This agrees with what I've found trying various trackers. The Galaxy watch to me seems to be the best I've tried at detecting when you are awake. It most consistently records middle of the night and early awakenings and seems to fairly accurately detect when you fall asleep too. if you are most concerned with total sleep time and tracking insomnia, it seems quite good for that. However, sleep stage tracking seems to always have been quite bad and it tends to report a VERY low amount of deep sleep. For me personally I've stuck with the galaxy because generally tracking total sleep time and wake periods is my main concern and I put little faith in the sleep stage tracking.

I've had a Galaxy Watch 5 pro now for a few months. I've been using Samsung watches since the first one came out, traded to the watch 3 for free as an add-on to my last Galaxy phone, then got the 5 pro for around $100 with a trade of my watch 3 when I upgraded that phone. I'm mainly concerned with its synchronization with my phone for calls and messages. They only health feature that really matters to me is heart rate, since I have bradycardia, so I like to keep track to make sure it doesn't go too low. I love the look of the 5 pro. You should show the average heart rate of each session as well. The watch(like all watches) undoubtedly loses some peaks on the hr but at least watch 4 catches the average hr very well. It's usually 3-5 beats off when I compare with the polar h10. You should consider this because the peaks don't last much during the session. The average heart rate is most important for ordinary people, like you and me. Of course, there is another conversation when we talk about pro athletes. I think it's much more important to examine the distance and the pace during running and generally the GPS. Watch 4 is not so good at it. Usually is shows 10"/per km slower than the polar, which is indeed significant.
Hey! I feel like you should revisit this watch once again because Samsung finally enabled the temperature sensor on this watch. I believe the temperature sensor was disabled when it was initially launched and they turned it on somewhere around April of this year. It should lead to very different results?
I have a few questions on your methodology Do you reapeat your tests on each device to ensure reliability? Do you test devices on other device users to ensure - inter rater reliability? Skin tone is also a factor on these light based sensors. You are rating these devices against the Polar heart monitor. Where is the data to show that it is the gold standard of Heart rate measurements? Can this data be classified as scientific if it is measured on one person by one person?
Despite the inaccuracies, I bought this watch after seeing this video and some heavy consideration. The watch is able to do more than just fitness track. It is also customizable connecting to apps in the Play Store, which works well for me. Seems to me this is the best Android compatible option. Thank you for your extensive research!
@@jakubsmihula6412 I'm still satisfied with it. Although, it is a glorified reminder tracker to me now. But, it has allowed me to answer calls and text without the use of my phone. Since my phone is an older model, it won't let me use the camera function.
I think these tests do not cover the real data at all. Sensors are identical in many watches. However, the correct measurement result of the sensor largely depends on how the watch is in contact with the skin. This will be different for each watch, as the size of the watch and the surface of the back cover also vary. The diameter and shape of the wrist also varies. And most importantly: the tension of the watch strap has a decisive influence on the measurement. Watch5 Pro's watch band is very easy adjustable, while other watches cannot be adjusted, only based on the holes on the band. If you have tightened the strap of the Watch5 Pro in a different way, for exemple like in case of Watch5, all measurement results will be distorted. These measurements would only make sense if you set the tension of the strap in a standard way for each watch. For example, in the weight lifting video, the watch is not on your wrist, but much higher. If not all watches are tested under similar conditions, only chance and luck can affect the measurements. If you claim that these are scientific measurements, then unfortunately I have to say that they are not.
Hello, I have a question. I am using the PolarH10 as a baseline. Comparing treadmill runs, yoga, and intense weightlifting between the whoop 4 (wrist) and the Watch 5 Pro, I am finding the Watch 5 Pro more accurate for the real time HR as well as post analysis ave and max HRs. I am using MAPMYRUN with the H10, the Whoop App, and the watch tracking apps. I display the H10 and Whoop on a split screen and compare to the watch display for real time HRs. The biggest trend is both the watch and whoop are slow to catch high HRs and if the HR drops quickly, the wrist devices miss the peak. For the exercise summary, the Watch 5 is consistently and considerably more accurate. I did receive a Watch Pro update about a month ago, prior to trying the whoop. Are you considering another Watch 5 pro test with most recent updates? Or is there something I am missing. Based on your charts, I was expecting the whoop to be much better than the results I am seeing. By the way, love your channel and it has been crucial for my decisions!
Excellent covering the specs up front, and your experience with the battery autonomy. I believe this will make your channel appeal to even more people. Perhaps you could add an image of all the ratings you give for the features tested, and the overall score, since you quantify them all. Four days battery life, wow! Ouch for the sleep tracking, in particular the deep sleep stage which is the one I'm most interested in. This stage is better tracked by chance than by the 5 Pro, it seems. Unfortunately the Dreem 2 is no longer for sale for consumers. If you have a chance please consider testing the Sleep As Android app, which is a Wear OS compatible software, which could present an alternative for the Samsung (and other Wear) watches.
Thanks for the compliment! I need to collect more data with the watch to make sure how good the sleep tracking is, but I think this is indeed a good first indication. Have a great day!😀
@@TheQuantifiedScientist I have been using the sleep app for some time, but the graph that shows my sleep stages on the phone health app is useless. I want to see the data in more detail, like you did in the video. So how did you get the sleep data from the watch into a useful graph like you showed us?
Thanks for a very in depth review. I have this watch and do enjoy it but certainly take the health metrics with a grain of salt. Helpful to point you in the right direction but absolutely a plus/minus to certain metrics. As shown in the video, one in particular is your oxygen saturation. Take the score that the watch gives you then add 1-2 and that will be more accurate. Just measured mine at total rest (healthy) and it gave 96%. Add two: 98%, ya that's about right for me.
Really seems like it's all about fit and variables like that. I'd love to see some tests with different band styles. Maybe try to isolate the variable by getting bands of the same circumference where you can choose more than just where the holes are pre placed. Something I've noticed about people who have an apple watch actually get skin irritation because it is pressed so hard into their wrist.
@@erlendkristiansen4664 it's called isolating variables. The scientific method. If they all had the same placement and pressure on the wrist, how would the results change? These devices work off of good contact with the skin and a band that isn't infinitely adjustable won't give the best contact. If you think they wouldn't, pause the video and inspect it for yourself.
@@erlendkristiansen4664 Most of these high end devices use similar sensors which leave the factory calibrated and tested. These are not camera sensors for different companies to have different interpretation of the values, they have to more or less them same. The compass in all our devices is going to point the same direction with reasonable accuracy if its of good quality no matter which company uses it. The large varienace in these tests of different high end watches might simply come down to fitment, user pattern and use of statistical tools without any statistical model which accounts for all these factors, and more importantly the lack of sample variety and numbers. But then if we try to do all these things then it becomes a laboratory test that the manufactures would have done anyway. But then lab tests are good for labs because in the wild these magic sensors won't do any magic, they just be becomes unreliable. We could go on and on about this but the bottom line is if these devices can measure with reasonable accuracy of say 80 percentage or something, that should be good enough if they are using the same senor that's available in the market. Only when one if these manufactures comes out with some revolutionary technology that's exclusive to them we can go into that high territory of accuracy and try comparing them.
Looks that way because the results seem too wild with the tag scientific on it. Like some man said numbers said out without mentioning their uncertainty is scientifically useless.
8:19 I wonder why there are thousands of dots in samsung watch results but same exercise with apple watch 9 has only less than hundred dots. Is it because galaxy watch devices measure more frequent than Apple watch?
Love and appreciation from India. I really admire the work you put in to make content like this. Reviewers here in India do not even go for a 5k run with the watch and share the basic metrics in their reviews. Some commented here that they've changed their decision to buy this specific smart watch because they feel the sensors in this aren't good enough. My case is the opposite. Galaxy watches may not be the best fitness tracking devices out there, but it's really hard to find a smart watch that can match the other smart features that the galaxy watches offer. (Body Composition Measurement, for example) Besides that, I'm not an athlete fighting for gold medal in Olympics for my country ☺️ I'm more than happy with approximate values that are meaningful. Once again, congrats for making in-depth data mining like this. I'm now waiting for Onam (Local festival here in Kerala, India) bumper lottery results to check if my mom will get the first price, for her to buy this watch for me ☺️
Hi Rob, I know you don't take requests, but if you can, kindly try reviewing the newly launched Amazfit GTS 4 mini with Biotracker 3 PPG, with GTS/GTR 4 models with Biotracker 4 ppg, which claims to take 33% more readings as compared to Gen 3.
I have the watch 5 pro and the sleep tracking is disappointing, the blood pressure monitor is a massive bullshit... only the heart rate seems correct. On the positive side, I like the robust design on my wrist, the gpx tracker is a real plus for bike rides or on foot. I'm waiting to see what Apple will release, and surely I'll rebuild an Apple ecosystem. Thanks for the Review/Test 🙂
I really enjoyed your objective and intelligent review - as I have purchased a 5 pro in 2024, the price is much more affordable, esp in buying refurb from Amazon
Amazing!!!! I liked a lot your type of analysis. This is a beautiful comparison. Who like science will fall in love with your videos. Thanks a lot! Greetings from Brazil
As I'm watching the video I'm hoping to see something on the BP monitoring. One thing I never seen any testing on is Rep counting for weight lifting with the accelerometer.
Products of which companies do you have early access to test Rob ? Fitbit Sense 2 is announced. Will you be able to test it ? On paper, it is similar to Sense 1 which was terrible at heart rate tracking.
Can you test the sleep tracking based on "Sleep as android" app and its agreement with EEG? Sleep as android has been in the market for years and I think it's (or should be) one of the more accurate tracking algorithms for wear OS watches
I do a HIIT workout on a treadmill. It consists of a warmup, the workout, and the cool down. The workout has 8 segments of 2 minutes each with 30 seconds running at 7.6 mph with 90 seconds of walking at 2.5 mph. Is there a fitness tracking watch that can contend with that? I'd like to add jumping rope to this routine with 8 segments of 30 seconds of speed jump roping and 90 seconds of rest. Can any fitness tracking watch deal with that?
Thanks for your videos Rob! Disappointed at the HR sensor for the weight training and hopefully this changes with software updates in the next month or so or I'm gonna wait for the Huawei GT4 Pro launch soon 😂. Looking forward to your next review! Cheers
It doesn’t. Ppl say “software updates” as a way to ease the cognitive dissonance in their mind, but there is almost NO company that has legitimately and RAPIDLY improved their product through updates. Samsung never added features. Google never fixed battery drain. Buy a product for how it is NOW, not for the pretend future ppl convince themselves will happen but never does
@@seanlinehan1136 that's true, sad but oh well. Was really looking forward to this watch as it would be great for my Samsung ecosystem. Guess I'm just disappointed
I love the accuracy and proficiency in the way you review these watches! I ordered the Galaxy watch 5 and abruptly returned it. I would love some input from you and the followers on your channel about advice to let my Samsung S21 Ultra connect to in my opinion a more attractive option the Huawei smart watch. I tried to connect my watch fit to my S21 Ultra and failed. I still find their design so much more attractive. And according to your hard work, so much more effective in health tracking. In your expert opinion is it even feasible to connect a Huawei watch to a Samsung phone in the United States? My watch fit original, connected to my mate 20x global version flawlessly. I never could get it to work with my S21 Ultra.
First of all, thanks for your sharing. You are very particular about experimental data. It is the first time to see such a sharing. It is really special. I think the battery increase of the galaxy watch 5 pro this time is a big improvement in the smart watch. In the past, the smart watch had a small battery, and various functions could hardly be fully turned on, so it was impossible to fully experience the convenience brought by the smart watch. But the watch 5 pro provides a larger battery, which not only increases the usage time, but you no longer need to worry about which function consumes power, and can fully experience the convenience of a smart watch.
I'll probably get it eventually anyway just because I already own a Samsung phone and this is still the best watch option available in the Galaxy ecosystem. It's a bit too thick for my taste, but the improved battery life is worth it for me. Cheers!
Dude serious question for you. How comes the Samsung Active 2 is not listed in the watches you tested 06:50 in the video? Am I blind , is it listed or did you not run tests on the Active 2? You've tested every other watch so I'm stumped as to why you didn't carry out tests on the active 2 ??
On android if you want a smartwatch the pixel watch is the better option if you want more accurate data. I don't like sleep tracking on galaxy watches. Battery life is good on galaxy watches. I wish we could have it all on a watch!
I am researching all options for 24/7 data collection of fitness, spo2, and sleep data. I currently us a Fitbit Versa 2 and looking to upgrade. Seems the Oura Ring and Fitbit series the only gadgets for me due to the Samsung and Apple watches having such poor battery life. Not sure if the Apple Watch Ultra will be useable for >24 hrs at a time using all apps per day.
@@MrMockaMock oh yeah any android watch basically runs android Whatever battery you get over an android phone is the same you will got in an android watch But the watch 5 pro does give 3 days of battery life according to chigztech review
yeah , i wonder that too, garmin venu and similar ones even xiaomi s1 has 1 2 weeks battery, while flagship apple/samsuung barely has few days of battery, this is just stupid and sad... ill just wait few more generations, maybe it will be similar to garmin ones
Hey thanks for your detailed Videos! I think there are many improvements from firmware upgrades can you re-make an update for accuracy? I want to know because i want to use it for running and weight lifting workouts ,I know that the apple watch ultra is way more accurate but also the price is way more higher :( Also i have polar h10 so i can connect with spesific program for more accuracy
So I know to start heartstrap monitors that are around your bicep seem to work better than anything around the WRIST.. IS THERE ANY TYPE OF WATCH BAND ADAPTER THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO WEAR YOUR WATCH AROUND YOUR UPPER ARM WHERE YOUR BICEP IS? Cuz then when you work out you can just put it there it looks like the same type of sensors they use for the armband type.. Should be just a matter of moving the watch to a more accurate place?
*Watch5 Pro* vs. *Watch4 Classic* (46mm, i.e. bigger display & battery): + Battery: 590 mAh vs. 361 mAh, i.e. +63 % capacity. This is a MAJOR UPGRADE! Watch4 lasts about 1 day +/- couple of hours. + Separate GPS tracking feature (Watch4: Google Maps etc.) + Display protection: Sapphire crystal (vs. Corning Gorilla Glass DX) + A new sensor: Thermometer (the temperature of your wrist...) + Bluetooth 5.2 (vs. 5.0) * Same 1.4" Display, Chipset, CPU, GPU, RAM, internal storage... * Same water resistance: IP68 * Apple is better for HR Measuring (especially with weights) and much better for Sleep Tracking (very recent update). But... it's iPhone or nothing. - Very THICK! Check this live, before buying (specs are wrong...)! - More expensive, yet practically same performance (except battery) - Rotating bezel is gone (handy as Volume, although not necessary) - Not on major sale, yet... Back in June, I got my Watch4 Classic -53 % vs. the local MSRP. Thus I'm not that bitter about Apple's results. Especially when I don't own an iPhone, but Samsung Galaxy A51 5G (2020). Inside, *Watch4* (40/44 mm) and *Watch4 Classic* (42/46 mm) are identical (both HW & SW). Both can be bought with eSIM or without it (BT). All versions have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (BT). Both have smaller size (1.2" w/ smaller battery) and the bigger size (1.4" w/ bigger battery). Classic just has that Rotating Bezel and slightly different, I guess more "Classic" design. It's also bit heavier.
@@eukariootti1 I meant a real world comparison. I'm not impressed about the 5 at all. Same chipset (which is quite good), very thick, very expensive compared to the 4 now.
Samsung Watch5; How can I make the watch faces change to another one from a selection of favourites, automatically after a certain set period(hours). Like a playlist of wacth faces?
Wow, Samsung did you hear that? The sports tracking & health/fitness are "OK'ish" and show some "promise". That's terrible given the vast quantities of resources you have. Thanks for the review. You saved me some money.
What's the best alternative to an Apple Watch for an Android user? I am having a lot of difficulty deciding on one.

i got iphone 13pm and apple watch 7 cus of his reviews i had s21u before and no good smartwatch option only huawei shiet. also exynos scam trash and overheat i would prefer even old iphone and apple watch 6 over "galaxy system"
I switched from the galaxy watch 4 classic to the Huawei GT3 pro titanium edition, and I couldn't be any happier. I also got the Huawei fit 2 classic for the gym, and I was using them with my S22 and now with my Fold 4, and they work flawlessly. I did not just switch to Huawei because of the sensors accuracy, which is a huge plus, but design wise, and most importantly, the battery life is insane on Huawei's wearables. Plus they work with iPhones in case I wanted to switch to the iPhone 14 Pro in few months, since Galaxy watch 4 and 5 only work with android
Great review! Rob, do you know what is the % of error of you Polar device? 99% seems pretty correlated to me, but let me wondering how two identical Polar bands compare against themselves.
7:40 How can the GalaxyWatch4_2022 (retested) be better than Samsung Watch 5 or 5 Pro? 9:50 In outdoor cycling, GalaxyWatch5Pro is worse than GalaxyWatch4 and the GalaxyWatch4_2022 and GalaxyWatch5(standard). How could this be? I'm so surprised? I wonder if the score would change if you repeated the test 9 more times for each device.
I heard in some countries the Galaxy 5 pro could read blood pressure as well has heart rate. Any idea how accurate this is and when the US market may get this feature?
"Pixel Watch will reportedly match the health sensors found on the Fitbit Luxe and Charge 5" not looking back to android tbh especially exynos.. apple pay etc is rly nice
Been waiting for this review as I wanted to replace my Samsung Gear S3. However, ended up buying Xiaomi mi band 7 after watching that review, cause sleep tracking is important for me and mi band does a pretty good job at it. Now, having watched the review of Samsung Watch 5, I do not regret my choice. Samsung should learn from Xiaomi at least with regard to sleep tracking. Oh, and I also forgot to mention that Mi Band 7 lasts me 5 days of sleep tracking, heart rate tracking every 30 mins and at least 40 minutes walk each day.
Correct me if im wrong but it's shows in the first heart rate test that the hr readings of gw5 has far less noise compared to the polar hr now I don't get why you chose polar to be the benchmark for this test when gw5 readings are much more less scattered than polar which means according to you the close they are to the blue line the more accurate the agreement.
Vienna Just found your channel as a friend bought the Watch5 Pro (im Mediamarkt Landstraße). Nice work! Hoping to see a Video like this about the upcoming Apple Watch 8.
Hello. Would you mind sharing how are you getting so much battery life? I only get 3 days max when using it very lightly. With heavy use I get 2 days max. I haven't tried the power saving mode though.
This has the worst sleep tracking of any watch I have tried. I have tried over 8. The time is wrong when I fall asleep, if I wake up and go to the bathroom, it logs it as another sleep. That sleep is also wrong for when I fall asleep. I wish I could honestly return this watch. I doesnt measure ecg on its own, as you need to have your elbow on the table and watch near your heart. Any Huawei watch beats this watch, its a shame about the huawei software
So I'm trying to get the best sleep tracking and weight lifting smart watch I watched all 4 reviews of gw5p, tic watch 3 ultra, watch runner and garmin venu plus 2 but all reviews have week points in what I want. What would you recommend out of these watches I really like the ticwatch due to battery life but it fails in most of the tests.
As you are a doctor like my late father. can you advise of a good app and scan face that is the best for fast viewing of oxygen and heart rate on both...... I have just got a 5 pro. Thanks

My GWPRO5 is perfect. Almost identical to my 255 forunner garmin. Sometimes better
Thank you! I appreciate the honesty and the time and effort you invested with this review. Hope to see more of this!
@The quantified scientist. It's a pleasure see your review. The unique way to comment correctly a product. Thanks for your time test and training
Have a great day!😀
@@TheQuantifiedScientist Thank you Rob! You too, and have a great night's sleep!
@@TheQuantifiedScientist I have been using the sleep app for some time, but the graph that shows my sleep stages on the phone health app is useless. I want to see the data in more detail, like you did in the video. So how did you get the sleep data from the watch into a useful graph like you showed us?
As the watch has been out for some time with updates, do you feel the accuracy has been improved?
I have the same question :D... Thinking about buying one..
I really can't understand how that is the conclusion you've managed to draw from this.
Rob, congrats for u work, its amazing! Please make a TRex 2 full review.
I hope that you'll make a video about Fitbit Sense 2, too. It would be nice to compare Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 with Fitbit Sense 2.
I hope to get it soon!
Why was Apple Watch not included in the sleep data graph?
@@jon_underscore What kind of agenda?
At the time I was testing it, the Apple Watch did not measure sleep stages, just awake and asleep 😀
Thank you for your amazing in depth videos! Always look forward to them!
I'm now waiting for Onam (Local festival here in Kerala, India) bumper lottery results to check if my mom will get the first price, for her to buy this watch for me ☺️
Exactly, approximate values are just fine. No other best overall choice for Android. I have ordered the 40mm one.
If the sensors and overlying softeware is not accurate what is the purpose of buying an expensive Smart watch or band?
What do you think about the Apple watch ultra?
I really enjoyed your objective and intelligent review - as I have purchased a 5 pro in 2024, the price is much more affordable, esp in buying refurb from Amazon
I like your English pronunciation and the way, the speed you talk. My English is poor, but I can listen your every word clear.
Amazing!!!! I liked a lot your type of analysis. This is a beautiful comparison. Who like science will fall in love with your videos. Thanks a lot! Greetings from Brazil
Hi Rob,
Maybe it's been asked already, but what watches would you recommend? I'm looking at the Garmin Venu 2 right now.
Greetings
As I'm watching the video I'm hoping to see something on the BP monitoring. One thing I never seen any testing on is Rep counting for weight lifting with the accelerometer.
Could you retest to see after 6 months update the possible changes in performance?
what about blood pressure and BIA accuracy 🤔?
I'm not saying anything but the SPO2 test is the same as my finger SPO2 Device
Thank you so much !
Could you tell us the complete list of settings you use to get that battery life please?
Buy a product for how it is NOW, not for the pretend future ppl convince themselves will happen but never does
It will never change. Look at GW4. They as bad as was when just came out 😹
The Huawei watch gt 3 pro has just been released, it will take a while until the next one is released. The next one should be GT4.
@@thedarkness3080 yeah I'm hoping within the next 6 months or so for the watch GT 4 pro as the rumours are that the GT 4 will be released this Sept.
This is more than a review, this is an analysis, great work! Can't wait for my watch 5 pro gray to arrive 29 days 🥶
Με έκανες να τρέχω για Huawei gt3 pro και επειδή έχω Samsung s20+ βλέπω να το αλλάζω και αυτό με Huawei
This channel is a gem 💎
Dank u wel Rob 🎉
Where did you purchase that leather watch band? Great video BTW.
My Fitbit Charge 3 isn't accurate at all over 90bpm so I was about to replace it with a Galaxy Watch. Now I'm not, thanks.
I just thought of this and BAM here it is. THANK YOU!
Just for you ;-) !
I'll probably get it eventually anyway just because I already own a Samsung phone and this is still the best watch option available in the Galaxy ecosystem. It's a bit too thick for my taste, but the improved battery life is worth it for me. Cheers!
Thank you for brutally honest video. I meant to get Samsung watch for training but now wiser :)
Great review as always. Was wondering if you can review the blood pressure and ECG features of this watch.
26:49 Please give me a link to that Brown strap⁉️‼
I really hope software updates improve some of these results. I already ordered the watch, but some of these results are not stellar.
Why don't these watches use Garmin's technology for the battery?
because people will keep buying it regardless. Just look at Apple.
Because garmin is way costlier than Samsung watches
It's largely the OS that is so demanding of the battery which also influences the internals required.
@@MrMockaMock oh yeah any android watch basically runs android
Whatever battery you get over an android phone is the same you will got in an android watch
But the watch 5 pro does give 3 days of battery life according to chigztech review
yeah , i wonder that too, garmin venu and similar ones even xiaomi s1 has 1 2 weeks battery, while flagship apple/samsuung barely has few days of battery, this is just stupid and sad... ill just wait few more generations, maybe it will be similar to garmin ones
Hey thanks for your detailed Videos! I think there are many improvements from firmware upgrades can you re-make an update for accuracy?
I want to know because i want to use it for running and weight lifting workouts ,I know that the apple watch ultra is way more accurate but also the price is way more higher :(
Also i have polar h10 so i can connect with spesific program for more accuracy
Amazing video. With so many details, this is the best analysis.
Talking about review, you are The Man!
Thank you to share your knowledge .
Was waiting for it, thank you Rob
The way he breaks down his findings is amazing
So I know to start heartstrap monitors that are around your bicep seem to work better than anything around the WRIST..
IS THERE ANY TYPE OF WATCH BAND ADAPTER THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO WEAR YOUR WATCH AROUND YOUR UPPER ARM WHERE YOUR BICEP IS?
Cuz then when you work out you can just put it there it looks like the same type of sensors they use for the armband type..
Should be just a matter of moving the watch to a more accurate place?
PLEASE DO A COMPLETE/ INDETH REVIEW OF THE HUAWEI GT3!!!🥺🥺🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm from India I'm an Android user bcz of you imade a decision to by Huawei gt3 pro thank you so much for your work
The galaxy watch 5 pro have a two news atualizations in 2023. You make a new test? Thanks from Brazil!
Hi!
what would you buy between galaxy watch 5 pro and huawei gt3 pro and why?
Thx.
Would be very interesting to see a comparison between the 5 Pro and the 4 Classic.
Nothing to see there.Same processor , same sensors minus rotating bezel
*Watch5 Pro* vs. *Watch4 Classic* (46mm, i.e. bigger display & battery):
+ Battery: 590 mAh vs. 361 mAh, i.e. +63 % capacity. This is a
MAJOR UPGRADE! Watch4 lasts about 1 day +/- couple of hours.
+ Separate GPS tracking feature (Watch4: Google Maps etc.)
+ Display protection: Sapphire crystal (vs. Corning Gorilla Glass DX)
+ A new sensor: Thermometer (the temperature of your wrist...)
+ Bluetooth 5.2 (vs. 5.0)
* Same 1.4" Display, Chipset, CPU, GPU, RAM, internal storage...
* Same water resistance: IP68
* Apple is better for HR Measuring (especially with weights)
and much better for Sleep Tracking (very recent update).
But... it's iPhone or nothing.
- Very THICK! Check this live, before buying (specs are wrong...)!
- More expensive, yet practically same performance (except battery)
- Rotating bezel is gone (handy as Volume, although not necessary)
- Not on major sale, yet... Back in June, I got my Watch4 Classic -53 %
vs. the local MSRP.
Thus I'm not that bitter about Apple's results. Especially when
I don't own an iPhone, but Samsung Galaxy A51 5G (2020).
Can you please do a review of xiaomi mi band 7 pro?
Samsung Watch5; How can I make the watch faces change to another one from a selection of favourites, automatically after a certain set period(hours). Like a playlist of wacth faces?
Can you please do a video on how accurate is calories burned number in smartwatches?
Great point!
Wow, Samsung did you hear that? The sports tracking & health/fitness are "OK'ish" and show some "promise". That's terrible given the vast quantities of resources you have. Thanks for the review. You saved me some money.
Thank you for your research! This is a real review vs marketing! Thank you!
I ended up caving in and buying this. So far, so good.👌. The smartwatch features + long battery life is excellent.
@@NatalieRath congrats 😊
Did you get the Pro version? And what color combination did you go with?
@@kb24theMVP Titanium Black and yes, the Pro version. Been thinking about it. Looks and feels fantastic. The big screen 👌 feels so good.
Great review! Rob, do you know what is the % of error of you Polar device? 99% seems pretty correlated to me, but let me wondering how two identical Polar bands compare against themselves.
He did compare identical Polar H10s. Check his previous reviews.
Hi Valter! Indeed I did this, is it also in the overview graph always, the "Polar H10" is the correlation with the 2nd one.
HI. Please inform about blood sugar measurement with GW 7. Do you have any idea ?
This was insanely helpful. Great video!
This is so helpful! I was almost dead-set on buying a Watch 5 pro, but from these reviews, I might just get a Watch 4, or even just an Apple Watch 7.
Looking forward for the Pixel Watch, it's my last hope before I concede to a FitBit Sense...
I can't wait either!
"Pixel Watch will reportedly match the health sensors found on the Fitbit Luxe and Charge 5" not looking back to android tbh especially exynos.. apple pay etc is rly nice
@ That would be good news for me, I'm specially in need of an accurate sleep tracker
@@Nyvel but they both not good as apple watch and polarh10,,mm
So if heart rate tracking is most important, galaxy watch 4 is better? I have POTS so I'm looking for heart rate accuracy.

Hello. Would you mind sharing how are you getting so much battery life? I only get 3 days max when using it very lightly. With heavy use I get 2 days max. I haven't tried the power saving mode though.
Do you have link to this orange leather strap to the watch? It looks awesome!
Complete health watch noob question: would shaving the hair underneath the sensor help with the readings?

Any idea is this problem with hardware or software.. If software, it could improve.
I don't get it then, why would Samsung come out with a new watch if they don't check and see all the trackings are accurate? Very disappointing.
This has always been Samsung. Specs, numbers, marketing promised. NO actual research put into it
