The Most Mind-Blowing Thing Astronomy Tells Us

  • The most mindblowing thing that astronomy tells us is that we are made of stardust. The nitrogen in your DNA, the iron in your blood, and the calcium in your bones were once produced in the core of a giant star. But how is that possible? Well, soon after the universe was born, primordial nucleosynthesis created only two major chemical elements; hydrogen and helium. The first generation of stars formed from these elements and fused heavier ones in their core.
    When these stars died during a supernova, they enriched the interstellar medium with heavier elements such as oxygen, carbon, iron, etc. From that enriched medium, subsequent generations of stars formed. The Sun is a third-generation star relatively rich in heavy elements compared to
    its ancestors. So most of the elements on Earth and inside us were once produced by stars. We are literally made of star stuff.

      @@giulianodarrigo7631 Are you just pretending to be a semi-literate, ironic and science illiterate simpleton, or are you naturally that way? The OP is literally quoting one of your moronic bible verses proclaiming the belief that your sky Daddy made the first man from "DUST". "Stardust" is just a colloquial term for the elements in our bodies made through nucleosynthesis in stars. You're an idiot.
      The most intelligent people on the planet work within the sciences, which has absolutely nothing to do with your ridiculously irrelevant God, nor anyone else's. You don't even understand the actual subject matter that you think is "WRong", yet you expect someone who does understand it to just accept your idiotic non-argument. There is also a huge correlation between intelligence and lack of religious beliefs, regardless of your piss-poor opinion of it. The personal religious beliefs of any religious person within the sciences are completely separate from their professional work, because science has absolutely nothing to do with the non-falsifiable concepts of gods, whether it's your favourite sky wizard, or anyone else's. If you'd listened in school and hadn't failed your education, you would have known this, but no, you had to comment and prove what a clueless buffoon you are. That's the problem with idiots of your ilk, who think the Dunning Kruger effect bullshit you spew is somehow automatically true, without even a shred of objective critical analysis. Too dumb to know how dumb.

I have received a lot of support, guidance and clues on spiritual ethereal level in current lifeline, by time I'll try to explain this knowledge from my perspective, but in any case, everything I write or say it's my point of view, which should be treated with respect but at the same time it can't be considered universal absolute truth. There are too many separations and divisation between humanity, and this expanses more progressively and chaotically with the technology progress. Life created from a star and it’s proven here on earth. To add to this there are trillions of stars in the universe and potentially infinite amounts? Yea i think it’s safe to say that life exists all over the universe. It’s just extremely far away from us.

    Just a question. If 1st gen stars made heavier elements in their core, and then exploded... how we have this much H and He today, that most stars are still made of?

    If that’s the case then how can the mass of the substance change as a person grows if it needs to be formed in a star?

    So every participant of every crusade was technically a Stardust Crusader?

    • @thot-h
      @thot-h ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly, that was a indoctrinated and deceiving supremacy game of showing off, destruction and yelling to others that their books and castles are more powerful and connected to the Universe then others. Cringe history for humanity in overall all the crusades, that are happening even nowadays worldwide on different channels, instead of having honour and diplomacy, they are still fighting and manipulating the human consciousness, without being responsible for the consequences. Peace and love 💞

    Organic molecules are abundant throughout the Milky Way and numerous other vast galaxies across the Universe so life must be very common and by no means unique to Earth.
