Dude they’re only 22 light hours away. Think about that, it’s gonna be millions of years before they’re near another star. Not even 1 light day away much less than a light year.
Yeah. Chances are extremely high that no being will ever see them. Even if they did, we would be billions of years in extinction. Gone with only that trace of our human existence. The earth will be burned up. Long gone. Nothing but a vapor
I got to see the May 10th aurora just in time for my 40th, and it truly felt like a gift from the sun. It was a bucket list for me and I felt grateful to have gotten the chance to see it. Once I became the amateur astronomer, my depression and anxiety greatly subsided. Now whenever I feel sad or hopeless, I go stargazing and feel at peace. I also go birdwatching, which helps with my anxiety.
SOU stirred up the hornet's nest with this one!! Mankind is destined to destroy itself. As cool as those discoveries are, it means nothing once we're all gone.
Some knowledge survived from previous civilizations.. even if not all understood yet. Some materials will always remain. Plastic ,no doubt ,will be found somewhere. Bottom of ocean or tippy top of mountain.
@mndalyn nothing will remain ultimately. Both science, and the bible say that the earth and all of its works will one day be burned up. Nothing left. Not even a trace.
And to be here at a time where this world will no longer have a polarity, and we will have peace and freedom all over the world. It is a beautiful time to be alive.
I am actually feeling depressed because I wish to live forever to see everything us humans created in the future. I want to visit the whole universe, to see all the breathtakingly beautiful objects out there with my own eye. And I know I can't. It's just impossible. I'm already too old now, my eyes have become blurry and my body filled with illnesses. I just hope my soul will be able to travel anywhere in the universe after I die. It's depressing knowing that you're really just dust in the wind. Our whole planet is just dust in the universe...
I completely understand but we gotta be careful what we wish for. If we live forever, capitalism will enslave us and take advantage of it If we visit everything there is to see, then youd eventually be too bored If your soul is able to travel anywhere youd want more and more until you saw everything and cant see more
Thanks for giving me hope and courage to my heart, I was depressed due to my womanizer husband imtiaz Ahmad,he also got married with a mexican doctor Cristina and using her by all means without telling her that I am also imtiaz Pakistani wife..., I don't know how to contact her to tell her that she's being used only for the mexican nationality..., God save her and me too

And yet we can't solve world hunger and homelessness...
Agree ..this is the other part that is harsh
We can just we don't want because we want money and profit and if we solve world hunger then we lose profit.

Humanity was born on the Earth
But it was never meant to die here
The elements we're made of came from the cosmos. Same as the Earth , so we will return to the pool of substances that made us both.

Most of those things weren’t your accomplishments, but accomplished on those who came before you or by people from an older generation.
