Why would anyone on earth would buy a Land Cruiser is beyond me. This has nicer paint, better warranty, more power, nicer interior, better seating and cargo capacity, tows more and costs the same or less!
Definitely would get this over the 4Runner 100/100 times. Much better looking car, front AND back

4Runner is butt ugly
And the LC is just a wide body 4Runner, more expensive but less offensive.
I am getting the LC because in our market it comes with the reliable 2.8 Diesel

I like the 6th Gen 4RUNNER but Lexus hit a Grand Slam with this GX550. Completely in a league of it's own.
4Runner is like a kids truck…the new GX is an adults off-roader
Simply best SUV in the world period end of sentence. Full, stop.
The new GX 550 twin turbo V6 is extremely compact and this makes it very complex , even more so than other Lexus and Toyota Turbo V6 models - no, turbo V6 models are not the same, nor are these implemented the same way across various models. When the GX 560 needs serious engine work, be prepared for a major expense even with a warranty.

I need Brian to come shop with me. Tired of having DH shoot down my well researched choices because his 6’7” frame doesn’t fit! This one’s eliminated when it’s smaller than the Tacoma. He whined about the snug seating on the new F-150 as well. Brian, what do you fit in comfortably??
How comfortable are the seats?
Short answer, VERY comfortable.
I couldn't understand the first minute of the video because of the mumbling. What was said? I thought I heard something about the difference between the Toyota and lsbxxsscrnn550.
Same ground clearance as a Subaru? Why so low to the ground?
It’s not really intended for off road use so there is no need for it to sit higher. It’s primarily a street vehicle with off road capabilities.

Giving people what they want like a 3rd row option, a non-detuned engine, a front locker, a leather interior option, an interior that puts Toyota to shame, sliding 2nd row seats, flat folding 2nd row seats, a rearview mirror camera, etc.? I'M IN!!! Oh wait...

Nobody needs all that though do they? These are mall crawlers that might occasionally go down a gravel road.
@@Encourageablebut the things he mentioned are pretty much standard in competitive vehicles for the segment and are perfect for “mall crawling” in addition to off-roading/overlanding. Literally every single feature he listed.
