I like the trial and error here. No editing, just installing like I would be doing in my own garage. This is how things should be learned. Great vid fellas!
Wow, no one goes into detail like this 25:00 and it was giving me hell!!! Thank you. I keep killing over once I tried going into first gear ⚙️ I tried twice and stopped before things got damaged. Again thank you and awesome video!
You have to align the first plate correctly...it took us quite a while to get it manipulated to the right spot...just be patient and use the holes with a pic to move that first plate into the right spot and you will know immediately when you got it...
If its not seated it will feel like you have metal on metal and it will have a tiny bit of play left to right. Once its seated, it will actually feel soft...you will be able to push it in and out a tiny bit because it wont be up against a hard surface...(you will know right away if you got it right) Also, when I did this one you could see that I could turn it a bit because the bike was in neutral...when its not seated, its not moving.
@@joes967 Sweet!!! So they were going to charge you 2 hours labor and you literally watched 2 complete morons due it in 45 minutes. Lolz. Just make sure all the bolts get tightened to 10-12 newton meters. If you are worried about running into issues I am happy to give you my number to talk you through any problems...but the video shows pretty much everything that can go wrong. Good luck and enjoy your new cover and plate dude!!!
I just bought the same set up . But the pressure plate looks a little darker red than the bike or in the pictures online . A little burgundy . Is that the case with yours?
@@neph-izmo6842 Mine is a tad bit darker red than the Ducati red...but its nowhere near maroon....the video is pretty much dead on accurate as far as the shade of red that it is...
Not sure what that even means..LOL...yeah I was not the best with a camera and this was like the 3rd video I ever made....its not as easy as one thinks...if you have any questions about the install I am happy to answer. Personally, I think I showed a LOT more of the install than 90% of the other video's of it on TH-cam...
@@Motopartsvr LOLZ....yeah...we had the goPro on this little stand and the mic was bouncing off stuff and he was moving it all over the place.. :D If I ever do the install again I will re-record this....but its just not often that we do it...we are 2 rookies with a camera..LOL
