- ( www.TFLcar.com ) Once upon a time you could buy a Toyota Prius in only one flavor. Today toyota hybrid buyers have a choice. As of 2012 Toyota now sells four flavors of their highly successful hybrid and these include the Prius, the Plug-in Prius, the Prius V and of course the Prius C. In this video review Dave spends a day living with the smallest Prius...the new Prius C to see what it is like to live with Toyota's newest and f course most fuel efficient hybrid Prius.

I like this guy. He's NOT one of the kinds that think a Prius is shit. A Prius wasn't made to drive like a BMW it was made to get 50MPG. Haters shut the hell up the world would be completely diffrent if the Corolla and Prius were not here.
Good review. Thanks.
We have two Prius hatchbacks. When the older one starts to have issues I'm thinking of getting a Prius C. These are great cars. We average 45 to 52 mpg. We have a combined 177,000 miles on the cars with ZERO problems. We haven't even had to change the brakes in the 2008 Prius.
Our Prius cars have over 20 Cu Ft of cargo space with the rear seats up. They both have spare tires (I won't buy a car without them). They both get great mileage. They have very good rear seat leg room.
I have few complaints about these cars but I hate the gauges being toward the center of the dash. I prefer the traditional gauges in front of the driver. I'm not a fan of the newly designed 2016 Prius hatchback model.
My brother has a Prius C and his experience is the same. Zero problems after three years.
Dave, it's nice the way u describe it... good job dude 👌👌 u've convinced many a buyer for Prius C.. ☺
Dave, I really like this way of doing reviews. I would actually say that I in many ways prefer it over the "traditional" review. Great job!
I didn’t realize you got your start on TFL. You go Everyman driver.
Great review Dave! You guys do a great job overall!
As far as turning radius, the car in this video has the OEM 16" wheels which means it's got a different steering system than the OEM 15" version. The turning radius is much smaller for 15" cars just so everyone is aware.
I wouldn’t even take my worst enemy to super cuts
Cool presenter, awesome car, very good video, hope there will be more of this stuff coming!
i love this style of video!!!
I knew this guy and Everyman driver looked familiar, I had no idea he got his start with TFL lol.
Really nice video! Enjoyed it :D
Fantastic review man
Great video Dave. I think I'll drop acouple MPGs for a Prius V, which is bigger and probablity more comfortable. I already got the Prius hatchback so the C and V are the only ones to chose from.
I like this video and review, different.
How come watching Dave getting his hair cut was more entertaining then watching the Prius drive around?
This review told me absolutely NOTHING.
great job dave!
Love this video!
This video inspires me not to get this car but to get a haircut
I personally think that the prius v is the one that will sell the best. Simply because it is the most practical for the average joe.
Not bad. I like the way it looks, but the I think I'd spend a little more and buy a standard Prius instead. The rear drums on the Prius C doesn't inspire too much confidence when driving down a mountain after a hike/bike ride/snowboarding session.
I like the concept. It gives people an actual impression of what it is like to own. But why with this car if it has already been tested before?
its reliable dont break down long engine life
Great video.
Almost 4 bucks a gallon? In Canada its like almost 5 dollars a gallon. You guys are lucky!
Prius C is for the people who doesn't like driving or doesn't care as long it reaches destinations - law bidding civilized folks
What a combo:Prius,Starbucks,Supercuts.
I don't understand; his hair looked fine before he cut it, not much difference after cutting it, so why bother?
See for yourself at 4:41
Focus on the car
It was product placement for Supercuts.
Willilly Bab hahaha "that feels so much better" all he got was gel in his hair😂😂
OMG I love Java frapps also!
The bike without front wheel on has to rest ontop of the passenger headrest in order to fit? If your alone, that's one thing, but if you have passenger (like picking up your kid and his or her bike), this would not fly. I do like the mountain bike test as I've picked up my kids and put their bike in the trunk of my Fusion many times (EPA 23/33), cost low 20s and no batteries or electric motor with real back seat room.
Love my C
The honda fit seems to be on the more expensive side! I guess the prius loses it's value a lot! Because initially it's thousands of dollars over the honda fit. But not when it hits certain mileage
Only 50 mpg? Come to Los Angeles.
Dave, you should do more videos for TFL.COM. Or be a NEWS CASTER, OR AN ANCHOR PERSON!" :)
anchor man dave from idahoooo!!!
the car gets good gas mileage but how far will we go just for a few extra miles when most people in a day well maybe not most a lot of people drive a lot of miles and far. they should come up with a car that can 3 days without recharging a battery or something but not have a gas engine
Tesla Model S: ~5 sec to 100 km/h, more than 500 km range.
please rewiew the 2013 focus ST
I just bought a Prius I have to say its a great high mileage car but it has a big blind spot on the rear of the driver side due to curvature of car. Other then that its a great car for being a niche market car. I don't support environmentalist movement this car has following it because reality is it still requires oil, gas, tires, batteries, and money. You can save the earth by being friendly, and knowledgeable because god takes care of the rest. Wish it came in a diesel and had a ultra capacitor paired battery pack then where talking about a great 100 mpg car.
"God takes care of the rest?" Really? What makes you think that is an invisible sky daddy up there to "take care of the rest?" It is up to us as tangible human beings to take care of our planet and all that lives on it, not some mythical being that comes from bronze age fairy stories.People like you, with misinformed ideas like you have is what will doom humankind. Each one of us has a duty to look after our charge(planet earth & and our fellow primates) there is no one else to do it for us.Please reconsider you're worldview.
Yes, god can take care of the rest because I am not going to spend time worrying about things I can't control. You of all people should understand that, you can't control the environment or any factor of the weather, can you? I will never surrender my belief in the lord for political movements or generational fads. I am not a Jones town camp member. If someone chooses to use plastic or paper bags more power to them. If your not aware everything on this green earth recycles right down to the minerals. Remember this the devil has his people and god has his people. The lord gave you a choice to believe in him or let man bring you down and everything man builds let you down. Time moves on and people forget about the environment. Besides god is love and understanding. What does environmentalism teach besides taking care of objects that will recycle on their own without human or animal intervention. My world view is none of anyone's affair.
egn83b Forget about the environment and instead believe in a invisible friend? You say you shouldn't worry about things you cant control, but why think you have an invisible friend that is watching out after you when there is no more evidence for god existing than say Santa Claus. Can you please explain your logic? I do not understand how someone can think this way.
Because if you pickup the bible and take a chance and believe in something beyond yourself and the things around you will find out who you are and where you stand in the world. Since you asked god is in spiritual form we are in physical form two different mediums but he offers life, truth, and guidance. When has a single politician or comic hero offered that?
egn83b Do you think the Bible is a reliable historic document? Do you think everything in the Bible is fact?
He's obviously hired for his look
Why do so many people post their Ls
guys wens the suv mashup beween crv,santafe,escape,rav4,cx 5 etc
the Prius C MPG is much better. can easily get 48-51 on highway 65mph
that is 3 days range how? thats more like half a days range..... oh and it costs 100K
what?..... barely anyone drives more than 60miles a day more than a few times a year. 3 day battery would weigh about 5 tonnes
+TJC450 do you still have a prius C considering getting one or a prius since I drive quite a bit!!
Oh wow
you could just take off the rear wheel of the bike before loading it to the prius
Can this car be jump
I can't believe they thought we would like to watch some guy getting a hair cut. come on.
i immediately stopped this video when the guy started making a K turn in his driveway
My dad buy Toyota Prius c car the color is blue at the shop
What a strange review...focuses exclusively on gas mileage (at the expense of the quality of the vehicle, which isn't very high on this little dud), then proceedes to go load up on a 7 dollar sugar bomb from *$...ok.
Lots of dry steering! Pity the steering joints and the tyres...
Richard King its not 1970 any more. Power steering is wonderful
aaaand it does NOT weigh 5 tonnes
Supercuts oh dear
It was probably clever product placement. Dave you looked jaundiced.
DanSodorXBfan Dave?
アクアやんPRIUS Cじゃないで?
What a waste of time..... He talks about the expense of gas, but then buys a 6 dollar coffee milkshake drink. The only value I received from this video is that now I know that a bike (with wheel off) will fit inside the Prius C. That was a concern for me.
Watch this shit
That car is ridiculously stupid....ill stick with my 5mpg city if you don't mind.
Pretty douchebag comment
