46:56 happens and nothing was the same for me...DKC2 is was and will always be my favorite video game of all time.
I wish someone could make a Yoshi's Country based on DKC2 but have Yoshi in place of Diddy Kong and make another Yoshi in place of Dixie. Although if the Yoshi's Story sprites were used. Yoshi could make that "woo, woo woo" when knocking on the barrel inside when trapped in a DK barrel. But be able to ride Rambi, Engarde, Cleetus? (That spider thing) and the Snake like Diddy Kong can. Keep the Forest and the Bramble level music in the game as per the original but this would be perfect to name the mod as "Yoshi's Country".

I've seen in some videos the person passing under him when he jumps, but I can't do it at all. I always end up bumping into him and dying. Can someone help me? I've been stuck on this for months.
That DKC Rareware intro is iconic. Hard to imagine this trilogy is pushing 30 years! Can still remember playing them as a kid.

pretty sure that playing DKC3 in TUFST will give you the full 105%, playing regularly will give you 103%. i could be wrong however
