I just bought this exact car, the one that was used in this video. The original owner won it in the giveaway. Part of my motivation for buying it was watching this video. I didn't realize it was this exact car until I went through the paperwork and saw the history of the giveaway.
This is my ''new'' favorite car channel. No ''poser'' crap, just straight no B.S. reviews from real car guys that had shitty jobs in order to buy cars and motorcycles. Love the warped sense of humor.
This video is 5 years old, but I love it for the same reason I love almost all of their videos. They slowly found their niche and then leaned into it heavily. They're not just vague reviews of looking at the car, hearing the dealership spec sheet, and then driving it. We get to hear about the mechanics of the vehicle, the thought process that went into it, and even discussion with the manufacturer about how it came to be.

Love u SG, This video is how i discovered your channel last year. 2 week later I placed my order and painstakingly waited constantly coming back to this video. Took delivery last month & I'm so in love with every aspect of the car. I owned a Hellcat Widebody before and this ZLE & is just far superior mechanically the speeds you can take corners on is down right mind blowing. Thanks for making amazing content i watch every new release you all do.
Alex Kaseta definitely, corvettes have a much better weight distribution, suspension, and are lower to the ground. Corvettes have been designed for the race track since day one.
@@weilandcock Yes, Corvettes have been race oriented since their origins (or at least when Zora Duntov took over shortly after). i'm just going to flat out say it. You are the best CAR REVIEWER on any platform! Matt Farah does great one takes, Chris Harris is an excellent entertainer and driver, but you are the best at extensive reviews. You should be very proud of the work you have put in, your videos are excellent and never feel as long as they actually are
To be fair, that's all information that's in the owner's manual and press releases. To >99% of viewers, that's just a bunch of boring information that they don't care about. Technical car guys will enjoy this (I watched the whole thing), but MOST car people are just going to skip to the driving part. Other reviewers simply tailor their videos to a larger audience. It's not necessarily that they don't know or aren't privy to the same detailed tech info. I do love that savagegeese shows the weight distribution, though. That's probably my favorite part of his videos.
I have to agree with you on that one, however, there are few "car reviewers" that I simply cannot stand. There are people who do simple, easy-to-understand reviews and there are people who make complete crap.
@@timurg3377 I'm doing these in 1.25x-1.5x and realtime for the driving segments. That I'm not going 1.75x is a compliment to the richness of his presentation. I actually need the time to take it all in. Especially the shoppe segment.
I JUST bought one. A 2018 ZL1 1LE with 9k miles... 6 speed... all the bells and whistles.. This is by far the best review of this car. Touched on all the best points. It is truly a BEAST of a car and a pleasure to drive. When i signed the deal on it I knew I had joined hallowed ground.
I own a Crush Orange 2019 ZL1 1LE and this review is pretty close to SPOT on. It is an absolute Monster on the track and on the street. I drive mine in the summer on Cleveland roads which are pretty much crap, if your careful and avoid potholes the ride isn't remotely as bad as the reviewer makes it out to be. If you've driven a sports car of any type with coil overs that's what you can expect. I've had this car for 13,000 hard driven miles, both road course and street and yet EVERY time I get behind the wheel a develop a grin a mile wide that doesn't leave my face till I park it. I honestly believe that this car will be the one I'm buried in.
Just finished the video; excellent! Your reviews don't fuck around man. No one is on your level. My favorite part of your videos are underneath the car. No one else does this and to the detail that you do. I don't know what else to say except that your coverage of this car is perfect and thank you! Job well done!
I remember the moment when I subscribed to this channel. It was when I saw his review of the V90 and he talked about how there was powdercoating on every. single. part. of the undercarriage to prevent rust in the winter months on long road trips - and how that alone justified an increased price over other models. Living in Michigan, rust prevention and protection is crucial. Nobody - NOBODY - I had ever seen review a car had ever talked about OEM techniques for weatherproofing the underbody on a car ostensibly meant to be driven a lot in the winter. Glad to see his attention to detail has gotten even better since.
Uhh...yes and no. This video is far more thorough on the cars features, and especially on it's performance parts list. But MT goes into more detail about the cars driving feel at the limit, and gets actual numbers to compare it with other cars. That and MT's content is funny as well. But this video is very good. Well worth watching.
Joseph Adamo I would even dare to say "1,000,000,000 X's more more badder! SavageGeese shuttin stuff doooowwwwn! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.........STOP! That only took 2.4 sec my dude!
Scott is, in my humble opinion, one of the most non-biased, true tester I have ever watched and I thoroughly enjoy his and Save Goose productions. Great job guys!!
Never thought I'd say this for almost 3 decades, but: Ford and GM FINALLY elevated their pony cars into proper world-class 2+2 GT standouts. This includes the SS 1LE, also brilliant. Boss 302, CobraR and Z28 were almost there, but now the current top models are also decently-sorted; interior and chassis-wise, like never before. Here's to hoping that they made them relatively future-proof vs. most new cars reliance on 'computerized everything'.
Nah, not with that styling. The interiors, the cheapness in design and engineering. And they're not even that affordable anymore. They improved the performance to Japanese and European levels but thats about it. There's more to a proper GT than big HP numbers. Everyone can stick big sticky tires and a few spoilers to make a car fast. Especially nowadays. The engineering goes into how it feels, how predictable and how much in control it lets you in.
@@an-dr6eu which European cars or Japanese cars are you comparing it to? The interior is excellent and the styling, even though you don't like it, is almost universally loved. Plenty of engineering went into this- not just slapping on a spoiler
*"I for one like the wing painted, just like I like my toe nails painted, or else I feel nude"* I died, his dry, sudden, and self roasting humour gets me every time
Alejandro Escobar zl1 without the 1le ur talking about. You don’t need the aero to beat the zl1. It comes with thick tires in the rear they hook. And in a straight line it’s faster without the aero. The car is also lighter. Stiffer suspension. Would rather get that then a c7 z06 for the same price range
Best ZL1 video on TH-cam, good work, nice and Savage as usual! Love the honesty, it's what car reviews are all about. 43 minutes may be long for some, but this is cinematic quality here.
FlyinGato You said exactly what I intended to. On most channels they spend 5 minutes promoting themselves and 10 minutes on the product. Us gear heads want and appreciate the little details anyone can give the horsepower ratio.
For the first time in a long time a car scared me. When I drove one of these and romped on it, I was actually scared by the power it has. I have driven Tesla performance models but there's still nothing like a high horsepower engine. Especially when the engine sounds as good as the ZL1's Supercharged V8. Yes, I would buy this car and be scared. (:
fuck i love this car. aggresive functional styling, huge supercharged v8, manual gearbox, super wide tires, super awesome well designed infotainment system with a fucking CAMERA! i wish i could convince my friend this is better than the Z06 C7
I caught that! What fu**ing stud lol all power to ‘em. “Not manly?” Yeah share your car takes and try to make any sense compared to this master. Down with the gender stigmas.
Ive been subscribed for a year or so now and became a huge fan. Started watching your old videos.... thank you for adding Jack. It makes for a much more interesting watch especially @ the shop segments... if you know what I mean. No shade, just facts.
Please don’t ever hesitate because something is a “long explanation”...that’s what I’m here for dude...that’s what makes you the chosen one :P But seriously, the more you lean on your knowledge and share it the better these videos are, I’ll donate to TRI or whoever their name is just for that
I like this channel...but this guy adds what value besides lifting the car? I enjoy some of his humor, but mostly he just stands around and adds little to the quality of these videos.
Savageese currently has to the best car journalist out right now. This segment was over the top, but I’ve literally been captivated watching him review cars like a Honda Pilot or a Mazda 3 neither of which I had any interest in driving or purchasing. This guy should have his own Netflix series. I would be even interested in seeing him do something like a Ted talk.
So this is my take on the 🎊CAMARO🎊 The look is 2nd to none love all the gummy’s you get with this trim level and I am from Germany 🇩🇪 so I love tracks with turns. Roads with a lot of turning. The fact that Chevy offers this with forced induction as many other of their vehicles is really swaying me to get either a zl1-1le or a c6 or c7-z06 . And I’m a fan of Ford. I love that of the torque is right on the level of the horsepower.
31 minutes in and I'm still enthralled by the amount of technical knowledge and tidbits being thrown at me. This is the sort of shit I want to hear when I'm looking at a car for its technical merits and performance, if I want a useless puff piece by hack 'reviewers' giggling insanely in the car as they press the go pedal then I will go elsewhere. Otherwise, this is where it's at - best review yet.
Most people are just herd followers and the majority of viewers are young, they are not able to discern high quality from mediocre stuff. Those people that watch the bs channels you named want flashy idiot-entertainment, not hyper quality, critical car-journalism.
But Porker might be getting rid of his lambo and I have to find out what he is going to replace it with. Plus I like the butt candy when Porkers girlfriend makes an appearance.
You KNOW the videos are good when you watch an entire 40 minute review of a car you'll never buy for entertainment. I can't believe he has less than 100k subscribers.
I grew up in Illinois. I escaped from the cold, awful, straight, pot hole roads. Now I live near the Smokies and any of these world class muscle cars are too much for the narrow twisty mountain blacktop roads! Heck, my Boxster is too much car! You acknowledged that this is the better, higher quality interior over the Mustang, and the GT350R is awesome, but if the 1LE is too much, there must be five other Camaro packages to chose from over the Mustang, unless trunk space and visibility are high on your list. Z28, ZL1 (non 1LE), SS, etc.
I truly enjoy your reviews. It's so important to have a real car enthusiast with vast knowledge that can really explain everything we need to know in great detail. No other channel does it like you do. I am in the market soon for 3 of the cars you reviewed and it's the only channel that gives me what I need to help make a decision. Thank you
A 44m SG video, and a chance to win the car. My Wednesday just got so much better. As the brother of someone with Downs, and a Vet I really appreciate you linking up with Tri Industries. Thanks for your video work and your help with these groups.
If they do a review on the Aztek I'll turn the video off and listen to the review, afraid I will get a headache watching that car for more than 3 minutes! :)
The lack of as fake over-the-top personality aka Demuro, Donut and others gives me a good feeling. A real human being did this review! He's someone I could meet and within five minutes be into an intelligent and serious conversation about real stuff. It's the no-bling, no-gags review, and I love it.
The fact that he spoke about the yellow corvettes, I remember, to this day, what they sounded like at Laguna Seca and I share that with my wife on occasion. It was nice to be able to show her this clip at 20:30 and go, “See! Its not just me who remembers!” Thanks for the memory confirmation.
I built a car from scratch with performance similar to this but sold it for several reasons: endless frustration at always being behind slow traffic, constant risk of tickets, unable to stretch its wings on the street, being afraid to damage it on-track, expensive to insure, and knowing that every mile I put on it was driving its value down. Okay, so many owners don't care about that, and therein lies another issue: Who exactly is the target audience? I mean, can you actually get one of these out the door for anywhere near MSRP, let alone find one? Who has ~$80K to spend on something meant for the track and can stomach balling it up? I'm glad for whoever can afford one and who has the deep pockets to not care if they damage it!
As a mustang guy, I can't help but to give complete and utter respect for this car. It's an absolutely gorgeous and phenomenal car. If ever my wallet could accomodate a car in this price range, it would be very hard to choose between this or the Shelby GT350.
@kragseven wow how cool are you? DRAG RACING ain't nothin. Next you be saying how cool driving an oval is Go Nascar! Derp DE derp! And ps. Nobody gives a shirt about what you did all night.
The problem with a GT350 is that it's not a street car. Everyone will try to race you and the car is seriously lacking in low-end torque, which translates into embarrassment unless you're already at speed.
@@pr01fessional I guess most Mustang's and in general any brand of car will do that to you if you don't know your car good enough but if you look at the Ford GT in the 24Hr Le Man's it has set record podium standings no GM car's can ever do! Now that's a history fact that GM cars can't do in the Le Man's by showing up in 1966 winning all 3 podiums and 2016 1'st & 2'nd and 4'th!
@@peterpeters4111 Everyone who follows the American LeMan series knows what happened in 2016. It was the anniversary for the Ford GT being at Le Man and all the other cars in the GTLM class were handicapped with additional weight and air restrictors. This was intentional to give the Ford's a major competitive advantage. Don't believe me? Find the videos on-line and see what the Corvette drivers, Aston Martin drivers and Porche drivers said and didn't say. It's obvious it was rigged. Do you know that every year that the Ford GT has been back in the Series that Corvette has won the championship? Yep, it's true. Also, Corvette racing has been the dominant team for the past 15 years. No other manufacturer has won more races, drivers championships, team championships and manufacturers championships in that span of time then Corvette. So while I'm impressed with what Ford did back in the 60's....totally impressed, what Corvette has been doing is even more impressive.
"If you want some fluff video that's a giant advertisement for this car, look elsewhere, because we're gunna get pretty in-depth on this." Sounds like I'm in the right place then.
This is my first time watching a video from this channel, and I am very impressed. The content is stimulating, the information is accurate and concise and I felt apart of the production. I find it difficult to ascertain opinions from these TH-cam ‘gurus’, and this channel just set the bar comparatively high. Good shit.
I’ve watched this video so many times I’ve lost count but the thing that always gets me is the angle at which 34:44 was shot at, the down shift and the cornering just boggles my mind on how responsive and tight the car is
I am absolutely floored. Best and most thorough review I’ve seen for some time. You guys are amazing. I hope all of your content takes off like this badass ride. Thank you so much.

Isn't "The Slow Lane" those two douchebags who every single car they test gets a 0-60 score seconds slower than the rest of america, and they blame it on altitude, no matter what kind of car it is.
You lose about .8% of the oxygen in the air, every 1000' of elevation you gain. Sorry, but it's science. Effectively, a N/A engine will lose roughly 3% of its effective crank HP, per 1000'. A N/A car in Denver is down 15% in HP. This becomes very evident in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. 42% power loss at the peak. That's why any team that takes hill climbing seriously chooses forced induction, to minimize the power loss.
best review of a car I have ever seen. I own an SS - I am biased towards the car - but this dude gets into specifics like no one else I have ever seen on youtube. it wasn't an ad - it was a review.
This is truly an excellent review. I own a 2019 SS equipped with the 1LE handling package, and it is a phenomenal vehicle! GM produces a lot of junk, but this is one of those rare offerings from GM that demonstrates the company is capable of producing world-class vehicles.
This video will grow your chest hairs. As soon as I finish my vegan power bar, I'm going to my Chevy dealer for one of these and trade in my Prius. Folks, we're in the Golden Age of automobiles!
You do everything I want a car reviewer to do, and I know even then you have to cut so much footage to get to a reasonable amount of time. Thanks for the effort of checking out the underpinnings, explaining the platform history, pointing out unique suspension components, etc. Not to mention the best photography of any TH-cam channel.
@STREET SHARKS BEDFORD POINT yes the zl1 1le has more power but track wise they are pretty close ! of course it depends on the tracks , but when i track my SS 1LE , i keep up with the zl1s and supercars , you don't need that much power to be fast around corners .
I loved the content of your videos as it is, but the quality of it felt like I was watching Top Gear really top notch and especially that intro. I can tell you giving it everything to make this a great quality video.
I've been totally watching the wrong channels! This is only the second savagegeese video I've watched, and it is light-years above and beyond any other car channel out there (unless the two videos I've watched were somehow total anomalies, but I doubt it). This guy does full disclosure, and I appreciate that. He gives honest opinions. He gives ten times more detailed information than other channels do. He covers every aspect I want to know about. I'm actually engaged with the video the entire time I'm watching it. I'm 59 years old, lower income, and recovering from heart surgery, so there's no way I'll ever be able to afford one of these, and yet aside from being so informative, this video stands on its own as a highly interesting piece of entertainment. As much as I've always loved cars, it blows my mind that TH-cam has somehow managed to keep a channel this good from showing up in my recommendations up until today. Seriously, I'm getting much-needed real joy from watching these, and the best part is that I've only just begun. This channel makes me happy!
I have to say that I've been watching as many ZL1 1LE reviews as there is on youtube and from far this video is the best. This is a complete in-deep review of a car. Thanks for that hard work to bring me such valuable information. I really appreciate it. I would appreciate the 2022 Challenger Hellcat Redeye, 2018 Challenger Demon, 2022 GT500 CFTP, and the GT350R.
Just get an SS 1LE. Just as capable, less likely to kill you, and significantly less likely to forcibly remove your fillings/caps. And save $40k with the same V8 goodness (just less of it). It’s the bargain of the 2010s
Great video and input. I am a current GT350 owner who has had one car replaced due to two motor issues. The replacement vehicle has electrical gremlins that cannot locate. I may found found my next car.
HPDE Fun You know I feel like Ford and VW both expect the customer to just live with the poor R&D that gives reliability or lack of it. Arrogance? Similar in BMW too. Honda pulls same crap with interior refinement, noise, and poor ergonomics. GM can build awesome stuff. If these companies did grueling tests and showed the results, the buying public might trust them more.
So far, one of the most extensive reviewer, and i'm loving it. He just say what his opinion is and compare it to the actual competition which is really good (mustang etc) keep it up bro
Had to sign into my account in order to subscribe. After watching the whole ZL1 review I have to say this: It is a shame that there is a community of car reviewers that have over 1-2M subs and you're here with 226K(at the moment of this comment). Insanely meticulous as far as details go and that is what's missing out there. I have never sat down to watch a review >5mins that I enjoyed for every sec. And yours was 44mins! Huge respect for you. You got yourself a loyal subscriber. Definitely hitting that "bell" button too. The way you detail everything will probably get me watch even a Prius review. Thank you again for such a professional review.
Nice review, but I will ding it for a couple of points. When mentioning the small trunk opening and the limited visibility, it does need to be mentioned but with the comment that the small trunk opening AND the high window sills (which help give it a closed in feel) is what makes the chassis so rigid. Knocking the Camaro for these things is like saying "I wish the chassis didn't perform as wonderful as it does because I'd rather have a large trunk opening, or great SUV-like visibility. This is one case where you can't have your cake and eat it as well, and I wish more reviewers would acknowledge that what makes the Camaro great, is also what makes it a little difficult to live with. The second point I'll make is that I was told by a GM representative that the reason for the navigation screen being angled down was to keep sun glare down to a minimum, which is a pretty good solution. I'm sure an anti-glare coating might've also helped. Otherwise, very nice in depth review. I've had my ZL1 for about 5 months now and it always brings a smile to my face when I get behind the wheel.
I do love this channel, the review and how depth they go and the driving impressions is perfect they really get into and I feel like they give the best reviews
These videos and reviews are just getting better and better. Don't change a thing SavageGeese. You guys shit all over the rubbish we get in the UK on Top Gear and Grand Tour. This guy deserves way more subs and views then he's getting. Just a matter of time before your channel explodes buddy.

Question: First off you are probably the only reviewer that I trust who doesn't have any BS ulterior motive behind your reviews so for that thanks. I just bought a 2020 ZL1 1le A10 waiting for delivery - I have had just about every HP car on the market over the years so - I hear you on the tires and heard others say the same thing so what tires would you recommend (price not a problem) for this car for the street . Just get the 1LE Camaro SS.The regular SS 1LE has the track equipment and no super charger. Like you said, it's too much car. Love my 2014 1LE used 35K miles for 23K....I keep looking out the back for the guy I stole this from LOL It's spec is 426 hp and it's too much car, but I enjoy driving it conservatively. The gargles and pops. And the ride. What rides well in the city anymore anyway? My Camaro reminds me of my grandfathers Cutlass S, large heavy and VERY smooth on the highway. In fact, I would argue the Camaro is one of the best highway rides out here. Even better than Cadillac. Reminds me of my dads big old V8's as a kid far as ride. It is rough in town but, it's worth the better cruising on the highway....i love my Camaro

A Dream Wouldn’t it technically be Mr. Geese lol
EUROCARGUY Just say Doug DeMuro.
This is a 45 minute video that I don't feel dragged on forever.
took me, 23 minutes to watch the whole thing, 2x playback ftw.
Crazy how actually good journalists do that to you.
J P so true
And he doesn't try to sell you ballsack powder, chinese watches or anything
J
J P the same can be said for Regular Car Reviews.
Exactly what brought me here
dam i remember that too! its really been almost 5 if not over 5 years since i started watching geese dam time flies
1000x better than motor trends review on this vehicle
Uhh...yes and no. This video is far more thorough on the cars features, and especially on it's performance parts list.
But MT goes into more detail about the cars driving feel at the limit, and gets actual numbers to compare it with other cars. That and MT's content is funny as well.
But this video is very good. Well worth watching.
No Adam, MT's review is shallow and unfunny.
Maybe you are strung too tightly.
Joseph Adamo I would even dare to say "1,000,000,000 X's more more badder! SavageGeese shuttin stuff doooowwwwn! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.........STOP! That only took 2.4 sec my dude!
MT compared the 350R with this and favored the 350R. MT also uses a pro driver for the track comparison.
Scott is, in my humble opinion, one of the most non-biased, true tester I have ever watched and I thoroughly enjoy his and Save Goose productions. Great job guys!!
"Save Goose"? Look more closely at the name. smgdh
I own regular zl1. And this car put a big smile on my face every time i drive it.
The production of these videos are insane. Getting better by the video.
crazy cinematography
Never thought I'd say this for almost 3 decades, but:
Ford and GM FINALLY elevated their pony cars into proper world-class 2+2 GT standouts.
I can't believe it's finally happened.
Now they're axing the Camaro next year 😂
@@josefgordon7712 they've been saying that since 4 years ago

It is a pleasure to have someone knowledgeable go through cars ... it makes deciding which car to buy that much easier ...
6 years later, this is still the sexiest car in its class. Will go down as one of the best V8 American sports car in its class
US is getting all these cool cars for so cheap. Viper ACR, Vette, Mustang GT350R, Camaro. This is definitely the new golden era of sport cars.

@@cbtorture69 nah the acr beats it while being na lol
Alejandro Escobar for the zl1 1le just get the viper without the big wing. Still better. You can find one for 80k
@@Fumbiii16 i hear the 2013 up Viper has oil issues, messing up engines. A friend that owns a Viper told me, I didn't look it up.
@Mint Tech because he wants a comfy ride. Not a ride that will beat you up and leave marks that you will find in the morning lol
Best ZL1 video on TH-cam, good work, nice and Savage as usual! Love the honesty, it's what car reviews are all about. 43 minutes may be long for some, but this is cinematic quality here.
FlyinGato
You said exactly what I intended to. On most channels they spend 5 minutes promoting themselves and 10 minutes on the product.
Us gear heads want and appreciate the little details anyone can give the horsepower ratio.
exactly
It's like a real TV production quality and length review.
Agreed sir! Thanks for a great video fellas!
sup gato, been watching your videos
For the first time in a long time a car scared me. When I drove one of these and romped on it, I was actually scared by the power it has. I have driven Tesla performance models but there's still nothing like a high horsepower engine. Especially when the engine sounds as good as the ZL1's Supercharged V8. Yes, I would buy this car and be scared. (:
This is my dream car. Perhaps this has been one of the most educational car reviews I've watched yet.
fuck i love this car. aggresive functional styling, huge supercharged v8, manual gearbox, super wide tires, super awesome well designed infotainment system with a fucking CAMERA! i wish i could convince my friend this is better than the Z06 C7

Turbowski is back!
takes a hell of a car for him to drop by these days.
too bad, 'cause he's a drag on the video. i'd rather have the goose talk than that dufus.
it's a chevy...no way he's skipping this one.
I like this channel...but this guy adds what value besides lifting the car? I enjoy some of his humor, but mostly he just stands around and adds little to the quality of these videos.
A Marton Yeah. He’s awkward af to me
Savageese currently has to the best car journalist out right now. This segment was over the top, but I’ve literally been captivated watching him review cars like a Honda Pilot or a Mazda 3 neither of which I had any interest in driving or purchasing. This guy should have his own Netflix series. I would be even interested in seeing him do something like a Ted talk.
So this is my take on the
🎊CAMARO🎊
The look is 2nd to none love all the gummy’s you get with this trim level and I am from Germany 🇩🇪 so I love tracks with turns. Roads with a lot of turning. The fact that Chevy offers this with forced induction as many other of their vehicles is really swaying me to get either a zl1-1le or a c6 or c7-z06 . And I’m a fan of Ford.
I love that of the torque is right on the level of the horsepower.
Well there's something you don't see everyday. The camaro doesn't get picked because it's too good. 😳🙀
😂😂😂 over my ass!!! WTF!!
Amazing isn't it, but oh well if they pick a car that has inferior build quality that's on them. As for me the camaro. GM ALL THE WAY 😎
31 minutes in and I'm still enthralled by the amount of technical knowledge and tidbits being thrown at me. This is the sort of shit I want to hear when I'm looking at a car for its technical merits and performance, if I want a useless puff piece by hack 'reviewers' giggling insanely in the car as they press the go pedal then I will go elsewhere. Otherwise, this is where it's at - best review yet.
My man called it the “Go pedal”
Savagegeese is the best automotive reviewer on the planet. Stop watching bullshit channels like Porker or Hunt and support Savage!
Most people are just herd followers and the majority of viewers are young, they are not able to discern high quality from mediocre stuff.
Those people that watch the bs channels you named want flashy idiot-entertainment, not hyper quality, critical car-journalism.
Thank you!
team up with Davide Cironi they'd rule the interwebs
I could watch a goddamn movie of him reviewing a Pontiac Aztek
If they do a review on the Aztek I'll turn the video off and listen to the review, afraid I will get a headache watching that car for more than 3 minutes! :)
The Aztec is the ugliest vehicle ever built.....making it impossible to forget.
You know, that would actually be really interesting.
Billy Kay lmao
Billy Lee that would be the funniest video
Only goose can make a 40+ min video feel like it was under 10 min. Great stuff
Seriously, I thing the gander is great but his voice puts me to sleep. Great content, but.....
Its not just me who remembers!”
Thanks for the memory confirmation.
Your production value just goes up and up - THANK YOU for all of your hard work!!!
I respect the shit out of your unbiased approach.
Everything about this channel is underrated except for the amount of common saying this channel is underrated
I just picked my 2020 ZL1 1LE. I love it and it’s just badass! It ain’t overkill for me!
44 minute review NICE!
If you want to hit people please choose the mustang it will do it for you. If you want to actually stay on track and win the race... Camaro.
Good shit.
I’ve watched this video so many times I’ve lost count but the thing that always gets me is the angle at which 34:44 was shot at, the down shift and the cornering just boggles my mind on how responsive and tight the car is
The quality of your content is mind-blowing. To 100K and beyond!!!

Savagegeese, you put other youtube reviewers to shame, especially those two fools from TFL. Keep it up man!
Man..... I can't stand those goofs. YET people still watch them...….???
I stopped watching it when their kids took over on reviews

best review of a car I have ever seen.

Well...if you think the ZL1 is too much for you then just get a Super Sport. Plenty of power that can also get you in trouble if not responsible.
I had the ss, and traded it for the zl1 1le within 10 months. No power at all with the ss (track wise).
John Freeman LOL 455 hp is “no power at all”. Well, excuse us Chuck Yeager😂
@STREET SHARKS BEDFORD POINT yes the zl1 1le has more power but track wise they are pretty close ! of course it depends on the tracks , but when i track my SS 1LE , i keep up with the zl1s and supercars , you don't need that much power to be fast around corners .

SS ILE is not slow by any measure, with a 500 hp LT2 it would be near perfect
Best review of ZL1.
This team production quality is amazing. The in depth review is so helpful. Can't wait to eventually get one of this ZL1 once they're more affordable.
Just get an SS 1LE. Just as capable, less likely to kill you, and significantly less likely to forcibly remove your fillings/caps.

Had to sign into my account in order to subscribe. After watching the whole ZL1 review I have to say this:
It is a shame that there is a community of car reviewers that have over 1-2M subs and you're here with 226K(at the moment of this comment).

I have the exact same car including color. Love it, not for everyone. Have to say that the trunk space is not that bad and we really don't care once behind the wheel.
I'm getting a 2017 Gen 6 1LE 33K miles with the V6 next week. The price was right and 1LE are just hard to find.
