    Wow this is also a vegetarian dish! BTW, which brand of noodles you used? This dish serves 3?

    • @cokohkitchen562
      @cokohkitchen562  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The brand name is Sun Brand. This is about 3 portions in my family. 😅 Think it depends on individual appetite.

    Thanks to CB and a weak economy, been staying in cooking at home. Never tried cooking with this kind of noodles. Is there eggs in the noodles? Good idea for a quick, easy meat free meal day.

    What’s the ginger for at the start?

    • @cokohkitchen562
      @cokohkitchen562  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its to flavour the oil. And add the frangrance of ginger to the dish without having the person eating it.

    Butter?

    • @cokohkitchen562
      @cokohkitchen562  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know its unconventional. Just so happened to be running low on oil, so I substitute with a little butter. Turned out very delicious with a nutty fragrance! Totally optional. Can use just plain cooking oil

    Needs garlic

    • @cokohkitchen562
      @cokohkitchen562  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kenny Roberts its intentionally left out. The flavour is quite mellow, main flavours is mushroom and noodles. Didnt want the garlic flavour to overpower the dish. But if you like garlic, go ahead. 😊
