I'll give a second shout out to Branch Coffee 2. I frequented it when I was living in Jomtien, and it had consistently good food and drinks. Nice people running it.
Kiss opens at 8am. It's across second road from the street the immigration office is on. The restaurant to the left of the immigration office is open by then as well. If you continue down that street, there's a couple old bars on the right that are open very early and serve food. All that said, the best breakfast is found at the market in front of Kiss. There's a young couple that makes pad kaprow in one of the stalls closest to Kiss. Get two fried eggs on top and be sure that you saved a Chang from last night to wash it down.
Hi Heath,Black horse is good for a drink or coffee, very friendly young guy who runs the place, always up for a chat,he's middle eastern speaks perfect English.
Good commentary especially while riding a bike in the heat. Great work! Also thank you for mentioning Trindys, my girlfriends restaurant 🙏🙏🙏 Enjoyed to music too, nice one Heath 😎
Great job... I like the more talking with explanation. But I understand about doing what works for you. I'm still trying to figure out my style if I go back to vlogging.
Great video. I hope there are places that open for breakfast at a decent hour. When I was in Pattaya, I noticed a lot of places serve breakfast, but don't open until 9am. I get up around 7am, have breakfast 7:30, so most of the places were no good to me. I did thakfully find a place on Soi Honey, & I ended up being their loyal customer for a week
@From One End of Thailand 🇹🇭 Haha I am an early bird, which may be a bit unusual in Pattaya & even Jomtien. I will have to investigate next time I am there.
Great info video on Jomtein. Long ride, good sweat I'll bet. Thanks Heath. Like the music tracks. Nice, Is there ANY jazz in Jomtein/Pattaya? Gotta do live music!
Hello Heath, As you know I’ve only just subscribed but I am catching up with your videos as quick as I can. This was very helpful indeed and given me some good ideas on where to go. I am actually staying in the Jomtien Beach Penthouses Soi 9 in June so hopefully I might see you about. 🏴
You never mentioned Country Club. Before it was the best bar. I haven't been there for 6 years. Would be nice with an update. Not much to write home about on Beach Road, really. Soi 7 is the happening place, guys. And Soi 'White House', just after Soi 5. Further down, it's Soi 11 and 12 as I rememember it. Cheers, mate.
I know you were staying within the Jomten confines but it would have been better in my opinion to finish just down the road at the starting point 1 where the baht bus turns around. Just out of interest are you using a electric bicycle per chance or a scooter because you did not look as if you were pedaling and Lamporn was nowhere to be seen😁.
In a good location on the Beach Road. A short walk to Soi 7, Soi Whitehouse and many bars. 👍 This video was filmed there th-cam.com/video/xVhQpQckH-s/w-d-xo.html
I think with low season nearly here, you might be able to get a good price for a condo that isn't on the beach front. Best to subscribe to property rental pages on Facebook to see what's on offer. Websites don't seem to be updated as regularly.
Hi Heath another informative expedition via bicycle. Was that opposite Rompho Market where you started? It did look familiar. Riding a pushbike around definitely requires keeping fully aware and preempting everyone's possible moves. Some very poor driving being displayed as usual.Seems like a great way to get around plus also a few health benefits if one can keep away from the ice cream & cake shops..555..Great job as usual, take care mate.👍🍺
Head down Soi Welcome and have a chat with all the bar owners? Love that street. So much more relaxing than the others. I'd recommend doing more in-depth clips of Jomtien. Especially for those that can't stand Pattaya or in very small doses. Keep it up Heath👍
Fact checker comment: actually, it is not Beach Road. The road name is "Jomtiensaineung Rd". I didn't know that either when l made up my address cards. Good ride.
You missed Tinnies Pies, Aussie restaurant with fresh and frozen Aussie food, recommended 😊 Soi 7 has got a lot of open air bars, Soi’s 2 to 5 all have have a few bars too! 🎉
I have seen to thiland many ti an no problems I love the people and the culture u don't get that in Europe I hope to retire there I don't listen to the bad stories I know it's alovly country and butifull people xx
Hi mate i see you riding your bike quiet a lot in your videos can you hire bikes for a week or 2 am there in Pattaya 26th March till the 11th April dont drive moter bikes but wod love to have the freedom to just get about and not relying on taxis
Very nice thanks ever so much for sharing 🙏 please take good care of that beautiful lady of yours, good luck to you both 🙌💓
Thanks, El. Will do. 😎
Watched this video for third time, really informative and music is very cool
I love it when Lamporn rides her bike.
Next time. 👍
Great vid Heath, thank you.
Thanks. Something a little different. Glad you enjoyed it. 😎
I like these videos, short to the point, and covering just a small area rather than street after street. More please 🙏🙏
Thanks. Will do. 🙏
Thanks Heath will do

Thanks, David. I will check it out. 👍
Nice ride, thanks!
Glad you liked it. 🚴♀️
Nice informative video, Heath thanks for posting
Thanks, Glyn. 🇹🇭
I live in Jomtien near Soi 17. We love down here. Definitely more quiet down here. But a 10 Baht bus ride to Soi Buakao takes 20 minutes….😀
Yes, much quieter this end of the beach road. 👍
Heath you're a star. Shout yourself a large ice coffee after that big effort, thank you mate ☕
Thanks, Gary. 😎
Thanks Heath another good vid.
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. 🦜
Good commentary especially while riding a bike in the heat. Great work! Also thank you for mentioning Trindys, my girlfriends restaurant 🙏🙏🙏 Enjoyed to music too, nice one Heath 😎
Thank you. Trindy's yes. I was drinking in Sandy Gold about a month ago and they highly recommended it. It's a plan to go there next week.
@@fromoneendofthailand That's nice of them. Enjoy your time there 😀
Hi Heath, thank you so much for the video 👍
My pleasure. 👍
I love these vlogs, keeping talking it helps us to get to know the area better
Cheers, Billy. Glad you like them. 🇹🇭
Very Good video - thanks a bunch!

I am not sure, never up that early. 😐
@From One End of Thailand 🇹🇭 Haha I am an early bird, which may be a bit unusual in Pattaya & even Jomtien. I will have to investigate next time I am there.
Great video, mate 😊
You're welcome. 👍
Very nice vlog, Jomtien is where I am planning to move from Toronto Canada, your info is very helpful, Thanks!
Thank you so much. I'm glad you find the videos helpful. 🙏
Great info video on Jomtein. Long ride, good sweat I'll bet. Thanks Heath. Like the music tracks. Nice, Is there ANY jazz in Jomtein/Pattaya? Gotta do live music!
Thanks. And yes th-cam.com/video/p8f19cSNsck/w-d-xo.html 😎
Your commentary is quite useful.
Thanks, Bob. 👍
Heath, sir, that was an informative video. I think you did a great job narrating and giving us your views on what is important to you.
Thank you, Jeff. Glad you enjoyed it. 😎
Good informative video Heath. It was nice to see from one end to the other!
Does the baht bus there just basically do a loop round and round?
The bus goes to Pattaya and back. They sometimes go off track if they have a private fare. 😎
Hello Heath,
As you know I’ve only just subscribed but I am catching up with your videos as quick as I can.
This was very helpful indeed and given me some good ideas on where to go. I am actually staying in the Jomtien Beach Penthouses Soi 9 in June so hopefully I might see you about. 🏴
Thanks, Paul. 👍
Thanks!
Thank you so much. This is very much appreciated. 😎
Nice ride
Yes it was. 🇹🇭

I couldn't mention them all, but it is still there. 👍
Thanks for sharing Heath, 29° eh, I bet you don't miss this crappy English weather do you? 😂, regards from England 🍺🍺👍
Not at all, although I quite like snow. 😎
It’s an ordinary bicycle. Lamporn was not with me for this video. Cheers.
Hi, thank you for good videos. Is it allowed to smoke at the beach anywhere in Jomtien?
Thanks. You should not smoke on the beach although people do.
Thanks for the bike ride Heath, it was like going back to January, many times in did I travel that route leaving and going back to my condo in Aeras.
Glad you enjoyed it. 🙏
@xeikon If travelling in the early hours, I would recommend a motorbike taxi as the songthaew may stop or go off route.
Sometimes they turn at Chaiyapruk if they are not full. It's only a short walk to 19 from there.
Is Jomtien boathouse very central
In a good location on the Beach Road. A short walk to Soi 7, Soi Whitehouse and many bars. 👍 This video was filmed there th-cam.com/video/xVhQpQckH-s/w-d-xo.html
Any sign of the Coconut bar opening soon..in jomtien.Nice video Thanks
If it's the "bar" I am thinking of, I believe that's already open. 😎
Nice video keep it up 🙂
Thanks 😁
Do you know of any cheaper condos in Jomtien walking distance to beach? Long term rent
I think with low season nearly here, you might be able to get a good price for a condo that isn't on the beach front. Best to subscribe to property rental pages on Facebook to see what's on offer. Websites don't seem to be updated as regularly.
Do you feel safe on the bicycle?
- I assume some areas/roads should not be ridden?
Yes, I feel safe around here. No problem on a bicycle. 🚴♀️
Suggestion:
Make the "hot-links" for the previous videos' thumbnails.
-- I tried to click on a couple but didn't seem to lead anywhere.
Thanks. I put the links in the description. 👍
You went straight past country road...without mentioning the most estabished bar in jomtien for over 15 years!
Sounds like it could be a good song " Country roads take me home to the place I belong west" you should know the rest.
I couldn't mention them all I am sorry to say. I did flag up Country Road 3 on the right.

Thanks, Sam. Yes that that was the top of Soi 5 by Rompho Market. 👍
Head down Soi Welcome and have a chat with all the bar owners? Love that street. So much more relaxing than the others. I'd recommend doing more in-depth clips of Jomtien. Especially for those that can't stand Pattaya or in very small doses.
Keep it up Heath👍
Thank you. Yes, I like Soi Welcome. 👍
@@fromoneendofthailand I know, love to see the characters down there and I'm just being selfish as I miss it. 😉👍
Be staying in jomtien for 1st time soon, as opposed to pattaya central, d-varee, so thanks for these vids, great..no lamporn tho🤔
You’re most welcome. She’ll be in the next one. 👍
I rather like the commentary.
Perhaps dub the comments in post if it is a challenge to speak and "stay-safe" on the bike.
Fact checker comment: actually, it is not Beach Road. The road name is "Jomtiensaineung Rd". I didn't know that either when l made up my address cards. Good ride.
I think that means Jomtien Beach. 😎
Thanks
Thanks Sean. That's very good of you. Much appreciated. 🙏
@@fromoneendofthailand Your welcome 🙏
It’s surprising how long the street is
Yes. It's a nice long walk or cycle ride. 👍
How far is the Angket Hip cndo from Thappraya road
You couldn't comfortably walk it. Google maps is your friend. 😎
Are bikes safe to park and go into stores?
Yes. 👍
How many kilometers are beach road?
Soi 1 to Soi 19 is 4 kilometers. Pratamnak to Na Jomtien is a lot further.
You missed Tinnies Pies, Aussie restaurant with fresh and frozen Aussie food, recommended 😊 Soi 7 has got a lot of open air bars, Soi’s 2 to 5 all have have a few bars too! 🎉
Thanks, Roy. I did flag Tinnies Pies. I didn't do any of the sois as there are so many bars and I would surely miss so many. I might give it a go. 👍

Hi Gary. Yes, you can hire bikes in Pattaya and Jomtien. Best to search on Facebook as a lot of businesses here do not have websites.
Riding like a Thai. Through a red light, doesn't give way to family crossing road. I'm ok Jack
I do not know why they have pedestrian crossings here. Nobody stops.
Valhalla its a scandinavian bar ?
I believe so. 😎
one is never sure of final results is one ??
?? 😐
can always text overlay with background sound maybe if u prefer not to narrate live............
I normally do. Wanted to try something different. 😎
Without commentary, most vids are close to useless.
Very canny
I first ate in "Surf Kitchen" in 2012,always liked the food there, will be visiting it to eat next month.
