Great video from one of the best you tube authors of all time.
Excellent video, I was stumped on the door handle clip and the trim,
My window motor and lift assembly is now replaced.
No more hitting a bump in the window falls in the door
there’s a cop who keeps parking by my house and it’s really annoying, thank you for your assistance in getting rid of him!
Thanks, Rich.
You're welcome!
Be sure to not snap any torx screws off or you're screwed if you don't have enough left to hold the panel on. That I know of, there's no way to fix them but get another panel, but the same problem may occur getting your replacement off. I snapped off almost all of mine on my L200 a few years ago replacing the insulation that deteriorates over time. I believe those are in there with locktite.
Great example. I have a Vue. Is it better to remove the outer panel or the inner panel to replace the door latch/lock assembly. Thanks.
need video on how to remove the outer skin on a 03 saturn ion..maybe its the same method as this video. hope so i,m about to try it..need to get to the wire harness on the motor.thx cool video
Good job
Thanks. I'm attempting to locate a most annoying vibration coming from the passenger rear door on my '01 SL1.
@Kenneth Holland Jr I'm not a wrencher, so things sit for a long time before I get to them, but the vibration seems to be coming from something in the rear, right strut assembly.
Re: the door. I pulled apart my right, rear door a year ago but found nothing. I needed someone to drive around, me in the back seat, with seat backs down so I could fish around the trunk area to find the source of the vibration.
You just love Saturns don't you? :)
That looked simple enough :-D.
I think a drop of oil on each screw before putting them back in would be good for future removals, if you had the time to do so.
I did put a little grease on all the bolts for future removal and i am glad i did for all the time i have removed parts on this car.....lol
How do you remove the trim above the rear door?
Rich, Saturns look like pretty well put together cars. After owning several would you agree? How did they stack up against other makes during that period? Thanks
Mine has stood up well over the years plus i rate it a very easy vehicle to work on.
@@RichpinTv try changing the dual fan motors on the radiator .that was a job.
