"Feels like a staple gun f**ked a High Point." That was hilarious!!
Fells?
Alright I corrected the spelling! I was one of the first to watch and comment, I wasn't paying enough attention to spelling.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Line of the day
Lmao agree 😂
1:36 Colt King Cobra
5:25 Beretta 80X Cheetah
8:41 Taurus PT 1911
11:06 Standard Mfg. S333 Thunderstruck
16:31 **Honorable Mention** Derringers
16:55 Altor Single Shot Pistol
obligatory thanks for this. also bugs me when youtubers don't make chapters or have a summary in the description. as the saying goes on comments like these: "you're doing the lord's work." 🙏
@@dogwalk3 to get you to watch the whole video...
Thanks maker of list!! We salute you!!
Seems like a weird thing to b1txh about sitting around like a couch potato watching videos all day.... or am I wrong?
Most people would just look at this list and move on to another video without watching this one.
Why make a video when you can just post a list??
If Honest Outlaw is SMART he'll NEVER spoil a list with chapters or any type of pre indicator.
21 minutes of pure comedy gold. A top 10 list would be appreciated.
My original S&W Shield was $250 used. Included a holster and 4 mags. When deals like that are out there, imagine buying a double barreled snub nose 22mag lol
Chris, when you laughed in the face of a shit show, told me just how much you were disappointed in the Beretta. You wanted it work so badly, you were willing to bleed to give it a chance. That's why I love this channel. Keep up the great honest work!
I saw that final gun at the gun store and had to investigate. When the employee took it out and showed me how it worked, I laughed really hard, apologized for wasting his time, the bought the ammo I actually came for 😂
I have one of the Altor 9mm single shot pistols. Paid $119 for it. I wanted it because it's so different. But, it does hurt to shoot 124gr +P with it 😊.
to be fair, they make more on ammo than on guns, i think.
I really dig that they brought the Cheetah back, but practically (and economically speaking), the Ruger Security 380 does that job waaaaay better for less money. Kind of sucks about the ergo issues, glad you showed us how it beat up your hand. People were apparently saying that about the Ruger American 9mm when it first came out.
Wish the 80X had offered a .32 version. I get it, the days of the .32 are long, long gone. But it's the sweet spot for a pistol like the Cheetah. My 81BB is one of my favorite pistols to shoot.
Watching your videos I must say, my compliments to your wife. (I think she is your videographer) Your videos are always recorded exceptionally well. They are always clear, crisp and well edited. The audio is also always well done, even when the wind is kicking up. Great job. Just thought I would mention it.
I enjoy when she shoots as well.
She does a good job. love this channel
Yeah, Mrs Outlaw is the smart one. A great couple.
She makes the clock tic!!
@@inquisitive980Her shooting has really improved in the last year or so ...
Hopefully CZ will raise Colt's standards and improve QC. There's a lot of potential there for management who want to run the company the right way.
The recent manufactured colts we have at the shop are amazing. I wasn’t a big fan of them before but these are perfection. They have a fluid polished feel that is amazing. They are much nicer than even the S&W performance center revolvers we have. I haven’t handled a recent King Cobra to be fair though.
Colt has done the exact opposite to every gun company they've ever merged with!! 😊
Recent reports are that colt is dragging CZ USA down to their level. CZ bailed on their new factory they were given the land for free to build, CZ has discontinued a ton of products, and in the recent months there has been a large uptick in QC complaints at CZ. Plus the whole 600 Trail thing, that turned into a disappointment.

@@bower31 CZ discontinues a bunch of sky’s every year because of the change even the smallest think the old sku gets discontinued, but this year has been a little different, I haven’t been able to get any clear answers from out rep on the cause of things but CZ is pretty much handing over USA production to Colt, I don’t know if that was part of the contract for CZ buying them or part of something that helped them to keep the Colt people on. I hadn’t heard of any problems with 600 series of rifles, can you elaborate? I’m a little concerned also because Colt had zero experience with polymer manufacturing and they are going to be running the production for the p-10’s, us portion of the Scorpions and other models. I’m also concerned that this will negatively impact imports of the Czech made guns, which are already hard to get because they come in like 2 to 3 times a year.
This is a great theme for Chris to show his comedic skills. The more serious reviews don’t allow him to show his funny, comedic side nearly as much. Fun video!
Your honest review provides valuable insights, especially for those looking to make informed choices when it comes to purchasing a new handgun.
This is why you're the only guntuber I trust anymore. Couldn't agree more about the 80x, it amazes me how much praise it gets.
Paid praise.
I love mine and I’m not paid.
@@omarslim3362yeah, sure. The one *not* defending the dogshit .380 caliber pistol is the tofu eater.
@@CrashRacknShoot “dogshit” ah, such nuance.
@@Hornet135 I'm a poet.
Ruger LCP Max for me. Wanted to love it, even upgraded the trigger and recoil spring to try and make it more comfortable to shoot and it's still the worst feeling hangun shooting wise I've ever shot. Sold it for a P365 .380 and couldn't be happier.
I too sold my Ruger LCP Max and bought a Sig P365 .380ACP. I couldn't agree more with your experience, although the LCP MAX is a better Summer carry.
The upside of owning a .380 is your boyfriend/husband won’t ever accidentally grab your gun.
365 is so good in .380. Especially with the 12rd mag. Fits like a glove. Shoots like a cap gun.
And if he carries a ruger, you set the bar too low.
The lcp is just two small to enjoy shooting, it’s great if you want a tiny gun. The 365 is a good compromise between small and shootable.
Man I really like how you always mention the kids and trying to help them it's really good
I would have to say one of my most hated pistols was the double action AMT backup in .380. It had potentially the heaviest trigger pull I’ve ever experienced. It’s not too late - they’re still out there in the wild to be experienced… Thanks!
I don’t agree with all your selections here, but I respect your picks because you clearly explained why you had trouble with each of these. Good video.
Putting dependability and accuracy aside, everyone has their own preferences just like shoes. I listen to everyone's advice and comments then filter through them for accuracy and what's important to me.
I definitely noticed the same thing with the 80x and the recoil. I was pretty surprised tbh. It also hits way low for me with no way to adjust the sights.
Had an 85F for 20 years. Wanted to love it. Smacked my hand like a fastball hit off center on a cold day. One of the few guns I’ve sold. It sat in the safe for most of those 20 years. Another story: when I took it to the PD to register, they said to pull the magazine and dry fire into a tube. I tried to explain the magazine safety and they looked at me like I was an idiot. No, it won’t fire without the magazine. Wanted to love it; hated to shoot it.
@@6thmichcav262 i feel the same way about this 80x, well made and everything just don't think it's for me but I'm going to give it some more time and practice with it...
I was in the market for a larger 380. After waiting for the 80x to come out after the P365-380 I ended up going with the Security-380. I like the sight set up from the factory and a full grip with 15 rounds is really nice.
I got a night sight put on instead of a fiber optic and forgot to lube the gun. It did not run well without lube so I would recommend you remember to do that unlike my dumb ass 😂
I'm not defending the 80x. Never shot it and don't care for .380, so I have no dog in the fight. But I promise you it isn't shooting low. Anyone with anything critical to say about it always says it's way too snappy for .380. That low impact is you pushing against it when anticipating recoil.
If you ever shoot it again, pay very close attention to every finger not in the trigger guard and make a very conscious effort not to tighten them just before it cooks a round off. Also make sure to let the shot surprise you so you don't slap the trigger. I guarantee it won't shoot low anymore. Just a helpful tip!
@@CrashRacknShoot I agree with what your saying typically
But the one 380 I own. (Lcp max) also shoots low. Which is a well known thing with the lcp family.
Maybe it's common in 380s
I have a Taurus 1911 and when i first got it i would have agreed with you about the reliability but once i tossed the Taurus mags and started using good mags that fixed the reliability issues.
Wilson Combat ftw
@@littlekingtrashmouth9219 that's what mags I bought.
@@dgdinwiddie the extension mags are good. I never had a problem with the Taurus 1911. I had a 605 replaced, but that’s a revolver
As a fellow giant ( 6'7, 350+) you and Hickok45 are my go to reviewers. Because of our larger frames guns fit differently for us. Plus your honesty is the best.
One category that is rarely mentioned “I hate to shoot”👍
@ChickennuggetSandwichV
"if a staplegun fucked a hi point this is what we have" 😂😂😂
Wow I am glad you mentioned #5. I was going to "upgrade" from a perfectly good Ruger sp101 to a Colt King Cobra.
I got a rock island 1911 14 years ago as my first handgun. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had a problem. Love and carry that gun every time I carry full size.
I love Beretta Cheetahs - I own an 84 and 85, but I have the same issue. I have big hands (I am 6'2) and it beats the crap out of them. I can shoot them quite a bit before it gets real uncomfy, and I havent had any blood letting due to shooting them - but it starts to get a bit painful. I am still glad I have them - but everyone who shoots mine with normal / smaller hands loves them and doesn't have the same issue. Lol.
good to know. Same dimensions and have an interest in this design. One would have to fall into my hands now
I know there are too many 1911 brands to list, but rather than getting a Girsan or Rock Island, I'd pay just a little more for a Ruger 1911. I've enjoyed shooting two different variants. Also, the Bul Armory SS 1911 is super impressive for $800. Great front and backstrap stippling.
I have a RIA 1911 and my accuracy/speed is pretty good considering I typically have only shot 9mm. I want to upgrade to a different 1911 but it’s working so far so hey 🤷🏽♂️😂 if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it
And I’d say spending a little more for something that isn’t filled with mim parts makes even more sense.
To each their own. Some people like Chrysler, I like Toyota.
I paid $250 on a brand new RIA. It has great trigger, never misfired and eats anything with 3 different mag brands I tested.
Plus the fixed black sights makes it more challenging at the range 😂
For the sub 1k 1911 the Magnum Research/Bul Armory 1911’s are untouchable. Unfortunately Rugers price increases have made them not such a good value as they used to be. They have had to almost double the salaries of their employees to get them to come back to work.
The Bul Armory is a great option that punches way above its price point, I have the Magnum Research which is made by Bul in 10mm and it’s my favorite 1911 I own and that includes two Dan Wessons
Great Video. It was good to hear you talk about the other 1911s. Would absolutely love to see you do a full video on all different 1911s.
Great video and entertaining to watch. Your casual conversation-type choice of words is great.
I heard the reason for the double finger trigger pull on the thunderstruck 22 mag-it was so that the gun would technically only be firing one shot per trigger pull. If it were designed with a standard trigger it would become a "machine gun" according to certain regulatory agencies
My 1911 tarus was one of my first guns bought. Probably shot 5000 rounds though and ive never had an issue. Its def old and worn but still works perfectly.
I had two LCP2’s in 380 that were painful to shoot. I’m glad they came out with the LCP Max that is just uncomfortable! Good video as usual…
Love your channel. Never miss a vid. Would love to see a top 5 handgun series of each caliber. Top 5 .22's. Top 5 .38's. Top 5 9mm etc etc.
I kind of like the Altor because you could throw it in your toolbox and people would just think it was a rivet gun or something.
Your Taurus PT1911 must have been made on a Monday morning!
My Taurus has a 3lbs. Trigger, it never jams and is a joy to own. In comparison to my other four 1911's, it is top notch. But maybe that is attributed to it's manufacturing date of 2012, yeah mine is one of the polished then blued version's that is drop dead gorgeous. No Parkerizing on this beauty...
Well that is problem with Taurus. You never know what you will get.
@aljosaskrabelj8412 I actually got some pretty fine firearms, Starting with the TX .22 LR, to the PT-1911, to the stainless 92 standard, stainless steel polished and ported 8 & 3/8" .44 Magnum, and the matching 6" .357 Magnum. They are all very nice weapons...
I've had several Springfield 1911s and love them all. My friend did get one that has a terrible trigger though, he called Springfield, they sent him a return shipping label, and they fixed it for him under warranty. So no complaints there.
The thumbnail screencap, with you smiling slightly, is pretty funny Chris. Thanks for taking one for the team, five times here!
One other thing that you have to consider about the Beretta Cheetah is that the recoil spring is going to be stiffer due to the blowback operation. That's why there's more force needed to retract the slide. As you mentioned, the recoil is stiffer due to the blowback operation unlike the Beretta 92. I've shot a Beretta 84 and 85 in the past, and once you get through a magazine, you get used to it. Of course, I have smaller hands than you do so my experience has been different so far.
While you're not wrong, it's silly to have a .380 the size of many compact 9s, heavy recoil spring, and cost $800, yet still be so snappy, un-ergonomic, and BLOWBACK OPERATION. In an era of $200 LCPs having short recoil lockup, there's no good reason to be blowback, other than homage to the original Cheetah. And hey, that's OK, but the finished product needs to be better if you want $800 for all that.
@@ShadowsOfGames How can it be un-ergonomic, it's not a tiny gun that requires less fingers on it like so many of it's competitors.
"he Ruger LCP is a single stack, blowback-operated, semi-automatic pistol chambered in . 380 ACP"
I don't think that pistol is short-recoil lockup, unless they changed it.
I have small fat hands, so I love the 80x, it’s my carry gun, and for whatever reason imprint less than the xmacro I had
This was probably one of the best, funniest gun videos i've seen. Pure comic gold while also being informative and do not buy list! lol
A buddy of mine and I bring your videos up in conversation continually. Keep doing what you're doing.
I have been looking at the 80X for a few months and was planning on getting it when gun prices go down next year. You are the first person to go over the negatives and it made me rethink purchasing it. You saved me $600. I appreciate it.
Outlaw know his guns! If he said it’s crap just be careful and not step in it 🤔😳😂
Or you could, IDK, hold it in your hand before you make a decision. He says it feels bad and/or hurts him every time he holds it.
If you pick one up and nothing unpleasant happens, you're not going to have exactly the same experience as him.
beretta has good guns but there qol and service sucks so big i let it be
$600? I have not seen it available for that price
The one thing I will say for the Taurus 1911 is that learning to shoot on a cheap 1911 will improve your skill as a shooter. It's like mastering parallel parking a pickup truck and than trying it with a compact car. I first learned to shoot on a $400 Rock Island 1911 (better than the Taurus but still cheap) and it drastically improved my skills. A cheap 1911 teaches you to manage recoil, clear jams, and develop other essential skills. It's a crazy thing to shoot a high quality pistol for the first time after really mastering a cheap entry level 1911. The skills you learned from that gun will apply to the superior one and make you better overall.
That actually makes a lot of sense.
Or buy a nice 1911 and have a high quality weapon forever and not something to be embarrassed about. Same goes when you sell it
@@HWG-wm8ld No reason I can't have multiple 1911s, which I do. Still, the point remains if you learn to shoot on a cheap crappy gun it makes you a better shooter later on when you shoot something high end. Master a Taurus or a Rock Island and then see what you can do with a Wilson Combat or a Dan Wesson.
This is spot on. Did the same for years then tried one of those Walther race gun things from some random guy at the range and shot a 1 hole group at 7 yards without even really trying. Changed my perspective and the guy seemed a little embarrassed lol.
Can do the same thing with microcompacts tbh. For a year I shot my SIG p365 above everything else, I have never improved so fast. Switching back to a nice or full size or both gun was like rock lee taking the weights off
You do the best and most honest Gun reviews that I have ever seen in 40 years!
Fyi when you are talking negatively about a couple firearms, I'm actually sitting in my living room saying " Wow, no kidding, thanks for telling me that." Especially the Colt . So definitely don't feel bad.. you are helping us. We are out here !
I was laughing so hard at this video. The Thunderstruck remark about a Hi Pointe f##cking a staple gun really was hilarious. I also like Mrs. Outlaw be wise to standing Behind you when you shot it. As for that Altor, You deserve a medal for bravery for managing to shoot that thing without getting shot by the gun. Are you sure the parts for that gun didn't come from leftover Caprice shifter or turn signal stalks? LOL And thanks for doing the video earlier on the Taurus 1911 because at one time I was really wanting a 1911 and couldn't afford a Colt, Smith & Wesson or Springfield. I saw a Taurus 1911 with the skeletonized trigger and ambi safety for a good price. I was gonna buy it but saw the video about the one you had so I ignored the Taurus and eventually bought a Rock Island Armory 9mm 1911A1. Thanks for helping me dodge that nightmare!
Interesting observation about the Taurus PT1911. I bought mine when they were first introduced, paid $800-ish for it, and I've had zero problems with it. Keep in mind that Girsan didn't exist back then and R.I. was shit tier. Trigger breaks at a consistent 4 & 1/2 lbs. 🤷🏻♂️
I have a Pt1911 too. It's not the prettiest 1911, but it shoots well and the trigger is definitely not heavy. I wonder if there are different versions of it.
Same story here. I think he was exaggerating about the trigger being 9lbs
Hey Chris! I had the same trigger issue with the Taurus 1911. Try changing out the hammer. I changed mine out with no other modifications and the trigger was a night and day difference.
Great video! I appreciate an honest review, esp since I was looking at the colt and Beretta!
I can’t get enough of your videos. More than anything else I love the fact that you call a spade a spade unless it’s an f’ing shovel. Keep up the good work. Still waiting on the 1000 round review of the Anaconda.
I'd like to see you revisit the PSA dagger. I believe your first review was when they were new, hard to get, and cost $600. Now they are easy to get and you can get them with slide cuts, optic ready, threaded barrel, tall sights and awesome colors for around $300. The trigger is still lacking, but swap it with $70 worth of ebay parts (or better) and you have an awesome cheap gun. I'm curious about the new micro option also.
They are still trash. PSA is where I got to the gun range often. Every once in awhile, I will try one out. Nope. Their AR-15’s, not too shabby for the price.
They’re honestly great guns. They’re just another Glock 19 clone but I know multiple people who have put a lot of rounds through theirs with no issues. I only shot about 400 rounds through mine but I’ve had no problems.
Love this!!!
Amazing how two revolvers from the same manufacturer can run so different. I have a Ruger 6" Security Six that I adore and a 4" Security Six that I hate. The trigger on the 4" SUX so bad.
A lot of people say the Taurus pt1911 had a heavy trigger and some say theirs was light. Mine is extremely light and crisp. It's also been more reliable than my g19. Also crazy accurate. I have no gripe at all with my pt1911.
So many people have issues with the Taurus 1911 but I’ve had mine for over 10 years and its been great.
Taurus products are far too many dumpsters per diamonds ratio for me
@@darrengarcia4937 that's what I've been hearing. So I doubt I'll be getting any newer stuff from them have a couple revolvers that have been good also but again older stuff.
Yeah. 99.5% of Taurus guns run perfectly fine. 0.5% error rate is way too high.
The last gun you hate the most is the gun that the government wants us all to have (single shot 9mm).
Don't kid yourself. The government would take away your single shot 9mm, your pellet rifles and BB guns, your archery equipment, your knives, and even your sharp pointy sticks if they thought they could get away with it.
Based on some of the stuff Biden has said, I think they'd rather we all had single shot .22's if we're allowed guns at all.
Not true, former Vice President Biden said to go get a double barrel shotgun.
@@TheSonicdude98I wouldn't be suprised if they pulled the crap they do in some countries where civilians can't own a military caliber.
Thankfully, the world going to crap has caused even more regular people to like the idea of having their own means of protection.
Do you nutters ever get tired being paranoid victims all the time? We live in the country where with minimal checks you can own an automatic weapon...but sure, Biden is coming for your guns...eyeroll
One more for you, the S&W Mountain Revolver. Light alloy frame, short 4" bbl, and 44 Mag. Supposedly for backpackers in bear territory. But the recoil was pure fire up my arm, right to the shoulder point.
Great "top 5" video! A few months ago my wife took me to a gun store and basically said, pick out whatever you want. I was in the market for a decent 357 revolver. Just like you, I was disappointed in the Colt King Cobra. The trigger pull was the worst! I ended up getting a Ruger GP 100 in 4 inch stainless. That trigger is superb! I own a RIA 1911 45 and find that it is also a great value for the money. My wife picked that one out and let me get it as a gift for helping her start her business. It was a memento of the first handgun I fired in the military decades ago.
You’re not alone on the Cheetah. I’m just under 6ft with a XL hand, bit me too.
So 5'10"?
I think the 80x is a really nice looking gun. I had the same big hand issues. I've gone through a bunch of 380s including glocks, keltecs, rugers, but eventually I bought the old bersa back from the guy I sold it to. I had a pt1911 once. I must have got a good one. It wasn't terrible. Love your videos.
I like my Bersa too, thats my "walking the dog" gun. With the deluxe mag & one in the chamber you get 10 rounds.
I like my Bersa as well. Got the combat plus variant so it's smooth on the draw and has 15+1. Decent price, as well.
Better to be honest about your experiences with the products than to be biased by paid for promotion. Thanks for the reviews you do and being honest about it. Kudos.
How hard Chris laughs when he first shoots the altor always cracks me up 😂
I love Beretta, but I trust your judgement. I was never playing on getting the Cheetah anyway
I would give it a chance. I think he is having big hands problems with it, and everyone else has said it’s fine. Having said that, I am a little Beretta tramp and really want a PX4 compact as my next piece.
same for me, px4 next beretta pistol. I'm not interested in getting a 380, just because I'd have to get new ammo that I'm not really that excited about @@Thabosshoss
I’m surprised with the experience you had with the Colt King Cobra. I have the 2” version and honestly I can shoot it better than than my 4.25” Python. My wife shoots it really well also.
Your channel is called the honest outlaw, keep up the good work. Thank you
I’m been on the fence about getting a Girsan, thanks for letting me know about it
I have been very happy with my Remington R1...it came with a match grade barrel when I bought it years ago. The only failure to feed was a result of some stupid ass defense ammo one of my kids gave me. Off your review I did go with a Girsan regard instead of the 92. Not one failure and the FDE finish is pretty sick.
holy shit we found one
There’s lots of them. It’s my daily dose of comedy.
Really don't enjoy being called a Fudd for what I like. See Ya!
I still haven't forgiven Beretta for shipping the 92x without being optics ready.
Same here I was one of the first to get the M9A4 and your first RDO plate was supposed to be free but I had to pay for mine
King Cobra was giving me memories of my S&W Model 69 in 44 mag with a 2.75" barrel I had for bears...most unpleasant gun to shoot ever because of light weight and short barrel. I can feel my right hand going numb 🫠 It was exceptionally well made.
My aunt's joe dirt boyfriend had a deringer . He said "watch this billy badass". He fired and the recoil nailed him, punching himself right in the face. There was a perfectly square hammer imprint right between his eyes. You could see the gnarled texture for a few seconds until it started gushing blood.
“If a staple gun fucked a high point here we go”😂😂😂😂
The HK fan boys are going to hate what I’m about to say, I have the same issue with my VP9 That you have with that Beretta 80X, every time I shoot it bust open my thumb on the second knuckle and actually tears the skin right off and leaves it raw
I'm an HK fan... never liked the VP9. The P30, USP, and HK45 are great.
Have you tried changing out the back straps and grip panels? That might help you make it a better fit for you.
@@jameshedrick4490 yeah tried that, guess my hands are to big for the frame size
@@Scott079 Weird. I'm 6'3 and have huge hands to the point it's hard for me to find gloves that fit me. My full sized HK vp9 with the largest back strap and side panels is among the guns that fits best it my hand and is most comfortable to shoot. You're not talking about the vp9 SK by chance? i could definitely see that being really hard to shoot well for someone with big hands.
@@MrSmith-zy2bp My HK 45 Tactical is one of my favorite guns I own.
My son is 6', and doesn't have Andre the Giant hands, but hasn't had the unfortunate issue that you've had with the Cheetah. He's got over a thousand rounds on the Sig P365XL, and love it. He now has the Cheetah, with a Holosun EPS Carry on it. He raves about it. YMMV. For him, it' softer shooting than the 365 and tack driver accurate. Now, that said, he doesn't like my Wilson SFX9, so, everyone's different!
fun list and great commentary. I actually have a 1980's Cheeta and quite like it. It is fits my medium sized man hands a bit better than a double stack 92. Both are beautiful guns. Now a real Colt 1911 is what I learned to shoot so that informs all my expectations.
Chris, you made me laugh a lot. Good stuff. As for the Taurus PT 1911, I have to agree. I bought one for a beater range gun for family and friends to shoot when they come to visit the ranch and want to go shooting. If I can find someone to work on that gun, I may tell them, go through it, make it work, here is a check, write the numbers in and I will drink whiskey for the pain. On mine, the trigger is poor. The real kicker is the safety. The safety will not stay engaged!!! If ever a gun was designed around a safety it is the 1911. I am sure the spring that pushes the detent ball out is absent or extremely weak. Also, the finish. Very poor.
I love the Cheetah 🇮🇹❤️
Of course I prefer bigger calibers but it is a lil’ nice gun 👍
Top 3 favorite firearm TH-camrs, thank you for all your videos. Peace and blessings.
Love your top two, neither look like a gun! Good stuff!!
Taurus Judge: I am the dumbest revolver EVAR!
SM Thunderstruck: Hold my beer.
I had to talk a family member out of buying one of those ridiculous things. There is zero chance she could have reliably pulled the horrendous trigger.
I hate all the guns you shoot because I can't afford to shoot them 😭😭😂
Great work, I talk guns to friends and your work comes up. Often.
I do enjoy my king cobra but they did have qc issues. Due to that I really looked over the one I got. The feature I liked least for the price paid was the grips. Right after the grips is the crappy front sight. I do enjoy shooting it at the range but definitely understand it making the list.
Also I love my Rock Island compact 1911 with upgraded grips.
Staple gun fucked a highpoint!! 🤣 Can't stop laughing!
Havent finished the video yet, but if the diamondback DB9 isnt on this list, the other guns must be extra shitty
Parts of this cracked me up. I have a Rock Island 1911 that I have owned for like 12 years. I liked it so much that I traded my old Springfield 1911 away because the Rock actually shot better for me! And believe me, that SA 1911 was a sweet pistol. Sometimes inexpensive can be good! Both Taurus semi auto pistols I have owned were problem children. So never again. But their revolvers have been very good for me. Odd how that stuff can go. Love your work here. Thanks!
That last one looks like a homemade gun. I don't care what you say about the King Cobra, I still want to get one someday because it looks like the .357 from MW 2019. Get a cyclops derringer.
I would really like to see you review the hell out of Grandpower Xcalibur
I always thought the Cheetah was for people that wanted a Beretta but couldn't get permission from their wife to get a 92.
Got both the 81bb in 32 acp is a sweet shooter, shot the 84fs in 380 those legitimately suck.
Lol imagine needing permission from your wife to get a gun.
i am large handed as well so the 80x problem I am verry familiar with and also agree about Derringers. You commented buying the standard as a joke gun and you mentioned High Point, well I bought a C9 YEET CANNON as a range joke gun but have to admit for its flaws such as grip texture, mass, weight (I like heavy guns so the weight really is a no issue for me) it is a surprisingly accurate and reliable gun. Shockingly it is more reliable than the glocks I own.
My Taurus 1911 i really like now. Mine sesveral several yrs old. I have the light kit rail. I had to have holster made. The Taurus holster for it DID NOT FIT, WTF, afew other parts replaced//upgraded, now i love it. Christmas gift from my now young adults
I had heard good and bad things on the cheetah! So good to know! I trust what you say because like you I handle a lot of bolt action rifles being I collect them and hunt with them a lot! Another great video👏
I really enjoyed this! Very clever! Thanks for the warnings.
Dude, you had me crying , I was laughing so hard. The double barrel and the crazy single shot were both hysterical. Keep up the good work, and Thank You!
I have a first year production PT 1911, it has a 4.5lbs trigger and is nicely finished with some slight machining marks in the mag well. I don't care for the giant white relief lettering on the slide, but it's been accurate and reliable, so it's sad to hear that Taurus has let another well made line decline. I had an early PT92 that I loved, accurate, reliable, well made, so I bought my son a stainless 92 with a rail, later production. The later production stainless shot two feet high at 20 yards with a fixed front sight (so yeah, almost an impossible fix) It was warrantied but my son didn't want the Hassell and sold it. He'll never own another Taurus and I'm cautious.
Your number one is really for animal Vets to use for disspatching said animals, it was first a 22 cal but you know the gun industry, love your content and your wife is the bomb!
Revolver nut here. Was excited for Colt to finally come back to the revolver world. But their quality control and lack of refinement/rush to market issues are massively disappointing. I really prefer guns that don’t have major problems I have to deal with for their duration. If I buy a firearm, I want something I can be content with from purchase to far in the future.
I put a high visible sight on the front of my King Cobra and put Altamont target g4ips on it as well and it really helped.no issues at all with mine
I have the same bleeding issue with my Baretta 92x Centurion!
Great video, Chris ! I would say that we all have this one firearm that when we pull it out of the safe, we say,"What the Hell was I thinking, when I bought this " ? I'd like to see you do a video of the worst handgun to buy at five different price points. I think that most new shooters out there have a limit as far as the price they're willing to pay for a first time buy and this type subject would serve as a guide to making the right purchase. How is the new casa progressing ?
I'd love to see a 5 gun on pocket pistols.
Thanks for another awesome 5.
I’ve got a 6 inch Girsan 1911 with a lower rail in 10mm. It’s my first 1911 and I love the thing. It’s my daily carry.
I love the colt snake slayer 410 haven't shot really any small hand guns but love the look
