They make some nasty semi-automatic Shotguns
Especially the clone of the benefits m4 And you can pick them up all day long from $300. Sometimes they're on PSA website for sale for like 199 and a lot of the a, K. Send the automatic shock on sand A. AR style shotguns on the. PSA website are Turkish. And I have buddies that have different guns. They bought from the PSA website that were budget. Bangers, all Turkish had not had one problem with them. I think one body had a problem. Trying to shoot a certain bird shot or some round that you shouldn't even be shooting out of a tactical shotgun. But he said after the gun broke and he could fire any shell out of it. We covered a few of the Girsan and Tisas 1911 options a few years ago. All nicely done, if there was one weak point it was no different than any other 1911, especially 9mm: the magazines. Give them good mags and they're issue free.

Do you know what breed your dog is in your picture? My dog in my picture, Grace, is mostly Bluetick Coonhound, and I think there's a resemblance to your dog. I got my dog's DNA tested a few years ago because people kept asking me what breed she was, but I really didn't know. I was surprised at how precise they got. She's 35% Bluetick Coonhound, 18.8% Labrador Retriever, 15.0% Great Pyrenees, 10.1% Australian Cattle Dog, 5.9% Boxer, 5.6% Chow Chow, and 9.6% Supermutt. My dog has double dew claws on both back legs, so we had guessed that she had some Great Pyrenees because of that. You have a cute dog!

This Honest Outlaw is spot on. First time to the range today and it was outstanding! Very good quality, and smooth. Cycled 100 rounds of Blazer 115 gr and 50 rds of 124 gr and no hiccups. Feels like my old Colt Commander but with a bit more heft and a controlled feel when firing. Accurate too. For a $400+ pistol it is hard to beat, and like that it has 9 rd mag capacity instead of 8.

Also the quality, fit and finish of the gun is is extremely tight and well made, the only thing is the trigger jingles a little if you shake the gun but over all it feels nice to shoot, but I want to do a trigger job and put some nice tritium sights on it and I think it would run just as well if not better than a $1000+ 1911. would highly recommend this 1911 if you're in the market for a budget one

Because of this video (which I've watched probably 5, or 6 times, it's actually what prompted me to subscribe to your channel), I'm pretty much sold on this pistol. I've always wanted a 1911, but didn't think I'd ever be able to afford one and was concerned about the cost, availability and somewhat limited range of .45 ACPs (compared to 9mm rounds). This solves all of those problems, plus I get a couple of extra rounds to boot! My income is pretty limited these days, but I started saving up right after my first viewing and am greatly looking forward to the day that I can finally pick one of these up. Greetings again from the Oil Patch in Central WY!
Thank you again for yet ANOTHER stellar, factually based reliable review!
I've got a Gun Show coming up this weekend here in WY and I'm going to be putting my CZ 85B/C up for sale (reluctantly, but I need to have a S/C carry piece and a reliable Full Size EDC as well (former for easy trips to town and the latter for longer distances).
I've been wanting to get a 1911 again (the Single Stack is STILL the most comfortable in my hand) and in 9mm, but NOTHING out there was both affordable and fit my Personal Carry Requirements (starting with a GOOD trigger; your review of the Taurus 1911 took it OFF my consideration list).
Your review of the Girsan has just catapaulted it the top of my list; as I can get enough from my pristine CZ for both it and a Taurus G3C (the Girsan for long hauls, the Taurus for Town Jaunts): same ammo (Federal HST 147gr JHP +P) two platforms. I'd like to wait for the 1000 round review but from what I've seen of other Turkish made guns, they seem to hold up rather well, so I'm willing to take a chance.
Lastly, when it comes to the Capacity Arguments, I would like to ask you to take a moment in a future video to mention the FBI Crime Data Stats referencing Civilian Involved Shootings, as they DIRECTLY relate to the Capacity Arguments: focus on the Average Number of Rounds Fired during the vast majority of Civilian Involved incidents.
FAR TOO MANY people seem to think that the 'person who wins' is the one who has a Large Capacity of rounds to just 'fling down range', rather than the REAL WORLD GOAL of Hits on Target! When you couple the FBI Data with the RWG of HoT, the capacity of a standard 1911 FITS the Bill! (for that matter, so do 99.9% of Wheel Guns).
So, if you would, please take time to mention these aspects in light of way too many people thinking they MUST have a 16-20 round capacity when they walk out their doors.
Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY

I was on the fence about Girsan, but I picked up a Girsan Regard Gen 4 (Beretta 92G clone) and (a) I love the light rail, (b) no failures after 400 rounds of lots of different types of ammo, and (c) the single action trigger pull is better than most Beretta 92s that I have fired. Glad to hear the 1911 is also reliable and may be worth picking up as a range toy.

    • @donkeypunch5138
      @donkeypunch5138 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

As cheap as it is it would make a pretty decent winter carry. Like, I would rather get an incident and lose a 500 dollar 1911 vs. losing a 1000-2000+ dollar 1911.
I had the chance to feel one of these out and tbh it felt pretty nice for what it is. To put it in perspective, I owned and carried a Taurus PT1911 for some years and while the I never had an issue with the Taurus you can just tell its quite sub par. Im a big 1911 guy and through the years I have picked up a bit of knowledge of them. Things I look for in a 1911 is,
      1. How tight is the slide to barrel AND how tight is the barrel to the barrel bushing. A quality 1911 will minimal to NO rattle coming from the slide and how it fits the barrel. A quality 1911 will have very little to NO wiggle room at the point where the barrel fits through the barrel bushing. This all equants to accuracy your going to get. I also like to feel how smooth the slide is. The more it feels like glass on glass the better. If you mess with Berettas you know what I mean when I say "glass slide".
      2. Obviously the better the trigger the better quality the 1911. A really good 1911 will consistently have about a 2.5-3.5 pound trigger pull. When it comes to triggers you can always get a trigger job or buy a after market trigger or hell, even send it off to someone like Wilson Combat and get it completely tuned up. So this is super important but I would say the less creep, the lighter the trigger, out of the box, generally the better quality the 1911.
Bottom line is the Girsan, really impressed me just feeling it out. I already have one of the best 1911's you could have as is and its a collectible so I don't carry that one, but I'm well acquainted with how well made it is and how it feels. The Girsan really didn't feel that much worse. the trigger is waaaay better than the Taurus 1911 I used to have and the reset is crisp and consistent. The slide feels great when in motion and everything felt really well fitted. Almost zero rattle. Zero barrel movement. My biggest concern is, will the metal be able to handle serious use. The gun doesn't feel cheap so there has to be something. I want top see what it looks like after 5000 rounds and a year or two of active carry. Going in and out of a holster, being banged on shit, getting left to bake in a hot car over the summers, and all of that. I'm also concerned with how fast this finish will rust if left to sit. Little things that matter a lot in all actuality.
