The true motion of Earth in the galaxy

  • The solar system takes about 250 million years to complete one orbit around the center of the Milky Way. This duration is known as a galactic year. The last time the Earth was on this side of the galaxy, dinosaurs were beginning to walk the planet.

Someone doesn't know what fossilization is.... thats why there aren't dinosaur bones everywhere because only fossilized bones stood the test of time. While I agree there is probably life on other planets, life has never stopped on earth just got brought to the brink of extinction. Every living thing today is a decendant of whatever life was first spawned/created/formed/dropped on earth. So life was only created once here then just evolved and survived until now. I do believe it's possible that we are some miracle planet with the best possible scenario for life, but highly improbable... it's not like the earth is really built to sustain life it tries to wipe us out nearly constantly. Instead of consuming useless social media content, read some wikipedia pages about different kind of stars, galaxies, galaxy clusters, & whatever you can find. There's a lot to learn. learn basic astrophysics & astronomy, knowledge is always good. it's not scary at all once you know the facts of the universe you're living in, otherwise it'll be scary if you are ignorant & not paying attention to this stuff.

It’s crazy to think life’s only been around on our planet for about 4.3 billion years out of the 13.8 billion years the universe has been anything more than just a bunch of hydrogen atoms. There’s a theory that our universe is just in a super massive black hole 🕳️ and that’s my favorite theory. Gravity is also a big curiosity of mine. Gravity moving at light speed helps make the galaxy formation make a lot of sense. Because over the 250 million years, every 100,000 years all the gravity pulls from the most distant reaches of the gravity has contributed to changes in motion. This means all the structures of the arms can relay feedback gravity adjustments, really continueously but at no more delay than 200,000 years. making for thousands of galaxy wide course corrections within 1 rotation.

Gravity isnt moving, gravity is just apparent as soon as there is mass. Infact, its not even a force per se, its just the curvature of space time itself that affects mass as it was a force.

250 million years ago was the Permian Extinction, the largest mass extinction of all time and the closest life itself came to dying. It's chilling to know that this happened the last time the earth was in the place it is now.
