This dresser was hidden in a stable after the owner gave up on trying to epicycle it. I took it home and completely transformed it into a modern boho statement piece with very unique custom legs.
Thanks for watching ,

You work full time in a hospital, you study full time at school AND you have a youtube channel which you upload to every week?? Damn, that's a serious grind. I subbed to you about 10 mins ago because I've seen a few of your videos now and I love them. I wish you all the success. Your hard work deserves to be recognised and applauded. Huge respect.
That is very kind. Welcome and keep watching ;-) More goos stuff coming soon
Amazing, I agree!
Exactly. Daaaang. Maaaaybe when I was in my 20s, but no way anymore. 🥵🥵
@@healingtimeforme813 i also agree
@@FlippingdrawersWow! I didn’t realize that did all that-work in a hospital, attend school full time, and do furniture on You Tube. I have even more respect for you! 👍👍👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😀💕🌸
Just for future reference, if you soak the cane webbing as well before cutting it and stapling it in, it's much easier to work with and then as it dries it tightens up. Just be sure to use enough staples that it doesn't pull taught strangely. Very cool transformation!
Tienes razón en eso de remojar esa malla (no sé cómo se llama ) pero después todo el trabajo está perfecto 👍
That's what I thougt also. It must be soaked, that's correct. By the way - you call the wickerwork "cane webbing" ? In Germany it's called "Wiener Geflecht" = Vienna weave
You are not only a talented furniture artist but your videos are interesting and entertaining with music sound effects and only necessary talking. I'm liking the editing, your vibe is cool.
Wow, thank you! You are the first to say that and it is pretty much spot on how I wanted this video to be seen. 👍🏻
You are the most creative TH-camr so far! Another beautiful transformation!!
Yay! Thank you!
I have become addicted to watching you restore furniture and I have fallen in love with you because you bring deep memories of my father that used to be one of the best carpenters from Puerto Rico 😊😊
After watching a lot of youtubers restoring furniture, I like your attention to detail much better. And you are not sloppy with your products you apply. Great job. You've got my sub.
Thanks Irene and welcome 🤗
Now that's a drastic difference from the original. Very unique and fresh!
Thanks Liz! Im loving those legs. Will definitely make them again.
It's fascinating how you envision something ordinary amd elevate it to something extraordinary. Fantastic work!
Thanks 😉
I love how you can just buy this man coffee. It’s so simple but nice.
yes it is. When you think about it the videos are free to watch but it takes me on average a week to make one so that is a nice way of supporting me so I can actually do it.
I worked since a child next to my father and you have made retorn to me all theses beautiful memories of loving wood: its smell, how it looks or how feel your hands touching a perfect work with no (extremely) sophisticated tools .
Glad you enjoyed it🥰
Interesting solution which worked really well, how to turn an average chest of drawers into a unique piece, just fabulous!!!
Thank you 😊
Holy smokes Jay!!!! I know you try & challenge your self with every build to get better & better but, this one is next level Bud. With the cane on the drawer fronts & those legs you gave this piece another 50 years of life in someone's home!! Well done Bud. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
Thanks Mike! Trying to keep you entertained 😉
Your work is meticulous. I watch the videos of several other people who restore furniture and few take such care with the inside of a piece and even fewer wax the back. Your videos are a pleasure to watch.
Thank you ;-) much appreciated ;-)
Love that old timey gospel song, Leaning, leaning on the everlasting arm! Love it. 💖
The legs are so cool, this piece turned out beautifully
awesome ! thanks
Love new design
.. legs are fabulous
Glad you like them!
Love the legs and the huge contrast in color!
You did not disappoint this time either. Especially like the new designed legs and the woven cane drawer covers. This would look good in many homes. Good job.
Thanks ! Seems your opinion is a bit controversial ha ha ha but I definitely agree ;-)
@@Flippingdrawers Ah well, you are not going to produce a universal like on each and every piece you do. It is still quality work.
always a joy to watch. clean and real personality. I can enjoy watching with my daughter. always looking forward to the next project.
All I can say is...BRILLIANT!
Thank you 😊
Bourbon Moth is very talented and he is funny. You have so much fun and you have the kitties, so furry and fluffy. You do amazing work. Thank you.
I love this music, too.
Thank you so much!

You are an artist!
That is very kind ☺️
How you elevated the dresser and glued the legs in place before mounting with screws was genius!
😎 I do have lucid moments now and again 😂 Thanks !
This turned out very well; I like the leg design and their contrasting colour. Anybody would be proud to have this in their home now that you've worked on it. Thanks for sharing and best wishes.
Thank you very much Mark !
Soft voice. loud music. Good work.
Brilliant idea for the legs.
The legs r really nice too, very cute and trendy.
Glad you like them!
I am loving the way you work and present your video in a easy to learn from, teaching fashion. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Yes, I would love to see you do a whole video on making the legs. New subscriber, and since you are sick right now, I’m going back and watching all of your older videos.
Awesome! Thank you!
Another beautiful result with attention to detail. I love it.

Wonderful design! Congratulations!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I like the addition of the caning and the custom legs. I don't know if I would have used them on the same piece, but I think you did good work.
🤷🏼
You have such an amazing gift!😃👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
As soon as I saw the intro I knew it'd be a good one! Love love your work, especially the way you troubleshoot, reminds me of my dad♥️

Well, I grew up with three of these wardrobes in New England. I think you did a beautiful job. Impressive.😊
Thank you! 😊
Those legs are brilliant!
thanks ;-)
Oh my goodness those legs!!!!!
I'm so glad you do ! it was definitely a risk but I absolutely love them and will make them again .
What a unique piece you created...
Those legs are flipping awesome 👌
Yay 🤗
I usually don't watch videos with background music.. but i kinda absolutely fell in love with the one starting at 3:00 😍 the other one was nice too.
Yay! Thank you!
When you work with the cane its much easier if you soak it first as it stretches a bit then when its dry it will shrink giving a much tighter and better finish . Great idea what you did with the legs
Thanks. I know that. I did say that in the video. I sprayed it with water this morning and dried it with a hair dryer. Got exactly the same result😉
@@Flippingdrawers i did hear you comment on it lol ,sadly soaking prior is the only fix
I know this is an older video, but the algorithm decided I needed to watch it. Glad I did. I like the way you did the cane work on the top drawers. That was a nice touch. I wasn't sure where you were going with the legs as you were building them but the idea worked out quite nicely. Awaiting your next update video. That whole dresser turned out well.
Thanks for watching 🙃
Mounting the legs on the sides made this piece different from anything I have seen. Great idea. You are very creative. Enjoyed listening to Leaning On The Everlasting Arms.
Awesome! Thank you Veronica.Glad you liked it
I like your video before I even watch it. I know it's going to be great!
Wow, thanks! That's very kind. No pressure lol
