Not going to lie but this is the BEST clear clutch cover install on TH-cam!!! Very detailed & very informational about what to look for when putting the cover back on & torque specs. I literally feel very confident about doing this myself now!!! Thank you 🙏🏾
Thanks. I actually did have the whole package in the freezer. Took it out right before filming that part and thought it would still be cool when I went to install it. Today turned out to be 80 degrees out of nowhere so it got warm in the garage fast. In a matter of 5 minutes the bearing thawed out.
thanks to your video, i was able to complete the install on my 17 supersport. Ran the CNC racing kit and when put back together, same problem, the plate would not actuate. Come to find out the second disc was just slightly off center. Thanks man.
Great videao thanks, i am away to do this on my 1199s but for me a little drop of threadlock on the bolts to stop them vibrating out which can be common.
Yeah, definitely. If it were something I would use more I would figure something out. But installing this was literally the first and last time I used it. Lol.
Thanks for the video and the instructions. How much force (Nm.) do you use to fasten the screws? The question concerns all screws. Would be thankful for an answer.
Hey nice video! I dropped my Ducati and cracked the clutch cover. Can you send me the link for the CNC? Can't seem to find it and I don't want to order from a boof website. No cheap stuff over here 👍🏽
Hello sir I am wondering if I can change just the clear clutch cover case without changing the pressure plate and the pressure plate ring? Please let me know. Thank you
Thank you so much I am not a handy guy. Changing just the cover seem to be easy but changing other require more skill. Your video is very clear and detailed. Thank you
Do you experience any problem on your ducati because I heard theres a lot of problems on ducati thats why I am hesitating to get a 959 panigale.. great vids by the way 👍👍👍
Love the video, I am fairly new to ducati family and I'm not much of a mechanically inclined and would like to avoid taking it to the dealership for installment. In the video, starting the motorcycle just right after the parts are installed, was it natural to have oil dripping inside the cover, and it looked like it made some condensation inside?
You made this install look really easy. I have a Diavel 1260, with new clear clutch cover, pressure plate and ring waiting to get installed. I didn't see you drain the oil. I've seen other YT'er drain thiers. Is that a required step? I just had my first service, and I would hate to change the oil again if it wasn't necessary. Do you have a link for your torque wrench? It's a tekton? Thanks again for the great video.
No need to drain the oil. Just put the bike on the kick stand and the oil will settle at the left side of the engine without spilling. And yeah the torque wrench is Tekton. I forgot where I bought it. Might have been eBay.
@@bikesandbeats4693 Excellent! Thanks man. Oh, and what type was the torque wrench? 3/8, 1/4...? I'm poking around on Harbor Freight now looking at your press and Torque Wrenches. Just found your channel. You gained a sub! Looking forward to the next video.
When your bike is on does your clutch always produce fluid behind the glass or does it eventually dissipate over time? In other words, is the fluid washing up on the glass a common feature you see happen when the Ducabike cover is installed correctly?
Does the inner part of the bearing randomly stall all the time on yours ? Obviously it stops spinning when you push the clutch in. But when you release it does it randomly stall and start?
Is it possible to install this with just the clear cover but keep the original pressure plate? I don't like the design of the stuff inside but just like the clear outer cover

Hey brother I bought the cover case from 1199 for my 899 like you said, thank you so much I really appreciate it. I bought same is your clear cover from you recommended site. It’s fit in my 899 ? Or it’s different stuff? I saw many videos some has 5 springs inside not the 3 like your. It’s that right? Please let me know 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
As for which clutch cover to get, as long as the one you get is compatible with the 1199 you will be good. I’m not sure if it’s the exact same for the 959. I think it is but I’m not sure. Check motomillion.com.
could I put the panigale v2 clear cover on my sv650s? They are both v2 and with a wet clutch. Please tell me if it is possible bro. If I had the money I would buy a panigale, my dream bike
HI does the oil makes the transparent circular window dirt after the first use so you cannot see the clutch any more? Or after the engine shut off became clear again? Thanks.
Hey , nice video. Tell me one thing. I got the same thing installed and the pin in the middle, which holds the ball storage (or whatever you guys call it in English - I’m a German bratwurst my friend) , is it moving different pace as the other parts like the pressure plate around it and such? I Kinde figured out that yours is doing this as well but just wanted to make sure in case I got that wrong from what I actually can tell by seeing this video. Thanks for the help my friend and stay safe.
For My panigale 899, I bought the magnesium clutch case from 1199, then I bought new bearing, and clutch control pin, inner pressure ring, clutch pressure plate, clear clutch cover. What else I need to buy? Please let me know🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
