With the help of Selfix UK (Dave??) I was able to change the bearings on my old Hotpoint machine. That site also helped me change the suspension, as well as the inlet valves. After a successful suspension repair and replacement of the inlet valves, I found that my washer leaked. Your video above helped me attempt to locate my leak. It appears that my water pressure is too much for the valves, so, with your advice, I’ll reduce the pressure. Sadly, it also appears that when one suspension rod broke, it pierced the outer drum. I have found ANOTHER one of your videos, indicating how to repair a hole in the outer drum. Amazing info, which is helping me keep my Hotpoint 95360 (40 years old) still working. Not that it makes a difference, I am a 70 year old female, attempting to do these repairs on my own. My only wish is that you were my neighbor….lol. Thank you for taking the time to put up these videos.

A small black rubber tube near the bottom and just inside the rear access panel came detached from whatever it was supposed to be attached to ( I am not certain what it was) on our LG frontload washing machine and flooded our laundry room, hall, kitchen, and basement. Yes, one small detached rubber tube caused all of that. I did not find any clamp, so I reattached the tube (to whatever it is) and taped it for extra security.
Thank you. I have a 10-11 year old Bosch Vision 300 (discontinued). Do you feel this machine is worth fixing? I’m getting an E13 code and I think it was leaking at the pump (I know seems like I should know for sure but my basement is very old and brick so seepage is very normal. So I’ve only recently realized it might be my machine since we’ve been in a mild draught therefore no seepage and still wetness after a load of laundry. I’ve LOVED this washer since the day I got it. But if I replace the pump, at it’s age am I setting myself up for high un-reliability issues? Now at this age, I realize that’s a bit of a loaded question. I guess I need to know if a $200-250 repair is a reasonable cost to risk on this machine.
the water in my GE Washer started leaking from the Soak Door. It clearly is slow in draining inflow water in fill cycle, It can't be due to pressure since we didn't do anything that would change the pressure. Niether it is due to a seal near glass. I am assuming it could be a blockage ? How do I troubleshoot it, please help.
hi. A great video, very informative. Silly question how do you only make the machine run for long enough to find the leak on cardboard without it running a complete cycle? and then drain itself?

I wash my clothes in the river. My under pants kills at least one fish. So I get to eat fish on wash day.
You are mad.
There is such a thing as a washing machine you know.
spu3 That is very unhygienic⚠
Use a washing machine instead
