- Jomtien Beach on a Sunday Morning in May. I took a walk along the shoreline and made this video to show you what it is like on Jomtien Pattaya Beach in 2024. It has been extremely hot over the past few weeks.
Jomtien is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand about 155 km south of Bangkok in the Chonburi Province, Thailand. 🇹🇭

Jomtien is such a nice place to live. The heat will eventually abate. I hope!
The Rom Pho market area has so many options for massages, drinks & shooting pool. You can shop the wet market and a variety of food vendors in the afternoon/evening. I've gotten a couple of haircuts there as well. They've got a nice burger stand with a great value burger & even a pharmacy in the mix. I will try out the KISS (correct name?) restaurant on 2nd road & the BBQ Buffet soon as well. There are a couple of nice 'catch all' markets as well where I have stocked up my condo with household goods, even buying some things like sunglasses (100 baht) & swimsuits. You can find 99% of what you need for daily life in Jomtien in Rom Pho market. And there are plenty of pretty ladies to 'distract you' as well. You can even catch the baht bus across 2nd Street to take you all the way to whatever Soi you want in Pattaya if the Rom Pho ladies don't ring your bell.
