@@YodaWhatDoesnt mean you should always be grateful for it, its natural to have a better standard of living as technology advances. Its easy to say that we should all be grateful when you're living a good life while some out there are still living like peasants from the medieval times. Have you been in africa? (or more specifically, pretty much any rural areas in the world) Because none of those technologies you have mentioned exist there... Even clean water. Have about stop being so ignorant?

I got to see the May 10th aurora just in time for my 40th, and it truly felt like a gift from the sun. It was a bucket list for me and I felt grateful to have gotten the chance to see it. Once I became the amateur astronomer, my depression and anxiety greatly subsided. Now whenever I feel sad or hopeless, I go stargazing and feel at peace. I also go birdwatching, which helps with my anxiety.

I am actually feeling depressed because I wish to live forever to see everything us humans created in the future. I want to visit the whole universe, to see all the breathtakingly beautiful objects out there with my own eye. And I know I can't. It's just impossible. I'm already too old now, my eyes have become blurry and my body filled with illnesses. I just hope my soul will be able to travel anywhere in the universe after I die.
