    Love the detailed description of each step. Especially with installing the spindle nuts & washer. I'm about to do my ball joints and bearings so it was nice to see a clear and thorough how-to. Great video, thanks!

    which bearing is that you put in before the spindle nut? Do you happen to have the part number? Thank you

    I’m having a heck of a time getting my castle nuts on both spindles to go down far enough so that I can put the Carter pins back on the top sides. I’m afraid I’m gonna break something and they are all set to the 100 foot lbs on top and 70 foot lbs on bottom. Any recommendations?

    The old sleeve in my truck is seized in the axle did you leave the old one in?

      I just replaced the ball joints in my 78 K5 with Dana 44. After you torque the lower ball joint, I believe you are supposed to torque the upper sleeve to 50 lbs before you torque the upper ball joint nut.

      That's why I'm here. I'm not clear on how that sleeve adjusts anything with the alignment. It just seems like a compression fitting.
