It could be 20K off and I would stay away just because of the reliability issues. I’m 70 years old and don’t need to be broke down in the middle of nowhere. But if you’re a gambler ya still got to know when to hold’em, know when to fold’em, know when to walk away and know when to RUN! You got to count your blessings every time you drive.
The local toyo dealer has $6k off 2024's. It's written in lipstick on the windshields. But 2025, no discount. And they don't really have that many. Even in more populated areas, for example cobb county toyota, they have 33 tundras in stock right now. That's not really all that many when you break it down, 5 or 6 per trim level. One in the color you want, they might have 1. Or not. People are apparently buying them and they just are not shipping that many.
At this point is it better to grab a f-150 or Silverado around 35k-40k for similar features or sometimes more features than a SR5? How are f-150 or Silverado resale values? Thanks in advance.
They are so-so. There's a lot more of them usually but at the moment, contrary to what you hear on TH-cam, they really aren't flooded with trucks that they can't sell. I was looking on carmax the past few weeks, most of they have 2023 or newer is already pending or reserved.
@HS24833 resale value is made at the purchase not at the end when you sale. Current daily used market determines used teuck values and is unknown 5 years from now. Bit the amount off msrp ypu get when you buy is where you gain real resale value. The big discount couples with money ypu don't have to pay interest on is much more value.
35 YEAR TOYOTA OWNER - NEVER A BREAK DOWN BUT THE TUNDRA AND TACOMA ILL WAIT A FEW MORE YEARS BEFORE BUYING ANOTHER ONE OR A 2023 !
I've noticed, at least in my area, my local dealers aren't posting on auto traders, you have to go to their websites.

Now they only cost $75,000 CDN
Would anyone pay these high prices if we couldn't finance them for 5 years +?
Great question.

The V8 will make a return. Go woke Go broke. Buyers don’t want and don’t ask for 6 cylinder turbos in their Toyotas with no option for a V8.
