Have the Glasshute original senator excellence white dial and the Grand Seiko sbgm221 gmt and those two along with my Hanhart 417es will always be keepers! Great video the JLC is something I've always admired.
GO Pano watches punch well above their weight. If they were Swiss watches, they would be double the price. I tried a few on last month and was blown away. Wish I could justify buying one! GS also offer a lot of watch for the money. I have a Skyflake (i.e. blue snowflake) which I purchased at a great discount. Excellent watch, but it's a scratch magnet! As for JLC, that watch is great, but I'm not convinced it is the same value proposition as GO. Master Ultra Thin Réserve de Marche is nice too. Shame I missed the boat. Their watches were well priced pre-Covid.
All sound choices, particularly the GP. I know what you mean with the Snowflake and I’d like a spring drive watch but they are too thick. If I was going for a GS I’d get a 9F quartz movement, probably the Heritage GMT. What about a De Bunthe DB8 - worth it?
A valid reason to go for the quartz. With De Bethune - I don't think I can say either way, they're stunning pieces but I've never seen one in real life. I'm intrigued by them nonetheless though.
Nope. You are buying a watch, not marketing. Omega 'market' the hardest I would say. Christopher Ward and Studio Underd0g hype the most. No offence but which of the 5 watches have you ACTUALLY bought? The reason I ask is that it's just playground talk if you have no skin in the game. Opinions are all well and good, but telling others who are actually spending their money what to do based on photos/non ownership is bizarre. It's like never having driven a car but recommend it over another. Watches are about feel/tactility of ownership as much as looks. Not having micro adjust is a deal breaker for GS for a lot of people and you have consider servicing and repair costs. Marketing is just a scary word for advertising lol.
I'm surprised that i agree with all 5, albeit without the tag to a small degree but I'll let that slide because it's gorgeous in the gold. Plus I'm glad you didn't include any Rolex watches. I think we all need to take a step back and take our heads for a sh*t when it comes to Rolex
I'd love a seaq panorama.

Great selection
I would buy the laureato. I am thinking of buying that or a chopard alpine eagle.

I'm jealous of your Skyflake - seen some videos on it but never in person. Can only imagine how stunning it is!
Excellent recommendations.
GO has a 70s piece that is also very cool.
Particularly in green.
Green watches are always the best!

Editing mishap from 9:11 to 9:22. Great video, regards.
Ah damn there's always something! Thanks for the spot, I've put in a small cut.

When you cut out the marketing - as much as it hurts to say you've got to ignore them!
@Dougs_watches it actually doesn't hurt to say it though. They are good at what they do but not alone.
