Just negotiated 8,200 off the sticker for a nicely equipped Limited but walked away because I still think I can do better. Turns out the dealer sold the truck next day (and that's ok) because there are (still) others out there. Since this is most certainly a 'want' versus a 'need' I continue my hunt for the killer deal.
@@chrisjmiller6 10,000 seems impossible at this time, or so it seems based on the conversations with the dealers. Or they just do not want to give up their profits? 8,000 off the sticker was surprisingly easy; one could say way too easy…

Still wish I have some sort of assurance of predictive future like my old truck though. Well guess maybe it’s too much to ask for in today’s world.
@@sergioherrera2059 Hell any car especially in this economy is better paid off. A family in my church just showed up in a brand new minivan last year and paid over $55,000 for it at 9%! I couldn't believe it. That poor family will be paying on that note for 10 years.
Excellent video. I traded in my 2022 Limited for a 2024 Platinum and absolutely love it. The platinum and 1794 have a lot in common and the road noise is so much more quieter compared to the limited. Being a Toyota fan for a long time I can only hope for longevity with this truck. Before trading in my 2022 Limited I drove other manufacturers and after driving them something brought me right back to the Tundra. There is just something about the drive and feel of this truck compared to the others (personal preferences). Thanks for making these videos.

Do you know that engine in your truck in 2007 in 2008 was absolute trash sucking in valves in major recall. This stuff happens my friend they get it right and it’s fixed right now there are other examples of Toyota and every auto manufacturer. Have a nice day
For 80 grand I’m buying a GMC 2500 Denali there is enough incentives on all brands now they will work for a few thousand bucks to get they deal can’t see spending 80 grand on a truck with a little turbo v6
Hello from Alabama. Enjoy the channel! I have a 24 Limited Tundra and curious as to your thoughts on two items: 1) JBL...I've found that I prefer Surround Sound off. 2) Driving modes...I can't tell any MPG savings for Eco vs Normal, so I just run Normal all the time (and Sport when I want to have fun). Keep up the good content!
Glad that you are happy with your truck. I would consider doing an oil change now. A way to get the construction residue out of there and new cars have an excessive amount of silicone in the oil. Might even be worth it to your viewers and send the first oil change for oil analysis. Drive on brother. Love that interior!
Mark my 2024 Platinum did the same thing. Worked on and off when I first got it. Then I checked under the seat and found the plug was not in all the way. About a year ago I traded in my white sr5 with the black hood wrap, it was in a video you did, at Newton Toyota. Hopefully it is just the plug like mine. ✌🏻
Leg extension is easy fix. Pull on it while extending the when fully extended lube the gear wheel leave it out just a bit and should always roll in and out. Gear alignment with motor is just off a bit to make it stick.
It’s a definite luxury item on long trips so I hope it works. In my opinion it just sticks when fully inset so just leave out enough for the PLASTIC gear to grab and should be good.
Just went to get mine addressed at the dealership today and they said they would have to order the whole under carriage of the seat or something like that to fix the issue. I’ll try the advice @trentonetmans8620 gave. Thanks.
Toyota should make videos how to fix all the quality control problems they have so that customers can fix their own brand new truck issues on a weekly basis without troubling the dealers.
You serious? How do you not realize that the new gen tundras, Tacoma, and pretty much all Toyota vehicles are just bad engineering and quality… it’s people like you that allows Toyota to keep doing the shady things their doing. Please do your research on Toyota and stop buying their vehicles.
@@FizzleWick1 ziiing…right over your head. I know this guy won’t have this truck at 150k miles after he has a major malfunction under 100k. I know these vehicles are all trash coming from Toyota and I’m done with them.

I have a 2024 Platinum that has been fantastic! I only have 3500 miles on it and love everything about it. I do wish I’d have gotten the air ride suspension but my work around is a Blue Ox hitch. Yes I tow a lot with this truck. I have an enclosed 24’ ATC trailer that hauls our 2500 lb race car. It tows it with no problem! The ride is so comfortable and the build quality is wonderful, so far...
I have not used the seat extender except once to try it out on my 2024 1794 Hybrid. But I will start to use it to see if it breaks before warranty runs out. Dealer said the engine noise couldn’t be turned off ( or to lazy on first service) so I did it myself. Personal preference, I like it better, can hear the turbos kick in when I rarely press hard on the gas pedal. The enhanced noise reminds me of when I put a playing card on the rear wheel spokes of my bicycle as a kid. Have done 24 mpg in eco mode being light enough on the pedal to keep it under 2k on the tachometer during acceleration. But generally get 16 to 22 mpg. I wonder how long it will take to save on gas to make up for the more expensive price.
I’d like to say my 2011 platinum with 202,000 miles has a great JBL sound system. The subwoofer hits really good and the highs are crisp for how old the truck is. Enjoy watching your videos and like the 3rd gen’s but think I’ll still upgrade to a 20 or 21 5.7 when I’m ready.
Seat extender is/was a problem in my ‘23 Platinum - but if you toggle the switch back and forth quickly it should start moving. Then once you get it to move, leave it just a tad bit extended and it will work every time after that. Something must just get stuck when it is all the way in.
Nope, staying with my 2019 1794. Oh and they had the same kind of floor mats you talk about here. Replaced them immediately with Husky. Just got mine detailed, new tires, alignment, radiator flush, oil change. Putting some new steps on and will probably upgrade the front grill and bumper. Maintenance wise I need to to get a tranny flush, transfer case oil change and maybe new brakes soon. Contemplating putting in new stereo and speaker system. Still drives great at 98K. The only way I buy a new truck is if they come out with a naturally aspirated V8 5.7 or diesel that is over engineered like the current one I own. I might buy a different Toyota later, but keeping this truck (ole reliable) forever. If you can afford to buy a used Gen II and keep it, even when you want something new that's what I would recommend. Keep the Gen II and never trade it. Buy something else, but keep ole reliable around. Might be the last one you will ever own, the way they make them now.
My leg extension broke under 1,000 miles as well, then they installed the new one backwards, so I had to take it back again for them to fix it. . . also having all 4 windows runs replaced & a new headliner for rattles now in my 24 platinum
I loved Toyota, I have two. One is a 2008 sequoia with 200,000 miles and it’s running like a champ. No issues and I’ve driven through a lot, will never get rid of it. Second is a 2007 FJ Cruiser with 135,000 miles and it runs amazing. My FJ has been so many offroad trails on different types of terrain. Finally had to replace the lower control arms but it has been through a lot, never get rid of this. These new Toyota’s, no thank you. For the price and what you’re getting is not worth it.
Great review! Ive had 2 F150 FX4s and they held up well. As a biz owner i need a truck that meets the sec 179 deduction threshold GVWR without all the added luxury bling and tech features. The base Tundra SR was the best overall value. SR standard features- even with the “detuned” 348hp base engine- were impressive. Plenty of power for my needs. (Waited for the market to cool down and dealers willing to negotiate) So far after 2,200 miles this base level Tundra SR has been flawless and feels much tighter and more refined than my previous FX4s. I prefer the exterior design of the FX4 but otherwise the base Tundra SR stacks up well against higher trim package competitors. For those lkg for a lot of truck under $50k, the SR and SR5 are worth a look.
I’ve got a 23 Platinum and had the same issue with the intermittent leg lumbar issue in the driver’s seat. I had it worked on earlier in the year and it worked briefly. My dealership then said Toyota identified there is an issue that they now know about. Got contacted earlier this week that they fixed the issue (apparently a missing washer on some part that works the arm). I bring it in Monday to get fixed along with replacing the driver side door trim that popped off at the end. Other than these issues I absolutely love my very first Tundra with 20K miles already driven.
Congrats on the truck. I watch every video by the way and I am a big fan. As for me as a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro double cab owner, I like the looks of the new truck minus that front end. I just cannot get around how ugly it is in my opinion. The front end on the Sequoia is beautiful. If it had that front end this truck honestly would be a 8.8/10 visuals for me. I would love to see a video of you towing 7,000 lbs or more and telling us your experience. MPG, sway, pulling, stopping. Have a good one!
I saw the Tacoma trd offroad in the neighborhood this week. Real steel bumpers. Recovery hooks front and rear. Reaaly nice looking inside and out.. I wish Tundra team had taken queues from the direction tacoma ended up as. You'll be replacing the seat and radio nob soon. 😊 Hybrid not a fan. No under seat storage. No increase in mileage. Costs more. Adds 500ish pounds of weight. Adds complexity. Why? JBL is not that great, better systems on some of the others. SR5s are plasticity. Platinum and 1794 are nice, worth the money if you can swing it. Agree with you, floor mats are a joke.
Well I finally did the trade. I traded my 22 limited trdoffroad with 55k for an exact truck I've wanted. Got me a 2024 lunar rock limited trdoffroad with no pano, (I'm good with out it) it has premium power package, ( which was the main option I wanted, mainly for the bed power outlet), so I got it for 8k off msrp, I couldn't pass it up. still hard to believe that i actually have the exact truck that I have always wanted. Also want to say it's a night day from my first run 2022 to this late 2024 on terms of build quality. No rattles, whole truck seems so much more solid, even the steering wheel material is different, the gear selector seems more solid, and for some reasons the jbl in this truck seems better too. Anyways, I'm very happy l, I'm very impressed that toyota improves build quality. Glad you got what you wanted and truck does look great too.
Liked your review and most of the stuff you talked about is true. Im considering getting a 2025 limited. Was thinking about the 1794 but for me the limited has everything i want in a truck.
My 23 Capstone had the same problem with the seat extender. At first I had read that if you turn off the heated and or cooling seats that it will work. It actually did work…like twice, then stopped. I ended up having to have the dealer (Runnemede, NJ) have to order and replace the seat frame. Whether that was the problem or not, I may never know, but months later it still works as intended.
I used my seat extender, as I mentioned I would previously. Worked fine the first time, but now a week later, does not work at all. 3361 miles, so still under warranty, 2024 Tundra iForce Max 1794. Just got 22.7 mpg on 34 mile trip on freeway, 55 to 65 mph.
One thing someone told me that worked. It seems to get stuck when it is 100% folded. So i got it to operate again by pushing the out button and helping it get unstuck, and then i put it back to 95% closed. No issues. Seems to get stuck at 100%
@@TundraDude34yes confirmed, I was able to get it to work following your comments, thanks. I will still have the dealer look at it in the next service.
Man the energy in this comment section is wild... Anyone have experience in the 3rd gen in the snow? Wondering if missing 4WD Auto is a big deal or not. One thing that the 3rd Gen does not get enough credit for is the safety scores. Have a two little girls and i believe the 3rd gen is the safest truck on the road so we may be in the market for a 2025. To me, the safety of the 3rd gen is a bigger benefit than the reliability of the 2nd. Will probably get an extended warranty for peace of mind.
I just bought a 2019 1974 edition, 46k-ish miles great condition, decent payment it’s a gas guzzler but I work from home so not much driving. I couldn’t come to terms with the newer models
18mpg for a V-6? I’m getting 20.6mpg on my 2022 F-150 Coyote V-8….I really like the 1794 version, but find it hard to change when my Lariat has 95% of the same options.
Once again, great vid. Hey, its Ron from Va. here. Reminder: I have a 2023 red tundra limited with the off-road package and we are extremely in love with it. I am personally enamored with the idea of having the blue accent lighting in the cab at night. Does yours have that? Blue accent lights in the doors and under the dash. I don't know why i love that so much buy i wish we had it. We will probably trade out of this one in 2 more years and i want the 1794 brown leather interior ... always been my desire to have one but, i have to have that blue accent light package. Only problem we have had is the plastic trim piece on the driver's seat has broken twice now. The last one that broke is the updated one too and it still cracked and broke in only 4000 miles. Love your truck bro and if you have the blue light package inside, could you do a night snip it video of what they look like with that brown leather? That would be so great. Thanks again for your vids and keep up the good work my brother.
I’ve owned 3 Tundras dating back to 2012. 2 SR 5’s and one 1794. I haven’t owned them because they had all the bells and whistles. I haven’t owned them because they were the best looking trucks. I’ve owned them because they were rock solid dependable. Oil , gas, and brakes were all I did. Put 150k+ miles on all of them. I am so sad with the current state of Tundra. Now I’m just wandering the truck landscape trying to find my way. Just my 2 cents…
The driver seat thigh support went out in mine too. Dealer fixed it with the service campaign. All good now. I also LOVE this truck! I was a Tacoma guy for many years and the ‘23 1794 (TRD OFF ROAD) is my first Tundra. Thanks for your videos 👍👊
From the video it looks like the upholstery tech lost interest in tacking the underseat carpeting on the passenger side rear seat, leaving folds of excess fabric instead of a nice and tight fit. Maybe another of those US-worker assembly-line attitudes "let the dealer fix it if the customer complains." This attitude compared to the pride in perfection a Japanese assembly line technician takes in his work. And toyota wants $70k for a vehicle from a lackadaisical assembly line in the Texas Toyota plant. (Car Care Nut did a detail video review of the fit and finish showing the shoddy workmanship on his white 2024 Tundra 1794 with the saddle leather manufacturer's custom interior.) His takeaway was "waaall, at least I saved alot of money from msrp cause these things weren't selling;" And his belief that as a "celebrity-owned" truck featured in his videos it will command a high resale value. mmn, ok. 973,000 more trouble-free miles to go in my 2021 V8 Tundra before I might start looking again. Oh, I do pay for extra oil changes at every 5k miles.
Still waiting for my seat to break in my 2016 tundra and 2024 camry. All jokes aside it will take some years before the quality improves on new toyotas
Love my 2024 Limited TRD OR Tundra. They made improvements from my 2022 Limited TRD OR Tundra. I gutted the suspension though. Put in a full Icon electronic suspension
I also have issues with The lamber leg support extension. There is a plastic washer in the motor component that is a cheap material, and it will keep breaking even if you get another motor. They need to change that washer to one of better quality. They ordered a better washer from Japan, which took weeks to get to the dealership.
Just FYI: The remote feature that comes with the truck for the first year where you can remote start or see if your truck is locked or lock it from your phone. Tire pressure and more. I let mine laps and did not renew after the free 1st year. Low and behold, navigation is also tied with this option. I wanted navigation back, door lock from phone, tire pressure, etc. Signed back up and got Nav. back but nothing more. Went for 3rd free service and told them my phone would not sink up to get the feature I had signed up for. They said Toyota has given that service to a 3rd party now and this is a ongoing problem. I would have to leave my truck with them for at least 4 hours if not all day to fix the problem. Been 4 months now that I have been paying $15 dollars a month and not getting the full benefits of the service. Not to happy. Dealer is far enough away, it is a special trip. If you want the service, sign up before the free deadline to avoid this problem. P.S. : I like the little amount of exhaust noise even though it is pumped through the speakers. It lets me know what the engine is doing, how much throttle is applied, when it shifts gears. You hear what the engine is doing without being annoying. It is just enough to feel what is going on unless you floor it. Then it lets lets you know. Did not think I would like it before I got my truck, the pipped in sound. Now, I love it for letting me know what she is doing.
Great review, man. I’m thinking about buying a used 2023 1794 in South Jersey. I’ve never owned one, and would like to pick your brain. If you have any contact information let me know. Glad I found your channel.
Yup. Of all things to break and known as previously mentioned. On those of us with the large display multimedia system. The big on / off valume control knob. it breaks and basically falls off in your hand..
Great video. I'm you are happy with the new GEN Tundra. I on the other hand believe TOY really screwed up with this new GEN. The body looks like a N. Titan/CHEV Silverado mix. Hideous. WHY WHY WHY! didn't they JUST add a turbo to the 5.7L V8! Simple effective solution. Truck guys, MEN I mean, don't want a V6. We want roaring V8's. I'm seeing TOY has recalled their new V6 motors. Swaps are the fix? Yikes. On a positive note, I am glad TOY addressed their terrible Payload. The new GEN has better Payload.
Here in Canada, these newer Tundras are being stolen easily at an alarming rate. Window gets smashed and doesn’t set off the alarm system….seen some videos of these Tundras being stolen…new key fobs re-programmed easily. Toyota needs to step up their anti-theft systems.
i have the exact same truck mesquite brown ,the first upgrade were the tires. several other since my purchase.i saved for over 19 months to buy this truck it’s my forever truck,so i wanted it paid off. i wonder if i could share a few things . i now have 17k miles on her and reason being my grandkids live in ohio and im in florida .
I was ready to pull the trigger on a 22 when they came out. It was the locking diff that put me off, only available in 4Lo. That’s so stupid. Went with a Silverado 3.0 Duramax, 25-30 mpg 14-15 mpg towing a 8-9k trailer. Love it. Thank you Toyota for the stupid locking diff setup! Glad I didn’t buy one now with all the engine problems!
My seat extender stopped working, too. I was going to get it fixed, but then got the first recall, which was a temporary fix. I thought..no. not going in for them to tear apart things twice just to get the final fix done. Year later... I just got the call that all parts are in. I've had the truck two years now and realiz I've been trained not to use the seat extender. Point is, I went this long without it and paid for it...sucks. Also, check your alignment before it's to late. I realized my front tire badly wore in the inside just after 12k but it was to late. Tire warranty ran up after 12k. Also, my android worked for a little bit then stopped. I paid for services but android don't connect.
I've had that front leg motor issue "fixed" on my 1794... didn't fix it. I did find since, playing with it, it works off and on. What I did find, is it doesn't seem to be aligning when it goes to the "home" (all in) position- what I did find, is it works more reliably if you leave it out just a smidge from all the way in (home). I looked under, and it seems the motor /shaft, moves out of alignment when it's home. (Love my 1794! )
Ive watched so many videos of toyotas that have a lack of workmanship and quality tells me that Toyota cheaped out compared to old Toyotas. Hopefully Toyota will fix all these new model issues.
Why do you keep gas mpg at total. That means life of the truck. Setting to trip gives a more accurate number for the style of driving your doing. Can also select tank average. Just curious
I do pump to pump calculation videos to show real time numbers from time to time. I try to leave the truck cpu one alone to see what the life of the truck shows
I have the same truck only 2023. My hip extender broke the first week. Please let me know if you get it fixed because my Toyota dealer said there is no repair for this problem. I contacted Toyota customer service directly, and they said the same thing. It’s ridiculous!
There is a tsb for the thigh extender. What i did was get it free (it gets caught when its 100% folded) and only close back down to 95%. Doesn’t stick at all anymore

On point comments about the JBL system. I have a JBL sound system in my 2024 4Runner Limited, and it is stunningly powerful and clear.
Love that brown interior! Own ‘24 TRD Pro Tundra Midnight Black IFMax. Just hit 3K miles. It kills! Insane power. Definitely a head turner. Enjoy ur channel!
Sorry but your 24 is 💩.... i got one in march and it sucks.... i gave it to my wife and got a new Silverado zr2 1500.... the chevy ia built soooooo much better.....
@atg1338 you gave your wife something you hate and complain about on every one of my videos??? Bad form dude
@@TundraDude34 yep because i want everyone to know the new Tundra is a pile of 💩..... my 24 zr2 1500 is a much better truck in so many ways.....
Enjoy it!
@@atg1338Enjoy your turd! Great husband to give your wife what you hate. Have had Chevys too. Traded out of a Chevy…it left me sitting too many times. Go watch paint dry!
You guys got all be crazy. Risking 80,000 grand for an engine that may go south on you. I can understand the Tundra dude doing it. He’s make $$$$ off these videos. But the rest of you are nuts. I’ll stick with my 2021 Tundra!
Not 80, i got mine for 63k. A lot of great deals out there, just gotta research around
i paid 50k OTD.
Why do they need to wait to fix the manufacturing problems when they take one of their cars and test it very before putting them in the market?
Thanks!
Ill try turning surround off 👍🏼. I just say in normal most of the time also
I think it sounds better with surround sound off also.
Definitely off!
With surround sound off it definitely sounds like it’s on. Maybe Toyota go it backwards some how.
Glad that you are happy with your truck. I would consider doing an oil change now. A way to get the construction residue out of there and new cars have an excessive amount of silicone in the oil. Might even be worth it to your viewers and send the first oil change for oil analysis. Drive on brother. Love that interior!
Man… I’m wanting a Tundra just don’t want to start over on payments!
Don’t do it!!!!! Keep your money and invest it!!
No joke, take this from someone who is paying for a 24 tundra limited. Save your money brotha, wait for the kinks to be rung out at the very least.
It’s not worth it.
@ericconrad2383 This 100%. Having $0 car payment is truly a greater luxury to me than new truck smell. Think I'll play the hand I've got.
It’s better to invest your money on important things, food, water, shelter, off-grid electrical setups, self defense.
Hard to get good worker now a days. They can’t even put a plug in correctly
I still love my 2008 4.7 liter 6 passenger limited with 112,000 miles.
Leg extension is easy fix. Pull on it while extending the when fully extended lube the gear wheel leave it out just a bit and should always roll in and out. Gear alignment with motor is just off a bit to make it stick.
Ill give it a try, thank you!
I can’t wait to see the 150k mile review on this truck
Will never happen.... not even on the replacement engine
You literally dont have enough days to wait. Its gonna be a long time. This will not make it
You serious? How do you not realize that the new gen tundras, Tacoma, and pretty much all Toyota vehicles are just bad engineering and quality… it’s people like you that allows Toyota to keep doing the shady things their doing. Please do your research on Toyota and stop buying their vehicles.
@@FizzleWick1 ziiing…right over your head. I know this guy won’t have this truck at 150k miles after he has a major malfunction under 100k. I know these vehicles are all trash coming from Toyota and I’m done with them.
@@donaltemus3565 oh right! Now I see it lol. But your comment is pretty vague tho and it does go both ways LMFAOO. By the looks of your comment anyone would read as if you believe the truck will go 150k and you want a review on it…
Got my 24 Limited 3 weeks ago, already over 1k miles and it’s amazing, I love it.
Great goal!! 2nd gen is better
Seat extender is/was a problem in my ‘23 Platinum - but if you toggle the switch back and forth quickly it should start moving. Then once you get it to move, leave it just a tad bit extended and it will work every time after that. Something must just get stuck when it is all the way in.
I’m on my third seat extender!! Recall??
The plastic on the seat has broken a second time!
Toyota paying you to make all these positive comments. I skipped the negatives, only heard the positives...must be nice...
HAHAHAHAHAHA! We are the Men In Black Of Toyota. If you wouldn’t mind everyone, please look at this red light
@@TundraDude34 😂😂😂😂😂
I tow a boat to the marina a few times a year, ill film the next one. I believe the trailer and boat are 6k and change
@@TundraDude34 Great! I look forward to the future video. Thanks for the response.
Enjoy that sweet 21 dcab pro. One of my favorites!
Hybrid not a fan.
I have the same exact truck in Mesquite Brown color, no issues, love it.
My 2024 has 5700 miles. On my last highway trip of 60 miles it got 26.3 mpg. Average fuel economy has been 18.6 per tank.
Congrats! Truck definitely feels more solid over the last couple of model years. I thought it was just me lol
Liked your review and most of the stuff you talked about is true. Im considering getting a 2025 limited. Was thinking about the 1794 but for me the limited has everything i want in a truck.
When you do your long drive video, can you review the lane assist features? Keep up the great content!
Within the next couple of weeks 👍🏼
My 23 Capstone had the same problem with the seat extender. At first I had read that if you turn off the heated and or cooling seats that it will work. It actually did work…like twice, then stopped. I ended up having to have the dealer (Runnemede, NJ) have to order and replace the seat frame. Whether that was the problem or not, I may never know, but months later it still works as intended.
Cool video start up, fun informative and nicely done, you did good beautiful Tundra
Tow + Haul mode, big time tune
Appreciate you Mark!👊🏻
Best wishes for your ongoing "honeymoon!"
Hahaha thank you! It may be a long one, ive always wanted a 1794
I used my seat extender, as I mentioned I would previously.
Will probably get an extended warranty for peace of mind.
i would highly suggest in getting the wifi system for the truck ,my family loves it
I just bought a 2019 1974 edition, 46k-ish miles great condition, decent payment it’s a gas guzzler but I work from home so not much driving. I couldn’t come to terms with the newer models
Love my limited 1794 tundra❤, its luxurious ❤.
18mpg for a V-6? I’m getting 20.6mpg on my 2022 F-150 Coyote V-8….I really like the 1794 version, but find it hard to change when my Lariat has 95% of the same options.
I get 17-18 in town and 20-22 on the highway in my Tundra, but everyone has different driving habits and traffic loads.
The seat extender of my truck, same trim as yours, same package, also failed. Will get that done on my 10k visit with Toyota service.
You have more miles then mine I have a 2023 and it just turned 500 miles.
Hi Ron! Yep, the ambient lighting is standard in Capstone, 1794 and Platinum. Whats your email address?

Sorry to hear that! Good luck with the 2025 search
Dude i love it 1794, an Seriously looking , must have, im a SR5 Guy.
Find that deal!
Just bought a new limited 2024 1294 edition. Love it ❤, no complaints, I'm sure there's a few lemons in every breed.
Same thing happened with the seat in my 24 1794. I’ve had mine for exactly 1 year and 24k miles. Goin in next week for service and fix.
Great looking truck
If the twin turbo v6 is only averaging 18 mpg what is the advantage over the 5.7 ? My 5.7 averages 18 . Juice doesn’t seem worth the squeeze to me.
Bullshit 18 mpg’s
My 2018 averages 11 a 12 mpg around town, 18 is excellent
Bull shit!! Utter bull shit.
If you drive like granny and get 18 mpg with the 5.7, youd get 24mpg with this one.
@@davidsdean my 18 got 21.2 today on a 30 mile stretch of highway today with no stops!
did you buy the top extended warranty? i did because of the hybrid system.and my second upgrade was a lift done by my Daytona dealer
Only ever owned one Tundra, 2004 SR5 Double Cab. Can't break it, won't sell it.
The seat extender cushion issue is something Toyota needs to focus on. I’ve heard this issue happen from Tundras made in 22-24.
Still waiting for my seat to break in my 2016 tundra and 2024 camry. All jokes aside it will take some years before the quality improves on new toyotas
People are morbidly obese and slam down on the seat. That is the real issue. Car seats aren’t designed for 250+ lbs.
Turn off surround mode on multimedia screen and the JBL will sound much better.
Nice truck. Did they resolve the problem with the box looking uneven. Thanks
Hi there. I haven’t heard of that issue
@ thanks for the quick response have a great day and enjoy your new ride cheers
If I wanted to buy pickup truck with Horse power over 380 and luxury what’s the best option available in current market. Appreciate the responses
nice cold start love it
Love my 2024 Limited TRD OR Tundra.
When you completely lower the thigh extender push the button to raise it every so slightly and it will never stick again
I got it working 100% now. I’ll keep you guys updated but so far, fixed!

I love the stock floor mats in my 1794. 10:35
Now, I love it for letting me know what she is doing.
im happy with my paid off 21 tacoma . its simple , i have my apple car play . v6 and AC
My Plat version of your truck has been flawless. It blows away my 2nd gen tundra by a long way. In 5 yrs, $70k for this truck will seem cheap!
In 5 years Toyota will be selling that truck for the same $70K.
If it makes it 5yrs🤣🤣

Constant work in progress constant maintenance and constant updates and so forth that is Mercedes and Audi or BMW territory
"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"
I'm happy for you!
Thank you sir!
(Love my 1794! )
I love all the “soft touch” is just layer of think cheap foam, that easily get scratched, cut, scarfed. I’d rather get hard plastic.
I like everything except the pano roof.. Ive had 3 or 4 sunroofs etc. Never used them
I just ordered the 2025 1794… can’t wait!
Where do I get one of those TRD Pro north face shirts?

Ive watched so many videos of toyotas that have a lack of workmanship and quality tells me that Toyota cheaped out compared to old Toyotas. Hopefully Toyota will fix all these new model issues.
Same problem with the seat. Paint bubble and chip all over the truck, camera glitch. My truck is 73k.
My 2014 FX4 on 35 inch A/T gets 18 mpg with 200k miles sooooo good job Toyota?
