This is EXACTLY how I feel about it. If everyone picked a thing to do, not even full time, but just any thing that they found joy in that had a positive effect on the planet like this... imagine how much better the world would be. Not only are you doing something you love and are great at, but you are sharing the experience and knowledge AND doing a great thing for the planet. You are setting a wonderful example 💖
I’m always confuse with this kind of comment. Sure, second hand is better for the environnement, but what to think of the energy consumed and all the chemicals used in paint, vaneer and strippers ? I love refurnishing and I think we need to see farther than saving a piece of furniture. Why not being the first youtuber to calculate your carbon footprint when you go outside to find your future masterpieces ? Or at least tell us what to do with the chemicals: ie. How to get rid of them properly without damaging the planet? I know you probably weren’t doing this channel for that kind of content. But heh who knows ? I may have planted a seed in your mind.
Wellll, saving the world except for all the paint stripper, wood usage, air pollution, blades, tools, and energy grid usage, but yeah, he is a whiz at his craft, and he is doing a great job.
That dresser wasn't just ugly; it was dying -- and you performed CPR! Wow. You should absolutely win. We need longer "after" shots, though: opening and closing the drawers, especially that drawer you made, seeing drawer interiors, etc. Beautiful.
What a beautiful end result after all of the work you put into it. I like the curved wooden legs you actually used much more than the first option you considered. I wish the people who left this dresser on the curb could have a chance to see it transformed.

There are many really good restoration channels and I'm subscribed to them all!! Have you seen Barry from Mad City Modern? He's magnificent as well. I love how they both restore furniture rather than painting it and adding a bunch of stencils and decals. No offense to anyone who likes those, but it's always refreshing to see these trashed pieces rescued from the dump.

very nice to see, there's people who like old things and restore them . I like old things too, mostly second hand clothing . i buy them for about 50 cents per item , and turn it into patchwork ., like shoppingbags or plaids , my costumers buying it like crazy .and buttons too,i decorate my hoodies with it , so funny what you can do with second hand things . here in this appartement complex where old people live , i'd always ask them is they have wool or old cushions , and I turn it into new . i'm never out of work ,always staying busy , keeps you healthy in mind and body .
You really brought this piece from “rags to riches” and in all her new jewellery she looks so fine. If only perseverance and passion came in a spray can, we would be doing the same! There are many really good restoration channels and I'm subscribed to them all!! Have you seen Barry from Mad City Modern? He's magnificent as well. I love how they both restore furniture rather than painting it and adding a bunch of stencils and decals. No offense to anyone who likes those, but it's always refreshing to see these trashed pieces rescued from the dump.

very nice to see, there's people who like old things and restore them .
I like old things too, mostly second hand clothing . i buy them for about 50 cents per item , and turn it into patchwork ., like shoppingbags or plaids , my costumers buying it like crazy .and buttons too,i decorate my hoodies with it , so funny what you can do with second hand things .
here in this appartement complex where old people live , i'd always ask them is they have wool or old cushions , and I turn it into new .
i'm never out of work ,always staying busy , keeps you healthy in mind and body .
You really brought this piece from “rags to riches” and in all her new jewellery she looks so fine. If only perseverance and passion came in a spray can, we would be doing the same!
