- In this video I complete the achievement called Gold Rush. For this achievement we need to start as the nation of the Great Horde and need to form the Golden Horde before the year 1500. This achievement is difficult for beginners but its not that hard if you know what you are supposed to do.

that's how you play as a horde, if you dont raze, you'll be losing out on monarch power and cash
@@alexbattaglia8297 This has the implications that if you don't have Cossacks you'll always be losing in monarch points and cash as a horde. Which is completely true.

The Wars you described as hard were kinda super easy. and the Wars that were described as easy were a piece of Cake, You kind only need to know the Terrain Stuff to really make the most out of a Horde, I did not know that.

Finally found one legit guide on GOLD RUSH!!!!! One thing I still can't get around is the constant manpower starving, still haven't get use to the new Merc mechanic (I haven't been playing since 2.27). Would like to know more on how you manage the Merc and regular troops ratio. Thanks Mate!!
I’ll definitely do a video that discusses merc to non merc ratios in the current patch. But generally in the early game my stacks will be half merc and half non merc. You can do this by linking a merc stack to a non merc stack. Early game is def the hardest time to manage manpower especially with this achievement, that’s why it’s so important that you always take good battles and always on flat terrain

I just got this achievement this week first time playing as a horde, very different. At normal difficulty I managed to get Poland to ally me, promised Muscovy land, they were rivals and they did all the heavy lifting. Best part I let them separate white peace so I didn’t have to give them anything
I like the finish national anthem in the beginning.
You can make manpower management a lot easier by granting the tribes estate privilege that gives you 20% extra manpower in the beginning
Still a good Guide. Even though Ai Updates probably make it harder now.

Do you play a campaign and then edit the boring stuff out and record your commentation on top? Or do you play while recording your commentation live and then edit the whole video? Or something else i didn't think about...any info or link to some forum guide will be of great help:) Thanks

four years later, I tried doing this achievement, but a lot has changed. for example, every single time I booted up 1444, Crimea allied Kazan, and in many cases an anatolian minor like Candar. your strategy relies on Crimea having no allies at the start, so it would be really nice if you could do a revision on this.

Razing provinces gives you money if it hasn’t been looted, so only spend time looting provinces that you aren’t going to take

The big downside of being an orthodox horde is that you'll struggle to consecrate metropolitans, either because of razing or because so much of the land in the region is low dev garbage.
Great point! I’m thinking of doing a one faith as Byzantine horde but I ran into this problem
Maybe early game but you earn so many powerpoints that you will easily be able to develop areas to consecrate.
