Leaving much of the natural wood exposed and protected is a standard of work matched by few. Treating the insides as well as you treat the outside is a sign of a true craft man. Well done.

I grew up with the buffet to my grandparents walnut dining room suite similar to this one. It seemed almost sacrilege at first when you were painting a portion of it, but I ended up really liking the finished look. Also it may take longer to do the extra stripping and sanding, but it looks better and one has the satisfaction of knowing it was a job well done. I’m a Canadian who enjoys what you do😊❤.
