F-4 Phantom has to me my all time favorite aircraft. I don't exactly know why, it just seems like a remarkable airframe to me.

How can people who live near runways complain about the noise going on around them, but then again as a forces brat I was brought up with music like this, Phantoms, Vulcans, Jaguars, Harriers and more... Bliss!

This is the vid site man this was fun watching ! Yea it's one of the best places in the world just to watch all the jets and cargo planes come in for a lading God I love watching them and some time the pilots put on a great show. And just some time the pilots show you things you don't see in the air show .Dam theies guys are very very good. Yea if you can go go to see the best.

Recognized Polish Mig 29 with Tadeusz Kościuszko painting! Saw it on Tigers Meet 2018. I guess, few other guys from this cast as well.

When I lived in Swindon and Concorde was flight testing from Fairford I used to take the kids to a car park just by there. All provided by Fairford and they used to put up a notice showing times of arrival / departure. Even had a van that did not bad burgers!

I really do like watching planes, but 4:30 to 4:40 somehow was the most enjoyable part; wish there was more footage of that kind :-)

Its not the cockpit its the door to the turbofan

Glad to see that the public haven't now been prevented from viewing in the proximity of the flight path unlike at Yeovilton...
Yeah they got it spot on, they just handed everyone a leaflet advising you not to stand there, but south of the runway, so the aircraft are in front of you.
they'd only stand in the road if it was fenced off

I was stationed in k-town Germany while they still had the phantoms at ramstien airbase before they where taken out of service loud but beautiful loved them you had a bad day when they showed up if you where the enemy lol

Your at an airshow, and dont have airpluggs? then its your BIG mistake that you had to drop the camera.
Ketil Johansen I'm at an airshow to hear the noise, not pick up only 25% of it.
The photographs come second to the experience.

Yes the F-35B was loud, but you had 40K lb. thrust moveable nozzle pointed right at you. The other jets didn't have the ability to move their exhausts so they didn't point directly at the camera until well over the threshold.

Question, do you know if it was an F-15 Eagle or F-15E Strike Eagle?
One of the most amazing things I ever saw was a U2 perform a "Tiger" takeoff, roll about 1,200' down the runway and stand on its tail straight up till it was out of sight.
Those U-2 jets really do rocket up into the air with those huge glider-like wings.

bobsurgranny Wonder why they don't fly them? I had thought some of the aircraft on static display were just wheeled out of storage each year, including the phantoms!
