Hi Chef ! Can you make SARAWAK fav version of MEE TOMATO using the thinner YEE MEE?normaly they use kuey tiaw .. surely yours one will be a hits among sarawakian ..
I'd loved to sink my teeth on this for dinner , it goes with plain warm water , Ice-kacang Special topped with Ice-cream and decent amount of chocolate sos . Hahaha crazie and nice right 😅🤣🤣
Yup can use the exact same sauce recipe but change it to kueh teow or bihun or both!! :) but you’ll have to fry the kueh teow with some soy sauce and caramel and deep fry the bihoon for the best result!
Using Yee Mee out of the plastic bag, no no. Use fresh noodle and deep fried them in oil tastes better ==> called chicken combination in crispy noodle yummy.

Where can I find the fish stock here in M'sia? Never heard of it before.
You can find mostly in Minimart or Hypermart . Mostly located at condiment or sauce shelving .
You said there are different types of yee mee, thick ones and thinner ones. I hv also seen prefried mee sua. Will this go wt this cantonese gravy?

Googling fish cakes gets me 6 different food items! 😄 Is there a specific name I can try to find that with? I'm in Australia.
Hello, I think if you go to a Chinese grocery store and tell them you want fish cakes to stir fry with noodles they should sell it. :)
Thanks for the halal version. Also.. where do i get sole fish? Seasoning?
U can get from NSK Grocer, i hv seen it but it's rather expensive
